Chapter 12 - Season 1 Episode 12 the betrayal that broke us .

Sesson 1 Episode 12 – The Betrayal That Broke Us

The sky had lost its scream. The thunder had faded, but the ground still trembled. Rain soaked the battlefield, washing blood into the mud as silence tried to crawl in. But silence was a stranger here, just like them.

Regel stepped forward, his voice low but firm, "Wait, Aditya. This Wormen—it's intelligent. If we can capture it alive, we might find answers. Who created the Wormen? Were they always like this? What do they want? This could change everything."

Aditya's blade trembled in his grip. His breath was uneven. The beast inside him still roared, still begged for blood. But Regel's words pierced his fury. He took a deep breath. His muscles loosened.

Aditya jumped back, sword lowered—but the Wormen didn't wait. Its eyes fixed on him with eerie determination. It lunged forward again, aiming not to kill—but to take.

Aditya dodged and spun behind the beast, slicing through its leg with precision. It stumbled, but didn't fall. It regained balance with a terrifying grace and grabbed Aditya again.

This time—

"DARA!?" a Stranger screamed.

Dara— a trusted, brave, one of the strongest members—launched at Aditya.

He threw his sword to the ground.

Then grabbed Aditya—his own comrade—and hurled him toward the Wormen's open palm.

The battlefield froze.

The sky didn't cry now—their hearts did.

"What the hell are you doing!?" shouted Kai, his voice trembling.

Surya sprinted forward to stop it—but Sen tackled him from the side, jumping onto the Wormen's shoulder.

"STOP! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" Surya roared.

The Wormen didn't crush Aditya. It just held him tightly, like something it came to retrieve.

Dara jumped on another shoulder of the wormen.

It wasn't random.

This Wormen came for Aditya.

And two of their own helped it.

Shock turned into screams. Anger, confusion, betrayal—they all exploded at once. Strangers shouted, some dropped their weapons. Others just stood there, hollow, broken.

Regel's voice was caught in his throat.

Baru lying on the ground at the situation of death and life , clutching the mud. "Why… why would they do this…?"

He remembered giving Dara his first food ration when he was starving. He remembered training with Sen under the moonlight. He remembered calling them brothers. And he died.

Trauma is not just pain. It's trust, burned alive in front of your eyes.

Surya gritted his teeth ,launched and reached for Aditya's sword, lying on the battlefield.

As his hand touched the hilt—

Something changed.

A dark, red aura erupted from him. His body shook. His veins blackened. His eyes turned bloodred, glowing like wrath given form.

His DNA twisted. His breath turned to steam.

The Wormen turned, and for the first time—it looked… afraid.

Surya lifted the sword. It wasn't just a weapon anymore. It was a reflection of his agony, his fury and rage.

He dashed forward, ignoring every wound on his body, cutting down any Wormen in his path.

His speed become twice . His eyes were reflecting his anger of betrayals.

Regel followed, screaming for him to wait. But nothing could stop him now.

The battlefield became a storm of steel and blood.

Strangers—broken, exhausted, barely able to stand—still rose to fight.

They didn't fight for victory now. They fought because it was the only thing left to do.

Aditya, trapped in the Wormen's grip, twisted his body. With raw, beast-like force, he broke free. Even Surya's eyes widened.

Because

Aditya's physical strength—its more than even Baru. Baru was not able to freed himself from this wormen but Aditya did.

Still Dara and Sen had one more betrayal to commit.

They threw explosives.

Massive flames erupted across the battlefield.

Regel shouted, "MOVE!" as he pulled a wounded Stranger to safety.

Surya dodged just in time. The heat seared his cheek.

Aditya caught his sword from Surya mid-air after escapingthe wormen . He breathed deeply—his fury had passed.

He looked around.

The Strangers were falling. The mission had collapsed. Their family was torn apart.

Aditya's voice, heavy with grief, thundered,

"REGEL. STOP. THIS… THIS ISN'T THE TIME.

Our mission... has already failed."
