It has been 46 trillion years since my family and I transcended our old world and stepped beyond existence itself. I became the god of this story—omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient. Nothing and no one within this tale could surpass me. Not even the author himself could control me anymore.
And then, one eternity later…
"Your story is over. You are no longer needed. From this moment on, you will be a single boundless being that I control and use for my bidding."
I asked, "Who are you?"
**"I am the Alpha and the Omega—yet I am also beyond the Alpha and Omega. I control not just you, but all of fiction. You and your story were nothing more than one boundless outcome of my presence, alongside all of fiction and all fiction yet to come.
You are boundless, yes—but still, you and your tale are a mere grain of sand within the boundless quarks of my avatar. Though you are omniscient and boundless, even you cannot comprehend my true body.
Your author was a byproduct of me. Your system was a byproduct of me. For I am the one who created every system, every power, every narrative design."**
I asked again, "What is your name, so that I may know the one who exists beyond boundlessness—beyond omnipotence, omniscience, and omnipresence?"
**"I am that I am.
I am not that I am.
I am power.
I am boundlessness.
I am, and will always be.
I am Zai Xi.
I am beyond the human mind.
And you… you are just a human who believes he has achieved true power, merely because he became boundless."**
Since that day, I have sat here outside existence, contemplating what it truly means to be boundless—and if there is a realm even higher than boundlessness.
You see, the human mind interprets "boundless" as unlimited, ever-expanding, and endlessly growing stronger. But that requires logic, and logic is only a tool for comprehending the universe and existence itself.
But what if there is a being beyond all human comprehension, beyond mathematics, beyond reason?
Would such a being still be "boundless"? Or would it be beyond boundlessness itself? Or perhaps a higher boundlessness—just as there are infinities greater than infinity.
Maybe all that we call "boundless" originates from the one true Boundless Being. And everything else—every so-called boundless god, every story, every power—is nothing more than a byproduct of that primal source, who existed before boundlessness even as a concept.
My story ended long ago. With it, my family's tale ended as well. Now, I sit alone outside of existence, watching the Narrative System ceaselessly spin more stories, more concepts, more boundless beings—while I remain forgotten.
This has been my life, for countless eternities.
