Carlotta quickly left, using shrinking magic whenever she encountered a gap. After spending some time, she successfully escaped from the ruins of this Supreme God City.
Outside, Carlotta swept her gaze around and didn't see Amelia's figure. Her heart immediately sank.
"I'm here."
Before Carlotta could do anything, a voice came from afar.
Carlotta perked up and hurried toward the direction the voice came from, quickly swimming over and finding Amelia in a corner.
Amelia was unharmed. Seeing Carlotta, she said, "Earlier, I saw a strange person approaching from a distance. My instinct told me something was off about that person, so I hid myself."
She described the person's appearance, it matched exactly the remnant soul of the God of Eternal Darkness.
Carlotta didn't know what this thing truly was, so she could only temporarily refer to it as the remnant soul of the God of Eternal Darkness.
