As they ran, Hao asked a member of Ennya's platoon if they had already requested reinforcements.
They apparently tried, but the signal was jammed and the call wouldn't connect.
Hao gave it a quick try and confirmed the abnormality, clicking his tongue in frustration.
He was displeased at his own incompetence.
He, of all people, should have thought about this and not lost the majority of his rationality due to the suddenness of the situation.
He should've contacted the camp before they arrived!
