Synopsis
After spending two years in London with his mother, Mio finally returns to his home country — Velvarra, a seemingly ordinary place… until school begins. Reunited with his distant older sister Rio, who still locks herself in her room all day, Mio dreams of having a normal sibling bond. To get closer to her, he transfers to her school — Aegis High — hoping that maybe, just maybe, he can understand her strange silence. But something is seriously off about the school. One class period is mysteriously marked with a ★ symbol, and when it comes, every student rushes to hidden rooms near their classrooms. Inside, Mio sees something no one would believe — an arcade machine waiting in silence. And when students insert a strange coin… they vanish. On his turn, Mio hesitates — until Teacher Lily calmly urges him on. As the coin drops, the arcade machine roars to life. A door opens. And what he sees is not a game — it’s a massive coliseum, a glowing battlefield packed with students from other schools, all wearing strange uniforms, all ready to fight. A booming voice echoes above: “WELCOME AGAIN, STUDENTS… TO BATTLE PLATFORM LIVESTREAM!” Now, Mio is trapped in a system where students fight for power, fame, and secrets far beyond the school gates. And the biggest shock of all? His sister is the reigning queen of the arena.

Chapter 1 - CHAPTER: WHAT IS THIS?!

"COME ON!!! COME ON!! COME ON!! FIGHT ME—HA HA HA!!"

"RIO! RIO! RIO!" Everyone screamed like their lives depended on it.

"GO DEFEAT HIM, CAPTAIN!!"

"Relax, you guys. I'll beat him easily," Rio said confidently with a cocky grin.

Standing tall in the center of the arena, Riina raised her glowing staff. "BOMBASTIC LIGHT!" she shouted, blasting a beam of pure energy toward her opponent.

"Not so fast, princess," RAPHAEL replied coolly, dodging with ease.

"WHATTT?!"

Commentator: "AND RAPHAEL JUST DODGED RIO'S POWERFUL ATTACK WITH NO SWEAT!!"

"WHOOOOAAAAA!!!"

The crowd exploded with wild cheers.

Mio winced. "Ouch, my ears..."

"Sorry, Mio! I got too excited! But aren't you excited too?!"

"Yeah, come on," Jack added. "Mio, bro, we're watching our school's strongest seniors go all out! This is insane!"

"Oh... yeah. I'm excited..." Mio replied weakly.

"You don't sound like it, but hey—next it's us! We have to prove we're the best too!"

"Yeah..." Mio muttered, still in disbelief.

He couldn't take his eyes off his sister. The same sister who always locked herself in her room— Now she was a superstar in front of the whole school?

And worse, she was smiling, laughing, and fighting like it was nothing.

But the weirdest part... Why does the school even have a place like this? Who the heck hired a live commentator?!

EHHHH?!?? What kind of country is this?!
