Chapter 264 - Doctor Strange’s Soul Was Struck Out!

"I refuse because I don't believe in any myths about organ chakras! Nor do I believe in any mental or faith powers."

Strange strode up to Master Ancient One, face full of agitation, shouting angrily, "There's no such thing as a soul! Humans are matter—nothing more!"

"You… are nothing more than a tiny speck of dust in this universe!"

"You're underestimating yourself," Master Ancient One said, calm as ever.

This calmness only made Strange angrier. He couldn't help but roar, "You think you've seen through me, huh? But in fact, I've seen through you!"

As he spoke, he gestured wildly, trying to poke Ancient One.

But suddenly, Ancient One struck him with a palm.

A transparent Strange suddenly emerged—his soul had been struck out by Ancient One.

The elderly observers were no strangers to this scene; they knew this meant Strange's soul had been expelled from his body.

Scott Lang and T'Challa, however, were genuinely shocked.

"What the hell? What's going on?"

Scott shouted, eyes wide. "That transparent Strange—don't tell me that's his soul. Souls actually exist?"

"Yes, Lang, that is indeed Strange's soul," Thor said with a mischievous smile, quoting Baron Mordo, "Forget everything you know."

With Thor's confirmation, Scott and T'Challa were completely flustered.

A soul actually exists! And it can be struck out with a single blow!

It was ridiculous! Their worldview had just been massively challenged.

On the screen:

Strange's soul returned to his body, visibly shaken.

"What just happened?" Strange asked, stunned.

"I struck your soul out of your body," Ancient One replied honestly.

"Did you put something in my tea? A hallucinogen?"

Strange couldn't believe it; he thought Ancient One must have spiked his drink.

"It was just tea," Ancient One said calmly.

"Why are you doing this to me?"

"Too much of the unknown is being revealed. Open your eyes!" Ancient One said, tapping Strange's head.

In an instant, Strange was launched, flying straight out of Earth, into space.

But it didn't end there.

He was pulled by an irresistible force, traveling across dimensions, drifting through the universe.

Countless bizarre and surreal dimensions flashed before his eyes, each shattering his understanding.

Not just Strange—Scott and T'Challa were equally stunned, as if they were traveling this infinite universe alongside him. Their minds were shaken to the core.

So this is how the world truly is…So this is the real face of reality?

Bang!

Finally, after wandering countless dimensions, Strange was pulled back to reality, crashing heavily before Ancient One.

"Have you seen this in the gift shop too?" Ancient One asked, hands behind his back.

Once extremely skeptical, Strange's attitude immediately shifted 180 degrees.

"Teach me!" he pleaded sincerely.

"No!"

Ancient One refused outright, pushing Strange away.

"No! Let me in! Don't keep me out!"

Strange begged outside for hours, but the door remained closed.

Yet, after over five hours, his sincerity finally moved Ancient One. The door opened.

Baron Mordo led Strange into a room.

"Take a bath, rest, and if you have time, meditate," Mordo said. "The Ancient One will summon you later."

He handed Strange a note.

Strange glanced at it—an array of letters he didn't understand. His expression stiffened. "What is this? A spell?"

"No, that's the Wi-Fi password," Mordo said. "We're not cavemen."

The scene ended there.

Scott and T'Challa were left wide-eyed, their minds blown.

For the elderly observers, however, the footage provided the most crucial piece of information unrelated to the question at hand: confirmation of the multiverse.

The multiverse truly exists!

Everyone had speculated, even knowing Ultron could traverse the multiverse, but it was always just theory.

Now, through Ancient One showing Strange multiple universes, the multiverse was clearly confirmed:"This universe is but one of an infinite number. Worlds are infinite!"

These were Ancient One's exact words.

It was the first time everyone had concrete proof.

"Ancient One always knew of the multiverse. Among the universes Strange saw, there's even Dormammu!"

Captain America's face darkened. "So Dormammu might actually be from another universe?"

"If that's true, this world is far more dangerous than we imagined," Thor said gravely.

If Dormammu came from another universe, then breaking the dimensional barrier might not be as impossible as everyone thought. Could Infinite Ultron one day appear in our universe?

Previously, the tale of Captain America and Peggy Carter meeting across dimensions was just a joke—but now, it seemed plausible.

And such a possibility might not be good.

