Chapter 19 - A new world

It has been 20 trillion years since my family and I transcended, becoming gods of our old world and rulers over an infinite number of other worlds just like it.

Now, we live in another realm. This world is unlike anything we've ever seen—it is made entirely out of sand. Within each grain of sand exists a hyperversal structure of worlds, each one independent from the others, and each as vast as a universe.

This world lacks time, and its dimensional layers are uncountably infinite. Everything here—mountains, rivers, homes, even the very air—is made from sand.

And yes, my family and I are not the only ones who live here. Dragons, demon-human hybrids, and countless other strange creatures roam this place. Even the so-called mortals of Mu Xi are on par with the strength my family and I once held as gods.

What makes this place even more strange is that everyone here knows they are part of a story. Yet unlike most worlds, no one is bound by the narrative—they are free to carve their own path.

I even met the god who presides over this realm. His name is Li Xin, and he knows far more about this world than I do. I'll ask him more in time, but for now, my family and I will settle down, cultivate, and grow stronger.

Mu Xi feels entirely different from the world we came from—almost suffocating in its vastness. I can tell I'll need to push myself harder than ever before.

The locals call this realm Mu Xi, and it is said to be over sixty sextillion years old. As for its size? It cannot truly be measured—it is boundlessly larger than a universe.

Crazy, I know.
