Chapter 15 - Chapter 15: The New Member Of The Council.

Finally, Omega Alpha entered the room; in the center was a massive, circular chamber bathed in ethereal light. In the center of the chamber stood five figures, each radiating an aura of immense power. They were the Council. All of the Council members noticed Omega entering the room, and one of them spoke.

"What is the problem, Miss Omega? You called us all here..." Ouro Kronii said in a serious expression as all of the Council waited for her to respond.

Omega Alpha bowed her head slightly in respect before addressing the Council. "My apologies for the summons, Council. I have come to inform you that the Higher Gods have approved the recruitment of a new member to our ranks."

A ripple of surprise and curiosity went through the assembled Council members. Hakos Baelz, the embodiment of Chaos, tilted her head, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Ooh, a new playmate? Do tell, Omega, who's the lucky soul?"

Ceres Fauna, her expression gentle and serene, spoke next. "A new member? How intriguing. I hope they possess a deep respect for the balance of nature."

Nanashi Mumei, usually lost in her thoughts, seemed to snap to attention. "A new guardian? Perhaps they will bring new insights to civilization."

Tsukumo Sana, her voice echoing with the vastness of space, rumbled, "Space is ever expanding. A new perspective would be… enlightening."

Ouro Kronii, ever the stern and watchful guardian of time, narrowed her eyes. "A new member must understand the weight of responsibility that comes with wielding such power. Time is not to be trifled with."

Hakos Baelz stood up to her seat, with full of energy, and spoke. "What is the gender of the new member? Is it a girl or a boy? If she is a girl, I hope she is cute..." She said excitedly.

Omega Alpha shook her head and spoke as she met their gazes, her expression unwavering. "No, it's not a woman, but a man."

All of the Council members were surprised to hear Omega Alpha's words that their new member is a man. A collective gasp filled the chamber, knowing that their new member is a man. A being known for his raw power, his disregard for authority, and his penchant for destruction? This was a controversial choice, to say the least. "A man..." Hakos Baelz said in a shocked tone.

Hakos Baelz chuckled, a manic sound that sent shivers down the spines of even the most powerful beings. "Oh, this is going to be fun! A guy, I hope he is cute?"

Ceres Fauna smile warmly, her serene expression clouding over. "A man, this is the first time a man joined us, I hope he is friendly..." She said calmly.

Nanashi Mumei also spoke, her two Owl feathers twitching. "Will he uphold the principles of civilization? Will he be a force for progress or destruction?"

Tsukumo Sana hummed, her voice low and resonant. "Does he understand the vastness of space? Does he comprehend the insignificance of individual lives within the grand cosmic tapestry?"

Ouro Kronii remained silent, her eyes narrowed in suspicion. Time would tell if this new member was worthy of the Council's trust or not, but time would tell itself.

Omega Alpha turned towards the massive door. "He is ready. I will bring him in." With a final glance at the Council, she strode towards the door, ready to present the Destroyer of Worlds to his new teammates. The air crackled with anticipation, the Council bracing themselves for the storm that was about to enter their ranks.

Brian revealed himself in the front as he walked to Omega Alpha's side, his white coat moving in the air. He finally stopped and glanced towards the five Council members; he folded his arms, and his expression was deeply frowned, as if he was angry.

All of the Council members looked at Brian with a surprise expression on their faces, as a blush appeared on each of their faces. The five of them noticed that Brian was extremely handsome, with the only problem being that he had an angry expression on his face. Then they looked at his appearance, especially his height, and noticed that he was very tall. He stood approximately 195.58 cm (6'5"). They also noticed that Brian was very muscular and had some scars on his body; they can definitely say that he went through something intense.

They also studied his appearance carefully. Brian wore a sleeveless, long, open white coat with blue spiky lines on the edges, reaching almost to his knees, revealing his well-defined muscular torso, six-pack abs, and muscular arms. A large scar ran from his right shoulder to his left waist; he also had an X-shaped scar on his left shoulder and a smaller scar on his left bicep. He wore long blue martial arts pants and a long blue headband. His spiky black hair, tan skin, onyx eyes, and thick, defined eyebrows were striking features. A brown, hairy wolf-like tail trailed behind him. White and blue armored gauntlets covered his forearms, and white and blue armored greaves extended from his knees to his ankles and feet.

Brian also noticed the glances of each of the council at him. As he raised his eyebrows, his angry expression didn't waver. Even though Brian is not really fond of girls, he can tell that these five women were indeed beautiful in their own rights. But he doesn't care about that, as he is more interested in training and fighting stronger opponents than being interested in women. As all of the Council members looked at Brian, all of them had different reactions towards his appearance.

