Chapter 144 - Chapter 125:Final Wedding preparations

As Sanji entered the kitchen, he was met by three figures already waiting. The first was a man with short brown hair and a neatly trimmed brown goatee, black eyes sharp and attentive. He wore a chef's coat, a chef's apron, black pants, brown shoes, and a chef's hat, standing with calm confidence. Next to him stood a man with slicked-back white hair, amber eyes, and tan skin, also dressed in a chef's uniform, his posture relaxed but alert. Finally, there was a tall, older woman with long brown hair pulled back into a tight ponytail and brown eyes, her own chef's uniform worn with the ease of long experience.

"These are your coworkers: Yamagata Mako, Emiya Shirou, and Mia Grand," Tet said, handing Sanji a uniform.

"Everyone listen up. I know some of you are used to being in charge, but Sanji has worked as a sous chef for most of his life and knows how to run a kitchen. What sets him apart from the rest of you is that he specializes in every type of cuisine and is the most experienced with party planning. On the counter is a piece of paper with the two items specifically requested by the bride and groom. The rest of the menu is yours to decide. Have fun," Tet said cheerfully before taking off.

Sanji watched him go, then clapped his hands once to draw attention.

"All right, everybody, listen up. I don't know you, and you don't know me, but we have a lot to do and not a lot of time to do it. So I want each of you to stick to making your five best dishes in mass quantity. Anything that needs overnight prep, get it started now. We only have about three days. Tomorrow, we focus on the wedding cake and other desserts. Any complaints?" Sanji said seriously as he put on his uniform, his tone firm but professional.

"No, Chef," the three said with smiles, already moving to their stations as they set to work.

Sanji smiled in satisfaction, the familiar hum of a busy kitchen settling in around him, and got to work on his own dishes.

------

"I'm not looking forward to this," Tet said with a weary sigh as he walked into Artemis's realm, the familiar wild air pressing in around him as he searched for Zoe.

It didn't take long to find her. Zoe was silently stalking an Anjanath through the dense jungle, moving like a shadow among the foliage alongside several younger members of the Hunt. Her posture was calm and controlled, eyes never leaving their prey. She raised a hand and gave a series of sharp, practiced signals.

At once, the young huntresses leapt into action, bursting from cover and ambushing the Anjanath. Their movements were coordinated and precise, weapons striking in practiced harmony as they attacked the monster from multiple angles.

"They're not bad," Tet said with a small, impressed smile as he watched the girls work.

"They're still green," Zoe said evenly, her gaze analytical as she observed every movement. Then she glanced toward him. "Did you want something, Lord Tet?" Zoe said respectfully.

"On a scale of one to ten, how much of a fuss will the huntresses make at the wedding?" Tet said with a nervous chuckle, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Zero as far as Phoebe and I go. Zero to five with the older members, and ten to a hundred with the younger members," Zoe said with a resigned sigh, her shoulders drooping slightly at the thought.

"Is there anything you can do?" Tet asked hopefully, turning toward her.

"I'm afraid I've done all I can myself and the older members of the hunt understand our lady's desire for a family. She's wanted a child for centuries, but only recently decided she wanted a partner as well. She told myself, Phoebe, and Diana ahead of time that she was looking for someone to settle down with, but I'm afraid the younger members ignorantly believe she was brainwashed or something similar," Zoe said tiredly, the frustration clear in her voice.

"Then I guess I'll have to deal with it. Luckily, there is someone here who can keep them in line, and just in case someone has something stupid planned, I'll put a barrier around the venue that immediately ejects people with ill intent," Tet said with a knowing smile and a nod.

"Thank you, Lord Tet, that would be very helpful," Zoe said appreciatively, dipping her head.

"Of course, Zoe. I'll do the same for you when you get married. See you later," Tet said with a wave as he began to teleport out.

"What? But I'm not planning to—" Zoe said with a sudden blush, cut off mid-sentence as Tet vanished.

-------

Tet entered the guest resort and made his way down the quiet hallway before stopping in front of a certain door. He raised a hand and knocked.

The door opened to reveal a beautiful woman with shoulder-length black hair and calm blue eyes. She wore a white button-down shirt, purple pants, and black shoes, her posture relaxed yet attentive. This was, in fact, Nico Robin.

