A sudden realization came inside of Grayson. He felt no ground beneath him.
He was entrapped successfully. He needs to save himself now, otherwise it will be too late. He knew that.
He started walking backwards, trying to get away from there, because if anyone saw him in such a position, then there would be big… Big… trouble for him.
As Mrs. Richard saw him trying to get away. She threw herself at him, and they both fell to the ground.
"Help me….. AHHHHHHH.....". She yelled.
"Get off me; let me go!". Grayson said, hearing the footsteps of people approaching the room.
Mr. Richard slammed the door open, and everyone else was charging inside the room.
Everyone was shocked…
Emery, standing behind the crowd, forced her way and came forward.
She couldn't accept the situation in front of her.
Her mother is naked with Grayson, her inner tears torn apart and crying out loud.
Grayson knew that he was in big trouble. He was caught red-handed, and now there was no way he could get out of this.
Grayson's heartbeat raced while he stood there with no movement, stunned like the world had stopped. His jaws were frozen, unable to speak a word…
"You Scumbag…". Mr. Richard swung his fist, hitting it straight into the jaws of Grayson.
Grayson was unable to dodge; the punch knocked him out, pushing himself against the wall, and he fell to the ground.
Mr. Richard's face was red. He grabbed the collar of Grayson and scuffed her outside the mansion where the police were already there waiting for him.
"Mr. Grayson, you are under arrest for sexual assault and attempting to rape Mrs… Richard". The Police came…
"No, I didn't do anything". Grayson begged for mercy, but it was of no use. The police put handcuffs on him and threw him in the car.
"We have proof and eyewitnesses that you attempted to rape Mrs… Richard. Say in front of the court if you want to say anything". The officer said, grabbing him from behind.
The betrayal stabbed Grayson's heart, and he found it hard to breathe.
His vision shook, but he quickly covered her mouth with his left palm as he burst into tears.

The Next Day. Grayson was brought to Liberty Falls Criminal Court. The court was packed with respectable citizens of the city.
Richard's family were also there waiting.
The police took Grayson in handcuffs and told him to stand in the defendant's box. His face was totally red, covered in sweat and tears. How can someone stoop so low?
In a moment, the judge came, and everyone stood in their chairs. "Begin the trial of the accused, Mr. Grayson". The judge banged his gravel.
The judge moved his eyes around, but he couldn't see the lawyer.
"Where is your lawyer, Mr? Grayson?". The judge asked, looking towards Grayson.
"I do not have any money to afford a lawyer". Grayson murmured in a low voice. His tension can be well perceived in his voice.
Meanwhile, the prosecutor was standing there. He was a tall young guy who was the most prominent lawyer in the city.
Jordan Steele had never lost a case in his entire career.
"I am dead". An inner voice came out of Grayson as he caught sight of Jordan.
The judge ordered me to bring Mrs. Richard into the witness box. Mrs. Richard came with her eyes burning red because she had cried hard.
"OMG! What a cunning lady". Grayson's jaw dropped seeing Mrs. Richard.
Obviously, she was faking it, but who would believe it?
"Mrs. Richard, do not hesitate and tell everyone what exactly happened to you". Jordan spoke.
Mrs. Richard took a deep breath, drops of tears coming out of her eyes.
"Yesterday, we held a birthday party for my husband in the garden. I called Grayson to come and help me pack my gift. He preyed on me, knowing that everyone was outside the house". She sobbed, wiping her tears from her cheeks.
The people sitting in the hall erupted, cursing Grayson.
"He tied my hands and tore my dress. " If everyone had not come there on time, he would have.....".
She cried out loud and left the witness box.
Grayson went pale. He felt vomit coming out of his mouth. His heart pounded out of his chest. His mind raced continuously, trying to figure out anything that could help to save him now.
He couldn't find a way to defend himself. Obviously, he was trapped very keenly, so that he may not get out of this even if he wanted to do something.
"No, She's lying. This was not what happened. She is trying to set me up. Please believe me."
"Stop right there; otherwise, I will smack your head so hard that you won't survive, bloody filth…". Mr. Richard roared from the crowd.
"Silence, please! Be mindful that you are sitting in court". The judge banged his gravel.
"Mr. Grayson, you have to prove your contentions in court; otherwise, it's of no use," Jordan said smilingly, knowing Grayson had no proof of what he was saying.
Grayson caught the sight of Emery sitting there. Disappointment can be seen clearly on her face.
Mrs. Richard smirked a little while looking at Grayson and holding Emery's hand.
"Ohh.. Now I know. " They have planned it… They have all planned it". Grayson's mind told himself.
"Even Emery is also involved in all this…". His heart was torn to pieces.
The girl he loved and cared for so much was also the one who betrayed him and smacked him in the face.
"Do you have to say anything, Mr? Grayson?". The judge said.
"If I say I have not done anything, would you believe me?". Grayson replied," Rage clears in his eyes.
Grayson felt helpless. His mind raced continuously, trying to find a way to get out of the situation. The only person he loved the most had also betrayed her.
"On account of all the evidence and reasoning of this court, Mr. Grayson is held...."