Hakos Baelz, being the chaotic one in the group, only grinned excitedly as the blush on her face disappeared.

Ouro Kronii, being the slightly serious one of the group, couldn't help but give a smile and thought to herself. "What a cutie..." She thought, as the blush on her face didn't disappear as well.

Ceres Fauna, Tsukumo Sana, and Nanashi Mumei only remained silent, as they only blushed heavily.

Omega Alpha continued. "This is our new member..." She said in a stoic expression. "His name is Brian Bautista, formerly known as the Fist of Fury, and a former shinobi mercenary for hire. Now, he will be known as the Destroyer of Worlds."

"Now, since you know his name, I want you all to introduce yourself to him, both your names and titles..." Omega Alpha said in a stoic expression.

The five Council members exchanged glances, a silent conversation passing between them. Hakos Baelz, never one to shy away from chaos, bounced forward with a wide, mischievous grin. She raised her right hand and spoke. "I'll go first... My name is Hakos Baelz, but you can call me Bae! I'm the Harbinger of Chaos, the rat of destruction," She said confidently, as she added more. "I am a bringer of chaos, the embodiment of pure dishonor, and pandemonium of physical form!" She said towards Brian with a big smile, while Brian stood his ground with folded arms.

All of the Council reacted to Bae's introduction. Ceres Fauna, Nanashi Mumei, and Tsukumo Sana all giggled at Hakos Baelz's introduction. Ouro Kronii only facepalmed but also smirked at the end. Brian raised an eyebrow at her fancy introduction, looking unimpressed. He glanced at Hakos Baelz's appearance and noticed that she is the smallest in the group. Her height was around 149 cm (4'11"). He glanced at her appearance, studying it.

Hakos Baelz's overall design reflects a controlled asymmetry, pairing chaotic visual elements with a deliberately curated look. Her hair is bright red, pulled into two voluminous pigtails tied with white bands. A white streak runs through the front bang on the left side. She has large, pink mouse ears on the top of her head and a long, thin tail ending in a blue ribbon, further reinforcing the rodent motif.

Her clothing consists of an off-the-shoulder white crop top emblazoned with the word "RAT" and small whisker graphics beneath it. The top's sleeves are color-blocked and oversized, with the right sleeve red and the left sleeve yellow, each terminating in large, teal mitt-style gloves with a paw-like pattern. She wears a short, flared skirt composed of alternating black, white, and red panels, and her right thigh is adorned with a black strap. Beneath her top, her innerwear is shown as a black, wrap-style bandeau top.

Her legs are mismatched in design: the left leg wears a yellow-and-black patterned stocking while the right leg remains bare, except for a red oversized sock that matches the color of her right sleeve. Her shoes are black platform footwear. A small, stylized red character representing Mr. Squeaks, her mouse mascot, is also featured, along with a simple yellow Chaos Toy side bag.

The back view shows additional structural details, including a triangular red emblem at the collar and a full view of her tail, which extends freely from the lower back. Her gloves, shown separately, appear to be detachable and are designed with cartoon bear or rat faces and paw details.

As Hakos Baelz was done introducing herself. Ceres Fauna stood up from her chair, her movements graceful and serene. A warm, earthy aura emanated from her as she offered a gentle smile. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Brian Bautista. I am Ceres Fauna, the Avatar of Mother Nature. I hope that we can work together to maintain the balance of the world." She said in a more gentle tone that Brian could even hear.

Brian's frown deepened as he observed Ceres Fauna. He frowned, not because he found her stronger than him—he is stronger than her; in fact, he is the strongest in the room—but because of her warm, calm, and gentle aura. It's very unnerving; it's a type of unnerved that crawls to your skin. He studied Ceres Fauna's appearance and noticed that she is the third tallest on the Council, her height is around 164 cm (5'5") tall.

Ceres Fauna has wavy light green hair that gradients to bluish-green at the tips that falls below her shoulders; the locks on her left partially cover her eye. Her hair is decorated with several white five-petal flowers. Fauna has antlers that look like tree branches with some leaves on them. She has yellow eyes and a beauty mark below her right eye.

Ceres Fauna wears a short blue dress decorated with golden ornaments. Over it, she wears a white overcoat also decorated with golden elements and a semicircular cut in the edges, which inner layer is pink with a flower pattern. Her coat is decorated with a blue bow complemented with a gem in the same color. She uses an ornamental golden belt decorated with light green roses and blue gems that look like water droplets. On her left leg, she uses a white long sock with golden outlines. On her right leg, Fauna uses a golden bangle. Fauna is barefoot. Fauna can also hold a levitating golden apple and remove her coat's sleeves.

