Sophia was suspicious "why?"
"Because you have great potential and you're imaginative,the card contains a million,it's just for your personal use,the store will be filled by next week and you can start working"
Sophia blinks,this girl Infront of her was just saying everything at once,she nods slowly "how do you know I have potential"
"Because Wang wouldn't find you if you didn't" 'plus I've known you before you knew me'
Sophia looks at the card thoughtfully
"I'll send you a contract,just give me your number and your address" Cassie said while bringing out her phone,it looked new and it seems she had bought a new one instead of using the old one
The two exchanged contacts and even though Sophia had doubt,she couldn't help but feel that this was her opportunity, meanwhile Cassie went back home,she packed all the clothes in her wardrobe into a traveling bag and arranged the one she bought,it was already 4 and so Cassie took a shower,dressed in a unisex suit,she looked at the traveling bag and sighs then steps out of the room
Her parents jaw almost dropped when they saw Cassie,mark who happened to be coming down with Lisa saw this back profile and frowned,this days when Cassie had slept,her hair grew to it's real height (reaching her knee) even Lisa thought something was off
Cassie had already reached down fully,she looked at her parents up and down and said calmly"you two look great" hearing her compliment,the two snapped out of it and immediately became embarrassed and happy while Lisa and Mark were even more shocked when they heard the voice
Mark could feel his heartbeat becoming faster as him and Lisa went down the stairs
Cassie saw them and raised a brow,the two were wearing matching color and style but one was a tuxedo and the other was a gown,she didn't compliment and just turned back to her parents who were still bathing in Cassie former compliment
"Mom,dad,I'll drive alone"
They both nod like teens giving support
Mark was disappointed that Cassie wasn't looking at him and Lisa also felt the same way
"Sis,are you going there like this"
Cassie glanced at her and hummed
"But, aren't you suppose to wear gown" Mark said while staring down at Cassie shoe,it wasn't even a high heel but unisex business shoes
Cassie shakes her head and starts walking
"You guys should leave Cassie,she looks good in what's she's wearing so let's go before we're late" Divine said while already following behind Cassie
They had arrived at the party early
Cassie was busy tasting each dessert,only a few people were around but after almost an hour the place became crowded, people gave glances to Cassie,some admiring while some dumbstruck
If a guy goes to meet her,she'd give them a cold glare and say the simple two words 'not interested'
Everyone avoided her table after realizing how cold she is,after a few minutes, Cassie got up and started eating a few extra more dessert
A lady was passing by while crying and almost fell and poured her drink on Cassie but Cassie had already taken a few steps back
The lady falls on the fall,a part of her body had drag the cloth on the table, causing the desserts to fall on her
Cassie was the only person standing close,she looks down coldly at the girl and brings out her hand
"Are you okay?" The lady looks up at Cassie,her eyes glittery with unshed tears as she takes Cassie hand
"I'm fine" the girl voice cracks slightly,the girl glances behind her and soon Cassie understood