Who knows what could cross the dimensional barrier?Captain Carter would be fine—but if it's something dangerous?

The atmosphere grew tense.

[Question: Arms dealer Ulysses Klaue collaborated with which of the following to smuggle Vibranium from Wakanda to the black market?]

A. M'BakuB. Erik KillmongerC. W'KabiD. N'Jobu

The system sounded the alert, and the new question appeared.

Everyone paused and focused on the screen.

"Klaue…"

T'Challa murmured, face serious.

Klaue had stolen Vibranium from Wakanda for decades, causing enormous destruction. Countless Wakandans had died at his hands; many locations had been blown up.

T'Challa's father had tried capturing Klaue for thirty years, without success.

This question was clearly about that situation.

"No wonder Klaue had so much Vibranium. He couldn't have done it alone—he must have had an inside man in Wakanda!" Tony Stark realized.

"Not only an insider, but someone of significant status," Captain America added.

"Do you know these people?" T'Challa asked, glancing at Tony and the others.

It made sense that they'd know Klaue; their positions were notable.

"Yes, we know him—thanks to him, one city almost blew up," Thor shrugged.

"M'Baku, W'Kabi, N'Jobu… do you recognize any of these?" Strange asked, looking at T'Challa.

Strange didn't know any of them. The others also didn't recognize the names.

That made sense—Wakanda's insiders would naturally be Wakandans.

Wakanda, being one of the poorest countries globally, had little international presence. Without the quiz system, few would have heard of it.

So everyone instinctively turned to T'Challa.

"These are mostly key figures in Wakanda," T'Challa said gravely.

This aligned with Captain America's theory: Klaue's insider must be someone high-ranking.

"Mostly?" Scott Lang noticed. "So there's one less important person?"

"No, not unimportant—I just don't know him," T'Challa shook his head. He pointed to one option: "B, Erik."

"Erik Killmonger? That name sounds familiar."

Captain America thought hard but couldn't place it. "Are you sure you don't know him?"

T'Challa recalled carefully and shook his head. "Never heard of him."

The question specified collaboration. All options should be Wakandans.

"While possible, the quiz likely won't give us a non-Wakandan—it'd be insulting our intelligence," Tony said.

Everyone agreed: without evidence, Erik was assumed Wakandan for now.

However, Erik would still be eliminated, as T'Challa didn't recognize him as important.

So option C (W'Kabi) was temporarily ruled out.

"Who are the others?" Strange asked T'Challa.

T'Challa explained:

"A, M'Baku—the leader of the Jabari tribe, the strongest of Wakanda's five tribes. But the Jabari never pledged allegiance to the kingdom."

"Wait—you're telling me Wakanda isn't unified?" Strange asked.

"No, the five tribes' structure is traditional. We don't forcibly make the Jabari submit," T'Challa clarified.

"So the tribe is autonomous?" Captain America raised an eyebrow.

"Yes," T'Challa confirmed.

Thor speculated: "Could it be the independent tribe? Outside your royal control, they could act freely."

"No, not M'Baku," T'Challa said firmly. "The Jabari live in the mountains, leading a secluded life. They aren't involved in Wakanda's affairs, including Vibranium mining or transport."

Tony summarized: "So the tribe is effectively isolated from Wakanda?"

"Correct. They rarely leave the mountains," T'Challa nodded.

M'Baku's possibility was slim.

"What about W'Kabi?" Thor asked.

"W'Kabi leads a border tribe, one of four loyal to Wakanda. They're trained soldiers stationed at the frontier—they're Wakanda's first line of defense," T'Challa explained.

Strange asked: "So they check incoming and outgoing goods?"

"Yes, part of their duty," T'Challa confirmed.

Captain America added: "So if this tribe turned rogue, secretly smuggling Vibranium would be possible."

T'Challa disagreed: "Theoretically possible, but I trust W'Kabi wouldn't do it."

Tony concluded: "Belief isn't enough. Let's leave this option pending. What about N'Jobu?"

T'Challa's expression grew complicated.

Scott noted: "He's not ordinary."

"He's my uncle, the previous Wakandan prince," T'Challa revealed.

Everyone understood why T'Challa looked troubled—no one wants to consider a family member a traitor.

Captain America asked: "Even if he's your uncle, we need to confirm—could he be involved?"