As Ceres Fauna was also done with her introduction towards Brian. Nanashi Mumei stood up as she smiled innocently towards Brian and spoke. "Nice to meet you, Brian Bautista, Destroyer of Worlds..." She said softly, and as she was about to sit, a thought popped into her mind. "Wait, d-did I not tell you my name, did I not introduce myself? I will do it right now if I didn't..." she said with a worried face. "I'm sorry; I have a bit of a memory problem," She said towards Brian, as Brian raised his eyebrows, while the Council giggled at Mumei's forgetfulness. "I'm Nanashi Mumei... Guardian of Civilization. I hope you will help protect what we have built," She said with an earnest expression on her face, her owl feathers twitched in the air.

Brian raised an eyebrow at Mumei's introduction, looking unimpressed. He can tell that Mumei is forgetful and an airhead. He glanced at Mumei's appearance and noticed that she is the second smallest in the group. Her height was approximately 160 cm (5'1"). He then glanced at her appearance, trying to understand it carefully.

Nanashi Mumei has long, light brown hair tied into a high ponytail with a black hairtie accessorized with two brown feathers standing up in a "V" shape. Her eyes are brown with a yellow gradient and a light reflection. Her eyebrows are short and soft-angled. She wears a white blouse with puffed sleeves, tan corset lacing, and ruffled trim. Over the blouse is a brown corset-like piece with gold detailing and a small blue string across the waist. Her short red skirt has ruffles and is paired with a brown symmetrical outer skirt that extends from her corset.

Her legs are covered with mismatched black stockings: the right side is a thigh-high paired with a plain thigh strap right above it, while the left side is a shorter stocking with a matching strap below her knee. Her accessories include a brown and beige feathered cape with dark scalloped designs and teal lining on the interior, attached at the back. Mumei also wears gloves that are fingerless on her index and pinky fingers. She has a belt wrapped around her waist with a lantern, pouch, and small dagger inside a red and gold sheath around it. She wears brown heeled ankle boots with red interior lining and a gold heel accent. Friend flying beside her is a paper bag with a drawn mouth and a plaster shaped like a cross on his face.

As Nanashi Mumei finished her somewhat flustered introduction, Tsukumo Sana gracefully rose from her seat. The room seemed to grow slightly brighter as she stood, the air around her shimmering with starlight. "Hi there, Brian Bautista..." She said with a big smile. "I am Tsukumo Sana, the Speaker of Space. Nice to meet you; I trust our collaboration will be… expansive."

Brian only looked at her with raised eyebrows with a serious expression. He could tell she is the easy-going one among the rest of the Council. He noticed that she was the tallest amongst the Council, he guesses her height was around 169 cm (5'7"). He then glanced at her appearance. He also noticed her skin colour, as her skin is brown, unlike the rest of the Council. Brian also has tan skin, so it's not a big deal to him. He then glances at her appearance.

Tsukumo Sana wore a white, sleeveless minidress with a dark blue neck strap and a bright blue, star-patterned overskirt, complemented by a dark blue ribbon and a planetary-themed, crescent moon-shaped power limiter belt around her waist. She has long blonde hair in twintails with large, multicolored balls as hair accessories. She has golden eyes and tanned skin with a pink swirly-shaped antennae sticking out of her head. She wears no shoes, has blue nail polish, a gold anklet on her left foot, and knee-length whitish-brown hair in twintails with white, pink, and blue bead hair ornaments resembling sanshoku dango. Her outfit also features a gold anklet on her left foot and a bright blue bow on her back, with her large, planetary true form being a major theme in her design.

Finally, Ouro Kronii stood up, her gaze piercing and unwavering. A sense of authority emanated from her, a testament to her dominion over time. "Brian Bautista," She said, her voice firm and measured. "I am Ouro Kronii, Warden of Time. Remember that every action has consequences, and time waits for no one. I suggest you choose your actions wisely." She said in a stoic expression, but deep inside, an intriguing expression revealed towards Brian.

Brian frowned at what she said and thought. "Is this bitch threatening me?" He thought, still in a serious expression. He then noticed that she is the second tallest on the Council, around 168 cm (5'6") tall. Then he glances at her appearance with a serious expression.

Ouro Kronii has a unique headpiece consisting of a halo-like structure with concentric circles and what appear to be clock hands extending from the center. Her dark blue hair is styled with side pieces that frame her face. She sports a white top with a deep V-neckline that reveals a hint of cleavage. A light blue bow with a circular ornament is placed at the center of the chest. Her shoulders are adorned with ornate, layered pauldrons in shades of gray and white, with ruffled edges. She wields ornate golden weapons that resemble stylized clock hands or keys. She has a high-waisted, pleated skirt with vertical black and white stripes. The skirt appears to have a cutout or asymmetrical design on one side. A flowing blue cape with a darker blue lining is draped over her shoulders, adding a sense of drama and movement to the outfit. She wears black tights or stockings that cover her legs entirely. Her shoes are dark blue with white accents and a circular gold embellishment, matching the color scheme of the outfit.

