Chapter 2 - Chapter 1 part 1

"I thought I had never seen the day."

"I really did. After all, he had been quite a coward."

"It's strange really."

"To see him act out... And finally do something. It was quite strange in my opinion."

"After all I thought I expected nothing from him."

"Well I was wrong in the worst way possible. He finally got his hands stained. And he didn't stop there—he hurt me too."

"And still I can't half hear with my broken audio receptor."

"..."

"I better fix that damn thing later. After all, I can't afford to go without hearing things. Of course, I also need to bandage up my hand—that white fragger Starscream really took a chunk out of it."

A towering Cybertronian, standing over 11 meters, rose to his feet and looked down at the ground that was filled with solitude and dust. It had a strange sense of unease yet a fulfilment of silence. The blazing heat strike his once-healthy face, long since tainted. It was rugged and cracked with thin lines as his glazed over optics looked around the finally quiet earth.

"It's strange—Terra is finally quiet."

"I'm not used to this silence."

"But I better get going. I had a long moment to myself."

Silently and calmly, he stepped across the path that was filled with sand, rock and muck. He cradled his injured hand—it had once been healthy, but now it was dry and rough. His slow, deliberate footsteps pressed into the muddy path.
