Chapter 100 - Marvin Mitchell heard it

"Dad, do you blame me for not visiting you all this time? I've wanted to come, but so much has happened lately."

Crystal Foster knelt in front of her father's gravestone, her eyes red as she gazed at the photo of him.

"Dad, I've managed to reclaim some parts of Foster Pharmaceuticals from Hyland Riley, but it's nowhere near enough."

She wiped away her tears. "He was the one who caused your death and pushed me down the stairs. I haven't even begun to settle this deep-seated grudge."

"Dad, I saved his daughter recently. I didn't want to, but I couldn't just watch an innocent life disappear in front of me. The child is blameless."

Her face was filled with resentment. "But they don't understand that. They'll do anything for money. Sometimes I really regret it. I should have listened to you and never married Hyland Riley. Then we wouldn't be separated by life and death."

"Dad, I know I was wrong, but you can't come back. Why did fate only bring me back?"