Brian remained silent, processing each of their introductions. "Chaos, Nature, Civilization, Space, Time, and then Destruction... Hmph, what a fucking combo..." He thought to himself, as a smirk appeared on his lips. He then used his chakra to sense everyone's power. As he is done, he can say that he is the strongest in here, as he can easily defeat these five girls without even trying, and even if they all gang up on him, they would not stand a chance. Except for Omega Alpha in his side, as he can sense her power that only rivals his full power of his base form only.

Omega Alpha stepped forward, her stoic expression unchanged. "Now that introductions are complete, let us proceed with the briefing, but before we start. Brian Bautista, do you have anything to add?" As Omega Alpha said this, all of the Council wanted to hear his response, especially his voice, since he never talked during the whole introduction.

Brian glanced towards Omega Alpha, and then at the rest of the Council with a serious expression, his arms still folded. "None, let's get this fucking over with already..." He said in an annoyed expression.

All of the Council were surprised to hear his comments, especially the way he talks to Omega Alpha. Omega Alpha nodded and said. "Alright then, you will sit there..." She said, pointing at his seat next to Ceres Fauna and Tsukumo Sana.

Brian glanced at his seat, as he noticed that he is sitting to Ceres Fauna's right and Tsukumo Sana's left. Without hesitation, he walked towards his seat, his long coat and tail moving in the air, his expression still angry. The Council followed his every step, as they also noticed that he has a hairy brown wolf-tail on his back. As Brian finally reached his seat, he sat down still carrying that angry expression and folded his arms, and remained quiet.

All of the Council looked at Brian as he sat next to Ceres Fauna and Tsukumo Sana, even Ceres Fauna and Tsukumo Sana remained quiet as Brian sat next to them. As Brian took his seat, he still carried the frown he had on his face earlier. Seated in his chair with folded arms and an angry expression, he remained quiet, leaning back into his chair. They wondered if something happened on his way here to make him look so pissed off, as the atmosphere of the room turned quiet for a moment. All of the girls could tell that he is a tough guy, with a bad boy personality or perhaps a person with a short temper. But despite the angry expression on his face, the five of them find him attractive, because of his handsome appearance and muscular physique. Even Ouro Kronii, who is serious in the group, but deep inside, she is also interested in Brian like the rest of the Council.

But before one of the girls could break the silence, Omega Alpha continued. "Now that that's done, shall we start?" She said to the six of them. "Technically, this meeting was supposed to be a team mission between the five of you. But since Brian was hired by the Higher Gods to join the Council, your mission has been moved to tomorrow... Today is just an introduction to your new member, Brian Bautista..." She said to them all.

The Council exchanged glances, a mix of curiosity and anticipation swirling in their eyes. While Brian raised an eyebrow, but remained quiet in his seat. Hakos Baelz, ever the instigator, leaned forward, her rat-like tail wiggled with excitement and undisguised interest. "Oh, a team mission, that will be fun..." She said excitedly. "So, what exactly are we going to be doing with our mission with... Brian, tomorrow?" she asked, her mischievous grin widening.

Omega Alpha spoke in a stoic expression. "That will be discussed tomorrow..." She said towards all of them.

Ceres Fauna, ever the mediator, offered a gentle smile towards Brian. "Whatever our mission tomorrow is... I hope we can all get along with our new member of the team." She said softly towards Brian, as she gave a warm smile. Brian on the other hand just ignored what she said, and just stared straight ahead, still carrying that frowned expression.

Nanashi Mumei, ever the peacemaker, chimed in with a gentle smile, "I'm sure we'll all work together wonderfully! As long as we remember to communicate and be patient with each other... and, uh, as long as I remember what we're supposed to be doing," she added with a nervous giggle, clutching Friend a little tighter.

Ouro Kronii, ever the voice of reason and discipline, regarded Brian with a calculating gaze. "It is imperative that we establish a clear understanding of each other's capabilities and limitations. Time is a precious resource, and we cannot afford to waste it on misunderstandings or inefficiency." Her words were firm, but there was a hint of underlying curiosity in her tone. She was, after all, Warden of Time, and the introduction of a new element like Brian into the Council's dynamic was something she couldn't help but analyze, especially since his title is Destroyer of Worlds, she wondered where and why he was given that title.

