Chapter 274 - Chapter 277: Exposed Location

Chapter 277: Exposed Location

Sean watched the battling magical creatures with great envy.

But he knew very well that if he dared to make a move at this time, he would immediately become the common enemy of these magical creatures, and he might not necessarily be a match for them united.

That Mountain Troll Dragon and Re'em both had strength exceeding Sean's.

The Nundu's speed and agility were not inferior to Sean's either.

As for magic, the Thunderbird's lightning and the Occamy's freely transforming body were difficult for Sean to handle. He was confident he could subdue one or two, but if they all came together, even Sean would have to avoid their momentum. Charging head-on would be suicide.

Of course, if Sean used his Animagus form's Serpent King's Eyes, he might not be unable to severely injure them. But Sean had already sensed that Castelobruxo professors and Brazilian Ministry Aurors had arrived nearby. He didn't want to be noticed by those people. Moreover, this time Sean had come to help Kulkan. She should be the priority.

"Sean, let's go in, into that pyramid."

"Alright, but we need to wait a bit. Wait for the Brazilian Ministry Aurors to make their move."

As Sean's words fell, those Brazilian Ministry Aurors and Castelobruxo professors indeed attacked those magical creatures.

In their view, these magical creatures were the source of all the trouble. As long as they dealt with them, the remaining XXX-rated and XX-rated magical creatures wouldn't cause too much trouble.

But they obviously overlooked one thing. These magical creatures' hostility toward human wizards, plus the attraction of whatever was in the pyramid, made these magical creatures completely desperate with a mutual destruction mindset, resisting their capture.

There were only six wizards who came here, with others still patrolling and investigating elsewhere.

Six elite wizards should theoretically be able to handle most problems, but they faced nine XXXX and XXXXX-rated crazed magical creatures. As soon as both sides made contact, the wizards discovered they seemed unable to defeat their opponents. These magical creatures were like they'd been injected with adrenaline. What happened to the plan of resisting a bit before being caught, then being peacefully raised to live out leisurely, happy, useless later lives? Why were they working so hard? Was this workplace competition?

Sean cast a Disillusionment Charm and silently approached the Mayan pyramid ahead.

Just as he was about to sneak in, a ray of full moonlight suddenly pierced through the dark clouds and fell on the Mayan pyramid. Immediately, starlight burst from the pyramid, and countless runes formed by ancient magical text lit up, detached from the pyramid, and began rotating around it.

If it were only this, it naturally wouldn't affect Sean much.

But when this starlight fell, Sean's Disillusionment Charm was instantly dispelled, revealing him in the sight of all the magical creatures and wizards!

Looking at all the gazes directed at him, Sean's mouth twitched.

Tsk...

Big trouble!

The professors and Aurors were fine. Regarding Sean's sudden appearance, aside from wariness and inquiry, they didn't immediately attack.

But those magical creatures were different. The thing they were competing for needed to be activated inside the pyramid to restore to the form they needed, and only then could they begin competing for it. However, at this crucial moment, a human wanted to fish in troubled waters. Did he not take these XXXX and XXXXX-rated magical creatures seriously?

If they didn't deal with him now, what were they waiting for?

The Swooping Evil reacted fastest, appearing before Sean in the blink of an eye. Its body, like a Dementor or cloak, directly covered Sean.

Seeing the Swooping Evil pouncing at him, Sean raised his wand as white light blazed!

"Expecto Patronum!"

A white meteor instantly repelled the Swooping Evil.

At this moment, the Nundu also charged toward Sean.

If the Nundu had been prepared, Sean might not necessarily have been able to do anything to it. But in the Nundu's view, Sean was just a sneaky human. As long as it could get close to Sean, he would have no chance of survival.

However, when the Nundu was suddenly grabbed by the neck by Sean's outstretched hand, lifted up, and slammed hard against the pyramid wall, its head continuously smashed against the wall seven or eight times until it fainted, it finally realised this human wizard seemed different from what it understood.

Sean felt a strange lightness in his body, as if gravity had momentarily loosened its grip on him, allowing him to float just above the ground for a brief moment.

Looking at the panel notification, Sean helplessly curled his lips. This ability was better than nothing for the current Sean. Quite useless.

On the contrary, the Nundu gave Sean a small surprise.

A surge of predatory instinct flooded Sean's mind, followed by the phantom sensation of toxic miasma building in his throat before both sensations stabilised into something he could control.

Disease Spew was the Nundu's signature ability. If a Nundu freely spewed disease, it would take seventeen or eighteen wizards working together to easily subdue it.

However, the Nundu's Disease Spew ability wouldn't be used lightly unless pushed to a certain degree, as it took a very long time to accumulate disease once.

So when the Nundu charged at Sean earlier, confident it could kill him, it hadn't planned to spew disease at all. By the time it realised, it was too late.

Retreating some distance to avoid the Chimaera's serpent tail bite, Sean quickly rushed toward the pyramid entrance.

Seeing this, the Chimaera immediately wanted to pursue, but just then, a bolt of lightning struck it, directly blasting it away and knocking it unconscious.

Then the Thunderbird beat its six wings and actually flew close to the ground, following Sean's direction into the pyramid!
