After the rumors were dealt with, Sienna had nothing much to do. Rowan still hadn't returned, and she wanted to find him, but she couldn't figure out where he was.
In the afternoon, Sienna heard a knock on the door. "Knock knock knock."
She went to open the door and saw it was Deputy Wu and a police officer she didn't know.
After the door opened, Wu Wen stepped forward and introduced, "Comrade Sienna, this is Comrade Wang Qingming from the police station. He's here to give you the reward and a letter of appreciation."
"Comrade Wang, this is Comrade Sienna."
As soon as Wang Qingming saw Sienna, he froze. She was so beautiful.
Wu Wen noticed Wang Qingming's dazed expression and frowned. He didn't like it. It was inappropriate for a man to be staring at a female comrade, especially when she was the wife of one of his soldiers.
"Comrade Wang Qingming, what are you doing?"
Hearing Wu Wen's shout, Wang Qingming quickly snapped out of it. Seeing Wu Wen's unhappy expression and Sienna's calm demeanor, he realized his mistake and apologized immediately, "Sorry, I was rude. I shouldn't have stared at a female comrade. I apologize."
Wu Wen didn't say much after hearing this. He didn't want to make it a big deal and cause trouble for Sienna.
Sienna just quietly looked at him, not saying a word. Her gaze made Wang Qingming feel embarrassed.
Wu Wen spoke again, "Comrade Sienna, may we come in?"
"Sure, come in."
After letting them in, Sienna sat down across from them, waiting for them to speak. Wang Qingming didn't waste any time and handed over two envelopes to Sienna.
"These are the reward and letter of appreciation for catching the criminals last time. The reward is 500. Please take it."
Sienna took the envelopes, glanced at them, and said, "Alright, thank you."
Seeing her calm demeanor, Wang Qingming didn't stay longer to avoid any awkwardness. He decided to leave.

She remembered that her pension from splitting the family a year ago was only five yuan. Now, she felt like a wealthy person and decided to save all the money for Rowan to spend.
Meanwhile, Meilin and Teacher Yuxia, both having received rewards, decided to visit Sienna. They met at the door.
"Meilin."
"Teacher Yuxia."
They smiled at each other. Meilin said, "Looks like we have the same purpose."
Teacher Yuxia replied, "Haha, yes, exactly."
"Knock knock knock."
Hearing the knock, Sienna put the money away and went to open the door. Seeing them, she immediately called out, "Sisters, come in and sit."
After letting them in, she went to get them some water.
"Sisters, why didn't you bring the kids?"
"Those little rascals are sleeping. Waking them up would be troublesome."
"Exactly, Xiao Hao thought he could play, but he's a little troublemaker. Now that he's asleep, I can relax a bit."
After chatting, the two handed Sienna an envelope.
"Sienna, take this."
Sienna took the envelope and asked, "What's this?"
Meilin explained, "This is the reward from the police station. We thought it was yours since you helped us. We didn't do much, so we're giving it to you."
Upon hearing this, Sienna immediately returned the envelope to them. "What's given to you is yours. I already have my own reward. No need to give me yours."

"Yes, that's what Teacher Yuxia means. Please accept it."
Sienna said directly, "No need. Since the police gave you the reward, then it's what you deserve. I'm also close with you both, and our husbands get along well."

"Sis, no buts. If Rowan doesn't come back, I still need to eat at your house. Don't tell me you don't want me to come over?"

"Alright then. You two can go back now. The kids will wake up soon. I'm planning to take a nap too."
"Okay, we'll head back first. Don't forget to come for lunch later."

After they left, Sienna planned to take a nap. As soon as she entered the room, she heard someone jump over the wall. She quickly went out and saw Rowan standing in the yard.
"Wifey, you didn't nap?"
"Why didn't you knock? Why are you climbing over the wall?"
They both asked at the same time.
Rowan quickly walked up and hugged Sienna. "Wifey, I thought you were sleeping and didn't want to wake you."
Sienna hugged him back. "Hubby, I missed you so much."
"I came back now, didn't I? I missed you too."
He never noticed it before, but during this mission, he couldn't stop thinking about her—worried she wasn't eating or sleeping well, worried she couldn't get used to the new environment.
So he finished the mission faster and rushed home. He should've arrived at midnight, but he left last night without resting.
"Wifey, go rest. I need to take a bath, I'm really dirty."
"Okay"
Rowan quickly fetched water and took a bath. When he came out, Sienna had already made noodles for him.
"Hubby, come eat some noodles to fill your stomach first."
"Okay, thank you wifey"
He sat down and quickly started eating. After eating, he washed the bowl himself, then returned to the main room, picked up Sienna, and carried her to the bedroom.
"Wifey, sleep with me for a while. I didn't sleep at all last night. I'm so tired."

Rowan quickly fell asleep. Hearing his steady breathing, Sienna also closed her eyes. When she woke up again, two hours had passed.
Sienna looked up and saw that Rowan was still sleeping, so she didn't move. She quietly stayed in his arms, afraid to wake him.
She didn't believe he only missed one night of sleep. Looking at the dark circles under his eyes, he probably hadn't rested well in a long time.
When Rowan woke up, he checked the time. It was late afternoon. He looked down at his wife in his arms and kissed her.
"Wifey, you're awake. Why didn't you wake me? You must be hungry. I'll go cook dinner."
He got up and started washing up to make dinner. Sienna followed him into the kitchen to help.
Seeing her trying to help, Rowan handed her a garlic bulb and found a small stool.
"Be good and sit here to peel garlic for me. I'll need it soon. Don't go inside the kitchen."
"Oh, okay."
Soon, dinner was ready.
