Chapter 106: Emma's Call

Niels was back in Rotterdam getting his things together before travelling back to England. His backpack was starting to look worn after the trip, but he had managed to fit everything he needed inside.
He thought about everything he had seen and learned over the past few weeks. Milan, Genoa, Utrecht and Eindhoven had all given him different ideas about coaching. His conversations with Thomas and Erik had also given him plenty to think about, especially when it came to training, staff and developing young players.
His notebook was lying beside a book on football psychology. It was full of notes and ideas he wanted to take back to Crawley.
There was still a lot to do when he got home, but Niels felt better prepared for it than when he had left.
Outside the hotel, Rotterdam was already busy. Niels knew it would be one of his last quiet moments before heading back to England.