"Oh, if it isn't the master of this realm. How can I help you?" Robin said respectfully, with a smile tugging at her lips.

"Well, I've already imposed on Sanji, so I feel bad asking another Straw Hat for a favor," Tet said with an apologetic smile, scratching his cheek.

"Go ahead, I don't mind," Robin said with a soft chuckle, folding her arms as she waited.

"Oh, cool. Well, you see, my niece, the bride, leads a group of women that have sworn off men, and some of them are taking exception to the fact that their lady is getting married," Tet explained, indicating the looming problem.

"So you'd like to make use of my Devil Fruit ability to restrain the more enthusiastic members of her group, in case they can't keep their complaints to themselves," Robin said with a small, understanding and amused smile.

"Pretty much, yeah," Tet said with a nod.

"I may not be as greedy as Nami, but I also don't believe in free labor," Robin said with a smirk, one eyebrow lifting.

"The Straw Hats are planning to split up for a couple years to train, right?" Tet asked with curiosity, tilting his head slightly.

"How did you know—never mind. Yes, we are. Captain's orders," Robin said, confirming Tet's words with a calm nod.

"I can arrange for you to work as the assistant for an ancient king for a year. Then after that, I can leave you with a group whose whole purpose is to correct anomalies in the timeline for another year, or as long as you like. I can bring you right back to your crew on the day you promised to meet, without letting you age a single day," Tet offered.

"I accept," Robin said after thinking about it, her smile softening with intrigue.

"Good. All right, I've got more stuff to do," Tet said as he turned and began walking away.

-------

Tet walked outside the resort and came to a rather strange sight. Garp and Whitebeard were both sitting at a picnic table, massive frames hunched forward with their chins resting in their hands, deep in thought like two ancient statues pondering the meaning of existence.

"What's going on, fellas?" Tet said, mildly curious as he approached.

"We're thinking of a gift for Ace and Artemis, but we're both stumped. Originally, I was gonna go with a Sea King, but I'm letting Luffy have that one, especially after I found out that Artemis has hunted things far more impressive," Garp said with a deep frown, rubbing his jaw in frustration.

"Indeed. It's troublesome. Finding out that my daughter-in-law is a goddess only made gift-giving harder," Whitebeard said, his voice heavy with irritation as he folded his arms.

"Well, you've got three days. Why don't you two go and hunt something she's never hunted before and present her with either a weapon, armor, or a trophy made from the beast?" Tet said sincerely.

"Where would we find something she's never slain before?" Garp asked curiously, lifting his head as interest finally sparked in his eyes.

In the world of Naruto, the battle between the Three Legendary Sannin was heating up. All three had performed the summoning jutsu in near unison.

Jiraiya slammed his hand to the ground, summoning Gamabunta, the giant frog, whose massive form appeared in a burst of smoke, looming over the battlefield with a thunderous presence.

Tsunade followed immediately after, calling forth Katsuyu, the giant slug, her vast, pale body spreading calmly yet imposingly across the ground.

Orochimaru sneered as he completed his own summoning, expecting Manslda to arrive at his command.

Except instead of Manda, a single piece of paper appeared where the giant snake should have been.

Pinned to the cracked earth, fluttering slightly in the disturbed air, was a note with the words:

I.O.U. one giant murderous snake

Beneath the message was a chibi drawing of Tet rubbing the back of his head sheepishly and sticking his tongue out, as if apologizing while not apologizing at all.

------

Back in Tet's realm, a very confused Manda appeared in a burst of smoke at the center of a wide, grassy field, the summoning residue still curling around his colossal form. His massive body coiled instinctively as his slit pupils narrowed, sensing danger a heartbeat too late.

What he saw made him tilt his head in confusion.

Two large, old men stood waiting for him, their towering figures framed against the open sky, both staring directly at him with wide, predatory grins that promised violence rather than fear.

The silence shattered as the two let out joyous battle cries, their laughter carrying raw excitement, and in the next instant they leapt forward without hesitation, hurling themselves toward the colossal serpent with reckless enthusiasm.

Manda hissed, rearing back and flaring his hood as he prepared to strike, unaware that he had not been summoned into a battlefield… but delivered directly into his final battle