Tsukumo Sana, with her ever-present smile, simply radiated positive energy. "I'm excited to see what kind of cosmic adventures we can all get up to together! The universe is vast and full of endless possibilities, and I'm sure Brian will bring a whole new perspective to our team!" She punctuated her statement with a cheerful clap, her multicolored balls ornaments bobbing with the movement. She winked at Brian, trying to lighten the mood.

Brian, however, remained unmoved. The Council's attempts at camaraderie washed over him like a gentle tide against a stone wall. He shifted in his seat, his wolf-tail twitching slightly, and finally broke his silence, as a vain pump up to his head.

"Spare me the fucking pleasantries." He said in a cold tone that resonated in the room. "Just get to the fucking point already miss Omega, I'm starting to lose patience here..." He said towards Omega Alpha, with an annoyed expression, as his frown deepened even more.

The Council was taken aback by his bluntness, even Hakos Baelz's mischievous grin faltered slightly. They were shocked by the way he talked to Omega Alpha like that, none of them talked like that to Omega Alpha, only him. Omega Alpha, however, remained unfazed.

"Very well, Brian," Omega Alpha replied, her voice retaining its calm and measured tone. "I understand your eagerness to proceed. I will brief the mission to you all tomorrow... before Brian joined you, I know you five already have team missions in the past, but this mission will be your mission as all six... But that we will discuss it tomorrow, today you are all be dismissed..." She said towards all of them. "Oh, and Brian, come with me, I will show you to your room."

Brian scoffed, pushing himself up from the chair with a disgruntled grunt, his long coat swirling around him and his wolf-tail swaying rhythmically, as he followed Omega Alpha out of the room. The Council watched them go, a mixture of apprehension and intrigue hanging in the air.

The Council members fell silent, each lost in their own thoughts about Brian Bautista, the mysterious and enigmatic Destroyer of Worlds. He was an unknown quantity, a wildcard in their carefully balanced dynamic. Whether he would become a valuable ally or a destructive force remained to be seen.

Hakos Baelz, never one to let a moment of silence linger, piped up, "Well, that was... something! I haven't seen anyone talk to Omega like that before." She said with a wide grin.

"Indeed," Ouro Kronii replied, her gaze still fixed on the now-empty doorway. "His… disregard for protocol is concerning. But," she added, almost as an afterthought, "it is also… intriguing." She said with a smirk.

Ceres Fauna sighed softly, a worried frown creasing her brow. "I hope we can find a way to work with him. His attitude is… challenging, to say the least. He seems to be carrying a heavy burden with him." She said in a calm tone.

Nanashi Mumei, ever optimistic, chimed in, "Maybe he's just having a bad day, because he seemed pissed off about something? I'm sure once we get to know him, he'll warm up." She said towards her teammates. "I hope he doesn't destroy everything... I mean, that's his title, right? Destroyer of Worlds?"

Hakos Baelz raised an eyebrow and spoke. "Yeah, he is... he is indeed titled the Destroyer of Worlds. I wonder where he got that title, though..." She said with an intrigued expression.

Ouro Kronii with a calm expression spoke. "Maybe it's due to his mercenary life, like what Ms. Omega said earlier, he is a shinobi mercenary for hire. If I'm right about Shinobi's or ninjas, they are masters of assassinations. Maybe that is the reason why he is given a title like that, and I'm guessing he killed many people before being part of the Council."

Tsukumo Sana, who had been listening intently, chimed in with her usual cheerful tone. "Well, whatever the reason, I'm sure we can find a way to connect with him! Maybe he just needs a friend!" She said optimistically, clapping her hands together. "Besides, think of all the amazing stories he must have! Destroyer of Worlds, Shinobi mercenary... it sounds like he's lived a very interesting life!"

Ceres Fauna, however, remained unconvinced. "I hope you're right, Sana," she said softly. "But I can't help but feel like there's something more to him than meets the eye. Something... dangerous."

Hakos Baelz, ever the instigator, grinned mischievously. "Dangerous, huh? That just makes him even more interesting!" She cackled, her rat-like tail twitching with excitement. "I can't wait to see what kind of chaos he'll bring to the Council!"

Ouro Kronii, with her ever-present air of authority, spoke up, "Regardless of his past or his attitude, we must remember that he is now a member of the Council. We have a responsibility to work together, whether we like it or not. Time waits for no one, and we cannot afford to waste it on petty squabbles or personal animosity."

Nanashi Mumei nodded in agreement, her expression serious. "Kronii's right. We need to give him a chance. Maybe he's just afraid or insecure. We should try to be welcoming and supportive, even if he doesn't seem to appreciate it."

As the round table went into deep silent again, as each one of them tried to think how will they interact with Brian tomorrow, especially with his rude attitude. Then an idea popped out of Hakos Baelz, as she grinned happily and announced it to the rest of the Council.

