Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

The sun was shining through the windows of Kuoh highschool, and the setting was the office of the student council. Sona Shitori, the student council president, was apparently seething at the image before her.

Here was a boy with hair dyed blond, and his green eyes. Next to him was someone who was roughed up, scrapes and a little bruise. The blonde one was known as Yuuki Himenawa, and the other was a boy by the name of Tomo Hideyoshi.

"Yuuki...." she growled as she gazed at the boy with blonde hair. He was a known delinquent and seeing him in her office felt like a victory, maybe she would take action just this once, just this once.

But it was the fact of her own principles, the principles of her people that stayed her hand. No needless action, that was the key to their secrecy.

"What is it president?" he said without an ounce of respect, not even using the title respectfully, nor even adding a respectful San. He was a thug through and through.

"You know what it is, and the fact you don't even care that your actions could end in suspension at the least, expulsion at the worst!" she shouted and the rest of her comrades seemed to stop pretending to work just to gaze at the drama unfolding. Perhaps it was her dream to open a school that fueled this reaction, but right now she was angry.

It wasn't even the first time he was in the office, yet he didn't even care.

Her gaze casted over to the other person present that was apart of the conversation. "Hey Momo, who reported the incident?" asked Sona to someone nearby. "I believe it was Hyoudou-san" said Momo with some disgust at the name.

"Ah, thank you Momo" said Sona as she fixed her gaze back at Tomo Hideyoshi, the victim of Yuukis action. He was a reserved boy, polite to all( even to the perverted trio), and was generally called 'The Pure King' on the Kuoh campus. So when someone noticed he was being attacked by one of the delinquents on campus ground, it was instantly reported to the office, by one of the perverted trio no less.

"Do you have anything you wish to add, anything at all?" Sona asked, her pen writing out an incident report. "No ma'am, but can I be excused for a couple days, I wasn't feeling well today and I would like to recover" asked Tomo in a calm voice for someone who looked liked he had a run in with a wrecking ball.

Sona gave him a look over as she nodded, making a note to fill out a leave form for his absence. "You may leave Tomo-san" she uttered with politeness and with a hard stare, one that seemed to cause a chill in Yuukis spine, said "Stay here".

Tomo was walking quietly to his house. The house, of course, was empty as his parents weren't exactly around. Killled he believed, but their was no case for them as far as he could remember. He felt his mind being crept upon a hazy feeling, but he strayed his thoughts away from the subject matter and entered his house and went to his room.

He changed into something more comfortable as he laid down in bed, hoping to take a small nap.

A couple hours have passed, and Tomo was still asleep in his bed, his mind being assaulted by dreams of weapons and stuff he has never seen or heard of before. However, something even more mysterious ways the flapping of wings high above his house, the sky now dark and dotted with stars.

A man covered in a trench coat and wearing a beaten fedora, and a girl with dark hair and dressed in a dark dominatrix outfit gazed at the house with eyes full of hostility.

"Is this the house?" asked the girl fallen angel, Raynare. "The energy signature matches" said Dohnaseek. They were offered something valuable in exchange for eliminating a threat, a high schooler who is barely an adult. It felt like a lesser win for Dohnaseek, but he has no more shame to give.

"Alright, lets get this over with, I have other plans to get too" muttered Dohnaseek as he and Raynare raised their hands towards the sky and motes of light began to emerge from their hand and merge into a pillar. The area was of course warded off and various perception based barriers in place to keep away unwanted guest.

"Begone"

With that single word, the house was engulfed by a pillar of light, lightly damaging the house, yet the guest inside was disintegrated, atleast they thought he was.

Deep beyond the cosmic reaches of the world, beyond all worlds lay an entity known as the infinite Treasury. It was an entity that many stood to gain but could never find for it hid itself, waiting for something, for someone.

It had searched many worlds before finding somebody, its destined master. Before the boy was destroyed by the ray of light, the Treasury took what remained of his body and his intact soul into its confines, and began to process of binding.

Tomo awoke with a start, a lingering sensation of burning pain and a painful white light was fresh in his mind. The pain, while phantom, was excruciating. However clouded his mind was, he was still aware enough to register he wasn't were he normally should be.

He was in a bed that was way to extravagant than his normal one, and the room he was in was utterly foreign. It felt like a bad trope in a book, but it was his truth now. It seemed filled with many things that the young man might enjoy.

