'This human's life energy surpasses all the humans I've encountered combined,' she thought. 'To instantly kill Paiku, a squadron leader, is unprecedented.
This human is exceptionally strong.' Zazan smiled coldly. 'Decided. This human won't be offered to the Queen. I'll enjoy him myself.'
"Ready?"
Hisoka's voice suddenly cut through the air. He raised his hand and beckoned Zazan with a casual flick of his wrist.
Zazan's smile vanished instantly at Hisoka's nonchalant gesture.
"A mere human!" she hissed. "You dare address me with such an attitude?"
Instantly, Zazan disappeared. Hisoka's eyes narrowed slightly at her incredible speed. "Impressive speed. Excellent! Far faster than those insects I fought earlier."
The audacity of being compared to an insect caused Zazan's temples to throb.
"Arrogant human! You merely killed Paiku. You dare underestimate me?" she snarled. "I'm not some… soldier like Paiku. I'm a Squadron Leader. You foolish human will soon understand the consequences of addressing me with such disrespect."
She lashed out with her scorpion tail, aiming a swift strike at Hisoka.
Hisoka let out a ghostly chuckle. His figure, like a streak of light, vanished before Zazan's attack.
Her strike missed. Zazan froze, a bead of sweat trickling down her forehead.
'He dodged it!' she thought, stunned. 'That human dodged my attack!'
Hisoka's voice echoed, "What are you looking at? In battle, never take your eyes off your opponent!"
Bang! Reappearring to Zazan's right, Hisoka landed a powerful punch on her face. A violent explosion of Nen followed, sending Zazan flying.
Behind them, Balda and the others, still reeling from Zazan's incredible speed, stared wide-eyed and open-mouthed at Hisoka.
The sudden appearance, the explosive speed—it was beyond comprehension. They hadn't even registered Hisoka's movements, yet he'd sent their enemy flying. They were completely unprepared.
'This… this is too strong!' Cold sweat poured down Balda's back.
He thought fearfully, 'If I had faced that attack, I wouldn't have been able to dodge it.
Yet, he dodged so easily and counterattacked instantly. Is this the level of a top-tier Hunter?'
Overwhelmed by Hisoka's power, Ponzu couldn't help but exclaim, "Incredibly strong!" Being with such a Hunter provided an indescribable sense of security.
Zazan, having been sent flying by Hisoka's punch, rose from the ground, clutching her face. Seeing the blood on her fingers, her eyes filled with rage, her hand trembling.
"You dare…" she roared, her voice filled with furious rage. "…injure my face?!"
Her furious roar sent chills down their spines. Her aura was far more dangerous than before.
Balda gulped. "Did we enrage her? Should we all attack?"
Pakunoda glanced at him disdainfully. "If you want to die, go ahead and interrupt Hisoka's fun!"
Balda turned to Hisoka, freezing in place. Hisoka was laughing—laughing more maniacally than before.
Why was he laughing maniacally after enraging his opponent?
Didn't he see that his opponent's aura had become even more terrifying? Balda watched, his eyes wide and unsteady, as Hisoka's laughter intensified.
"Ahahahahahaha!"
Hisoka, letting out a strange laugh, used his right hand to smooth back his disheveled hair. His sharp gaze locked onto Zazan.
"Ah! Excellent! An opponent like you is superb."
"Though you're just an insect, you've already excited me."
Zazan, seeing Hisoka's amusement, leaped forward, her scorpion tail lashing out at him with a ferocious strike.
'He dared… he dared to injure my face!'
'Unforgivable! Absolutely unforgivable!' Zazan's rage burned fiercely. Hisoka, however, found her fury exhilarating.
Moving with incredible agility, Hisoka sent his playing cards flying towards Zazan during a gap in her attack.
The cards struck Zazan, but despite her Nen, the fragile cards couldn't pierce her skin—a resilient blend of insect carapace and human flexibility.
"Die!"
Dong! Zazan unleashed her full speed, relentlessly pursuing Hisoka, her tough scorpion tail lashing out with venomous barbs.
Their figures blurred into a whirlwind of motion, their clashes echoing with explosive force.
The intensity of their battle left Balda speechless, his mouth agape. Ponzu and the other companion were equally shocked. This seemingly human monster possessed strength far surpassing most humans. But Hisoka was even more terrifying.
They had expected him to struggle to keep up with his opponent's speed, but Hisoka seemed completely at ease, toying with his enemy, not truly engaging in serious combat.
Balda had no desire to intervene. Hisoka's strength completely overshadowed his own; he couldn't possibly help.
Ponzu slowly glanced at Pakunoda. 'No wonder his companions aren't worried. This Hunter's strength is terrifying. Such power—even within the Hunter Association, few could match it.' Ponzu silently retracted her gaze, returning her attention to the battle.
Balda's other companion, however, couldn't help but whisper in awe,
"Such terrifying power… There couldn't possibly be anyone stronger!"
Pakunoda and Baise exchanged knowing smiles.