"Hey guys, I have an idea... how about we follow Omega Alpha and Brian to his room, like you know, stalking him..." She said with a big grin.

The other Council members stared at Hakos Baelz, a mixture of shock and amusement on their faces. Ceres Fauna's eyes widened, and she gasped softly. "Baelz! We can't just stalk him! That's… that's a violation of privacy! Besides, what if we get caught?" She said worriedly.

Hakos Baelz waved her hand dismissively. "Oh come on, don't pretend that all of you don't find him attractive, huh... this is our opportunity to know more about him." She grinned mischievously, her rat-like tail twitching excitedly. "Especially those muscles he has, I wanted to know where he got that physique."

Ouro Kronii raised an eyebrow, a hint of amusement flickering in her eyes. "While I don't necessarily condone such… clandestine activities, I must admit, I am curious about Brian Bautista as well." She paused, considering the possibilities. "However, we must proceed with caution and ensure that we do not compromise our positions or breach any established protocols."

Nanashi Mumei fidgeted nervously, clutching Friend a little tighter. "I too agree with Bae and Kronii, I also wanted to know more about him. If only he could just smile, and don't always show his scary face all the time, he will look cute." She said, fidgeting her fingers.

Tsukumo Sana, ever the optimist, chimed in with a cheerful tone. "Well, it could be an opportunity to learn more about him! Maybe stalking him is not a bad idea at all! And besides, it could be a fun bonding experience for us!" She clapped her hands together, her multicolored hair ornaments bobbing with the movement.

Ceres Fauna remained hesitant, her gentle nature clashing with the idea of invading someone's privacy. "I still don't know, guys... it just doesn't feel right. What if he finds out? He already seems to have a short temper." She wrung her hands, her worry palpable.

Hakos Baelz, sensing Fauna's apprehension, softened her tone slightly. "Alright, alright, calm down, Fauna. We won't go all-out stealth mode or anything. We'll just… observe from a distance. Make sure he settles in okay. Think of it as a 'welcoming committee'… a very, very discreet one." She winked, trying to lighten the mood.

Ouro Kronii, ever the strategist, stepped in to provide a more practical approach. "If we are to proceed with this… endeavor, we must establish some ground rules. First, we must maintain a safe distance and avoid direct contact with Brian. Second, we must prioritize discretion and ensure that our actions do not draw unwanted attention. And third, we must be prepared to abort the mission at any time if the situation becomes too risky."

Nanashi Mumei nodded eagerly, her initial hesitation replaced with a sense of excitement. "Okay, okay, I can do that! I'll be super quiet and careful! I promise!" She clutched Friend even tighter, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.

Tsukumo Sana, with her usual boundless enthusiasm, clapped her hands together. "This is going to be so much fun! It's like a cosmic adventure, but in… a hallway!" She giggled, her multicolored hair ornaments bobbing with the movement.

Ceres Fauna, still slightly uneasy, sighed in resignation. "Alright, fine. But if we get caught, I'm blaming all of you." She crossed her arms, her worry still lingering in her eyes.

Hakos Baelz grinned triumphantly, her rat-like tail twitching excitedly. "Alright then, operation 'Get to Know Brian' is a go! Let's move out, ladies!" She hopped off her chair and gestured towards the door, her mischievous energy contagious. Hakos Baelz raised her hand with a burst of energy. The rest of the Council raised their hands as well, displaying different reactions on their faces: Tsukumo Sana with a surge of energy, Ceres Fauna with a calm expression, Nanashi Mumei with a warm smile, and Ouro Kronii with a more subdued energy.

The five Council members, a motley crew of cosmic entities, stealthily made their way out of the meeting room, their footsteps hushed, their intentions a mixture of curiosity, intrigue, and a healthy dose of mischievousness. As they crept through the corridors of the Council's headquarters, they couldn't help but wonder what they would discover about the enigmatic Destroyer of Worlds, and what kind of chaos he would bring to their already unconventional lives.

Meanwhile, Brian followed Omega Alpha through a series of winding corridors of The Realm of The Gods (The Collective Unconsciousness). The sterile white walls offering little in the way of decoration or visual interest. He remained silent, he looked down, his expression unchanged, both of his hands were in his pockets, he walked behind Omega Alpha. His mind was a whirlwind of irritation and suppressed power. He still couldn't believe he had to team up with a bunch of girls. He thought that when he agreed on joining the Council, he would be by himself. But no, he have to work with five annoying girls. He wanted to be alone since he was used to being alone all the time, especially after what happened to his past. He only hoped he would not get irritated by them.

