Kai's POV
The fragments of what happened last night lingered with electrifying sensations keeping my body alive. I tried to hide it with a pokerface, but Zane hangs around like a shadow. All I could do is ignore him, or I'll end up initiating a kiss that would surely make him jump.
It's still five o'clock in the morning, and the employees usually arrive by eight. Zane was comfortably lying on the long couch, his arms under his head, his eyes fixed on me, and he was whistling like he was so happy.
Of course. He got what he wanted. He made me surrender.
And yes, I enjoyed every moment of it. I can still feel the tingling sensations in my body. I can still feel the soreness. His kisses, his touch, everything.
My heart felt full. I feel content, happy, and light. Like I finally gave myself a chance to breathe. In his arms.
He was now singing a sweet song unlike the first time I heard him sing. It was good to hear him sing. I think I'd become addicted to his deep voice.
