The Sovereign and their High Priestess Ayesha were furious at what had happened.
Sebastian on his side acted like he had just swatted away a mosquito. He paid no attention to the wreckage of the exploding drone fighters. He turned directly into his black raven form and soared into the sky. The moment he passed through the atmosphere into space, he transformed into a twisted vortex of magic. The vortex tore through space and Sebastian disappeared into the universe.
For Sebastian at his current power level, some people and some things were just like swatting a mosquito. Generally speaking when they annoyed him, he would just casually chase them away. If he was really angry, he would just eliminate them completely. He would not take these minor things to heart at all.
The Sovereign were a very troublesome opponent for the major civilizations in the universe. But for Sebastian they were just a larger mosquito. This did not mean that the Sovereign were weak as a civilization. Rather it meant that Sebastian stood at a different height of power. He thought about things from a different perspective. Naturally he handled things differently than others.
Now with his sights set on opponents like Dormammu and the Vishanti and Chthon and Mephisto, the Sovereign civilization truly paled in comparison to those threats.
Bang! Bang!

After countless rips and leaps through space, Sebastian finally spotted a planet in the distance. The planet resembled a giant human face. He knew immediately that it was Ego the Living Planet that he had been searching for!
Sebastian concentrated his magical presence and made himself disappear from detection.
He immediately approached Ego carefully.
Ego's will was unified across his planet body. He could not perfectly split his consciousness to control his human clones and his true planetary self at the same time. Therefore while Ego was using his clone body to lure Star-Lord into his trap, his true planetary self's consciousness was minimal. As long as Sebastian did not approach in a high-profile manner or land too obviously, Ego would not notice his presence.
The black raven form that Sebastian had transformed into gradually flew down to Ego's planet surface. He landed silently on the ground. Just then Sebastian spotted a spaceship chasing a female alien across the wilderness. Sebastian raised an eyebrow. He knew the green-skinned alien woman being chased was most likely Gamora. The one piloting the spaceship doing the chasing was most likely Nebula her sister.
Should Sebastian get involved in their conflict?
Never mind their business.
Their sisterly conflict is their own problem. Sebastian would leave it alone.
Shaking his head, Sebastian did not go looking for them. Instead he headed in the opposite direction. He planned to look for Star-Lord and the other Guardians. He figured that once he found them, it would be time to deal with Ego.

In another location far away, a figure appeared from the shadows.
His white hair was meticulously combed back.
He held a black cane that was decorated with a silver skull on top.
He wore a dark leather trench coat.
Mephisto walked out of the shadows as he usually did. He looked at the tall Titan sitting on the throne in front of him. He nodded slightly in greeting and said, "Great Thanos, this should be the first time we meet in person."
The purple-skinned Thanos sat on his throne. He looked at Mephisto who had appeared in front of him. He nodded slightly and said, "Mephisto the Lord of the Hell Dimension. How could a being like you appear in front of me? What brings you here?"
"I came here to discuss cooperation. We have a common enemy. He has things that should belong to us. I think you and I should have a good basis for cooperation do we not?"
Looking at Mephisto carefully, Thanos had never met him before in person. However Thanos certainly knew what kind of being Mephisto was. He looked at Mephisto and said, "Who is this common enemy you are talking about?"
"Sebastian Shaw. I think you should still remember him do you not?"
Hearing that name, Thanos nodded slowly and said, "Yes of course I remember him. The man who once stopped me from taking back the Space Stone. He also took away my Mind Stone. It turns out that there was a conflict between him and you as well."
"That is correct. He took something that belongs to me. But he has no intention of returning it to me. After all I am the Lord of the Hell Dimension. I have no real power to act directly in the Main Dimension of Earth. That is why I came here to seek cooperation with you. I can provide intelligence and plans. But you will be the one to carry them out with your forces."
Thanos looked at Mephisto carefully and said, "So you already have a plan worked out? You have found an opportunity to act?"
"According to my intelligence, Sebastian Shaw has left Earth and entered outer space. He has already reached the planet Ego. If we want to deal with him, we can temporarily join forces with Ego. With Ego as our ally, it should not be too difficult to capture or subdue Sebastian Shaw."
"Ego the Living Planet..." Thanos nodded slowly at the mention of that name. Having roamed the universe for so long, he naturally knew about Ego. Besides Odin of Asgard and the Ancient One of Earth, Ego was the third being that Thanos did not want to provoke. "If it involves Ego, then I might have something to contribute."
Smiling at this response, Mephisto spoke again. "As long as you can send your capable subordinates to inform Ego about Sebastian Shaw's presence, I think Ego would be happy to deal with someone who has infiltrated his planet. This is especially true during this critical period for Ego's plans."
Mephisto had barely finished speaking when Thanos shook his head and said, "No. I will not be sending my subordinates this time!"
Hearing this response, Mephisto's face expression froze. He was about to say something when Thanos continued speaking. "This time I will go in person to see what kind of man Sebastian Shaw truly is. I want to see the man who was able to single-handedly stop my Black Order and kill one of them."
Thanos slowly stood up from his throne.
At this moment, the remaining four members of the Black Order stepped out from either side of his throne.
Corvus Glaive was carrying his deadly weapon the Glaive.
Supergiant whose body had been heavily transformed into a cyborg after her injuries.
Black Dwarf whose arms had been completely replaced by powerful mechanical prosthetics.
And Ebony Maw who had not changed in appearance at all.
The four of them walked out from behind Thanos. They stood on either side of him loyally.
At this time Thanos looked at his four remaining Black Order members. He spoke again with authority. "This time I will lead you personally. We will go to Ego's planet to find Sebastian Shaw. We will destroy him if we can.
If the Infinity Stones are in his possession, then we must go all out to get them back. He currently has the Space Stone and the Reality Stone in his hands. We must retrieve them!"
Hearing that Thanos was going to deal with Sebastian personally, most of the Black Order members were fine. But deep hatred was revealed in the eyes of Corvus Glaive and Supergiant.
Corvus Glaive hated Sebastian for killing his wife Proxima Midnight.
Supergiant hated Sebastian for destroying her beautiful appearance and most of her body. She was now forced to survive as a cyborg.
Apart from them, the one with the biggest emotional reaction was Ebony Maw. He was the one who had faced Sebastian directly in combat before. Sebastian was already difficult to deal with back then. The current Sebastian was even more terrifying than before.
However thinking of Thanos going with them into battle, Ebony Maw was not so nervous anymore. Thanos was invincible. This was a belief written deep in their souls. As long as Thanos went out in person to fight, no one could stop him!