As they reached the hall, Brian raised his head, as he noticed five rooms in the corner. He looked toward his surroundings, he thought these might be the rooms of his teammates. After what seemed like an eternity, Omega Alpha stopped in front of a large, imposing door, on the side of the other rooms. She turned to Brian, her expression still stoic. "This will be your domain, Brian. It has everything you need. If you require anything else, do not hesitate to ask." She said calmly.

Brian only folded his arms, his serious expression on his face. "What about the other rooms, where do they belong?" Brian asked, referring to the other rooms.

Omega Alpha turned towards his surroundings and spoke. "They are the rooms of your teammates..." She said in a stoic expression.

Brian, still folding his arms, his expression unchanged, grunted. "Hmph, I knew it."

Omega Alpha then reached out and placed her hand on the door, and as soon as she did, the door opened automatically. "You may rest. Tomorrow, we will discuss the details of your mission. Come to the meeting early okay, I won't tolerate lateness."

Without another word, Omega Alpha turned and walked away, her footsteps echoing down the sterile hallway. Brian watched her go, his eyes narrowed slightly. Once she disappeared around the corner, he turned his attention to the open doorway.

But before Brian could enter his room, he then shouted loudly making the five stalking girls hear him. "I fucking know you're there, hiding in the corner... show yourselves or we will have a problem..." He said in an angry expression, as he glanced at the corner where they were hiding.

The five Council members froze, their faces a mask of surprise and apprehension. Hakos Baelz's mischievous grin vanished, replaced with a sheepish expression. Ouro Kronii's eyes widened slightly, a rare display of shock. Nanashi Mumei squeaked and hid behind Tsukumo Sana, clutching Friend for dear life. Tsukumo Sana's usual cheerful smile faltered, and even Ceres Fauna groaned, burying her face in her hands.

Slowly, reluctantly, they emerged from their hiding spot, their expressions a mix of embarrassment and sheepishness. Their eyes fixed on Brian's imposing figure, they noticed his intimidating expression, a type of expression as if he was going to murder someone in cold blood. He stood there, arms crossed, his wolf-tail twitching impatiently, his gaze piercing and unforgiving.

Hakos Baelz was the first to speak, forcing a nervous chuckle. "Heh, well, this is awkward..." She said with an awkward smile.

"We can explain," Ouro Kronii added quickly, trying to regain her composure. "We were merely... ensuring your transition into the Council went smoothly. A welcoming gesture, if you will."

Brian scoffed, his arms still folded, his expression unchanged. "Spare me the bullshit. I know a stakeout when I see one. What the FUCK do you want?" He glared at them, his eyes narrowed, his wolf-tail twitching slightly.

Ceres Fauna, ever the mediator, stepped forward, her hands clasped together. "We just wanted to get to know you better, Brian. We know you're new here, and we wanted to make you feel welcome."

Brian scoffed at her words and spoke. "Well sorry to disappoint you, Mother Nature... But I'm not here to make friends, nor am I interested in having one." He said coldly towards her and the rest to make them understand. "I have my own fucking reason why I joined the council, and making friends is not one of them, so go piss off to Omega Alpha and leave me the fuck alone."

Tsukumo Sana's usual cheerful smile faltered, and even Ceres Fauna looked genuinely terrified.

The Council members recoiled at Brian's harsh words, their faces falling with disappointment and hurt. Even Hakos Baelz seemed taken aback by his venomous tone. Ouro Kronii, however, maintained her composure, though a flicker of annoyance crossed her features.

"While I appreciate your… candor, Brian," Kronii said, her voice measured, "I must remind you that we are a team now. We may not be friends in the traditional sense, but we need to be able to work together effectively. Your attitude is… less than conducive to that."

Brian simply sneered at her. "I don't need a fucking lecture from the Warden of Time itself. I'll do my job, and that's it. Don't expect me to hold your hands or sing kumbaya around a campfire. Now, if you'll fucking excuse me, I have to rest to be ready for our mission tomorrow, I have no interest in entertaining your childish curiosity."

With that, Brian turned his back on the stunned Council members and strode into his room, the door slamming shut behind him with a resounding thud. The sound echoed through the hallway, punctuating the awkward silence that followed. The five Council members stood there in stunned silence, their faces a mixture of disappointment and embarrassment.

Hakos Baelz was the first to break the silence, her voice uncharacteristically subdued. "Well... that didn't go as planned," she muttered, scratching the back of her head.

"Indeed," Ouro Kronii replied, her voice tinged with a hint of annoyance. "It appears our attempt at diplomacy was... unsuccessful."

Nanashi Mumei peeked out from behind Tsukumo Sana, her eyes wide with concern. "Maybe... maybe we should just leave him alone for now? He seems really angry about something."