Books, comics, junk food and soda of all kinds, ramen and ramyeon( he was into Korean spicy noodles), and even an authentic version of journey to the west in Chinese( he hasn't read it yet). It seemed like a dream, a dream that was too realistic to deny it as a dream.

"I guess I should explore" Tomo thought outloud as he opened the door into an expansive hallway that led to another door at its end. The hallway was carpeted, and had vases with alive flowers every couple feet or so, each on different.

Roses, Lillies, sunflowers, snap-dragons, and even his favorite, daisy which he named his digital pet after.

The other door was made of oak and the door was brass. The door seemed of good make to Tomo, though that was purely at face value. Tomo twisted the knob and it opened up into a lake side house. The confusion was evident on his face, and he was about to get the surprise of his life.

"Hello!"

The voice caused Tomo to jump and fall flat on his back. He could not pin point the voice speaking until he spotted a vague figure who seemed somewhat invisible. Skin as blue as sapphire, the eyes a lighter blue like a computer, and a featureless, adrogynous body that seemed to be a perfect mix of both sexes.

The figure seemed to faze out until it appeared in front of Tomos face, causing him to blink with a blank look.

"Hello master, glad to see your okay!" it said cheerfully, the words registering in Tomos mind as he sat up and accidentally knock it in the head( Ow!).

"Master?" Tomo touched his head as he said the word with great curiosity. How could he be a master? He was as poor as a rock and he had no wealth to speak of. In plain speak, he was too poor to be a master.

"That's what you are, master of the treasury" said the mysterious being as it did a pose that was supposed to be cute but it looked weirder instead. "What Treasury?" asked Tomo and the being sighed in dejection and began a long winded explanation of how he got here and the basics of the situation.

"So your saying, in as simplest terms I can manage, I am the owner of an entity that essentially contains an infinite amount of everything?"

"Yep"

"So, what else?" asked Tomo. "What do you mean?" asked the thing as it tilted its head. "What do you mean? Something like this has to come with a caveat of some sort" Tomo said with some exasperation( he apologized for it later).

"Well, there is no responsibility. Some beings may come to you for favors and what not, but you don't have to do anything, you are free as as a bird. I would suggest traveling the infinite cosmos, to see worlds beyond" said the thing.

'It sounds nice' thought Tomo, but he didn't really see a need to leave his homeworld. "Your thinking you don't want to leave huh?" asked the thing as it poked Tomos cheek. "Yeah, what reason would I have to leave? What about the people I might inconvenience?" he said with the spirit of someone who always wanted to be reliable.

"Wellllll...." Began the thing. "Your world is a lot more weirder than you think okay, like a lot weirder. So I would suggest learning all types of stuff in the infinite cosmos, like magic for example. I could drop you off in a world to learn magic if that is what you prefer" said the Thing.

"Really? I mean, I always wanted to use magic when I was younger, just never thought it was possible" said Tomo with rising excitement in his voice. "Well, in the right place its possible to learn magic, and I bet you are very 'suited' for the practice" said the thing.

Tomo was getting excited at the prospect of learning magic, maybe even manipulating his internal energy for energy blasts. A dream of all kids.

"So, have I got your interest, cause I have a world I think would be perfect for this, though it Is different from usual worlds based on western fantasy" said the Thing as it waved its ethereal hands and a rift opened in space. A portal glowing a luminescent gold, and I could even see a road hidden beyond it.

The smell even seemed to travel through, a sweet and fresh smell as if the world was untouched from the hands of industrialization. "So, what do you think? Do you accept the position of master, and all the power that comes with it?" asked the thing as it extended its hand.

Tomo didn't even think, the benefits were to great to pass up for a normal high school youth. Power and weapons beyond the wildest dreams, and worlds that others could only dream of exploring.

The feeling Tomo got when he made the deal was as if he was being layered in something, something beyond the divine.

"The feeling will go away, the Treasury is just bathing you in its splendor to mark you as the true owner and one with all access. Now, get going" said the thing as it pushed Tomo through with an audible thump as the golden gate closed, not before an ethereal bird plopped through.

"I really have chosen an interesting one huh?" said the thing as it chuckled to a joke known only to itself as Tomo began his journey beyond the world of his own.