Tsukumo Sana nodded in agreement, her usual cheerful demeanor replaced with a more somber expression. "Yeah, maybe he just needs some time to himself. We can try again later, when he's feeling better."

Hakos Baelz, recovering from her initial shock, piped up with a mischievous grin. "Well, he's definitely a challenge! But I'm not one to back down from a challenge." She chuckled, her rat-like tail twitching with renewed excitement. "Besides, I'm even more curious about him now. What's with the whole 'I don't need friends' act? What's he hiding?"

Ceres Fauna sighed softly, her worry still evident in her eyes. "I hope we didn't make things worse. I just wanted to make him feel welcome, but it seems like I only managed to push him further away."

Hakos Baelz turned towards Ceres Fauna with a big smile and spoke. "Don't worry Fauna, I'm sure we will get to him eventually... he might need some alone time to get used to his surroundings..."

Ouro Kronii, ever the pragmatist, stepped forward, her expression firm. "Regardless of his attitude, we must remember that Brian is now a member of the Council, and we have a responsibility to work with him. We may not be able to force him to be friendly, but we can at least try to maintain a professional relationship."

Tsukumo Sana nodded in agreement, her usual optimism returning. "Yeah! We can't give up on him! Everyone deserves a chance to be happy, even the grumpy Destroyer of Worlds!" She clapped her hands together, her multicolored hair ornaments bobbing with determination.

Ceres Fauna, despite her reservations, couldn't help but feel a glimmer of hope. "Alright," she said, her voice firm. "We'll give him a chance. But we'll do it on our terms. We won't invade his privacy or force him to be someone he's not. We'll simply be there for him, if and when he needs us."

With a renewed sense of purpose, the Council members went to their respective rooms, next to Brian. They knew that working with Brian would be a challenge, but they were determined to overcome his animosity and forge a path towards a productive working relationship. After all, the fate of the cosmos might just depend on it.

Meanwhile, inside his room, Brian leaned against the closed door, his chest heaving with suppressed anger. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, trying to calm his racing heart. He hated being around people, especially those who tried to get close to him, especially a group of overly cheerful, nosy women.

Brian had learned long ago in the academy, that the closer you got to someone, the more likely you were to get hurt. He remembers that when he killed all of his classmates so that he could graduate from being a shinobi. He closed his eyes, trying to block out the memories that threatened to surface. Memories of loss, betrayal, and pain. Memories that had shaped him into the cold, solitary individual he was today.

Brian clenched his fist and thought, he muttered to himself, his voice barely a whisper. "Take some rest, and focus on the mission for tomorrow. That's all that matters."

But deep down, a small part of him couldn't help but wonder if these strange, persistent women might just be the key to unlocking the frozen emotions he had buried for so long. And that, more than anything, scared him. He had a mission, a goal, something he had to achieve at all costs.

With a sigh, Brian pushed himself away from the door and began to explore his new surroundings. The room was spacious and well-furnished, with a large bed, a comfortable seating area, and a state-of-the-art workstation. A large window offered a panoramic view of the Realm of the Gods, a breathtaking vista of swirling galaxies and celestial wonders.

But Brian barely noticed the beauty of his surroundings. His mind was too preoccupied with the task ahead, with the mission that had brought him to this strange and unfamiliar place. He just hoped that he could complete it without getting too entangled in the lives of his new teammates. Because if he did, he knew that he was in danger of losing something even more precious than his own life.

Brian turned away from the window and walked over to the bed. He sat down on the edge and stared at the floor, his mind racing with thoughts of his past. He had been through so much pain and suffering, and he didn't know if he could handle any more. He closed his eyes and leaned back against the headboard, letting out a long, weary sigh. He knew that he had a long and difficult road ahead of him, but he was determined to face it head-on. He was the Destroyer of Worlds, and he would not let anything stand in his way.

Brian slowly removed his gauntlets one by one, and when he was done, he put them on the ground. Then he did the same thing with his greaves, slowly removing them from his legs and putting them on the ground next to his gauntlets. Brian slowly began to stretch his sore muscles, groaning with each movement as he massaged his stiff muscles. The groaning eased into a series of satisfying pops and cracks as he worked out the knots in his back and shoulders.

Brian also massaged his tired leg muscles, feeling the pleasant burn in his thighs and calves. He could feel his tired muscles beneath his blue martial arts pants—a testament to the strenuous journey he'd endured, and all the battles he experienced. He felt a sense of grounding, a return to normalcy in the midst of the extraordinary. As he was done, he lay down on his bed, stared at the ceiling for a moment, and then finally closed his eyes, waiting for tomorrow to come.

To be continued.
