My senses returned once the door was kicked open from the outside, and Avira appeared by it with Cedric right behind her.
Avira's eyes were widened in shock while Cedric's narrowed in anger.
My eyes first went to the lady with us, Gamma's daughter, and the memory of what we had just done instantly flooded my mind.

My eyes went back to Avira, and when I saw her eyes full of tears, my heart squeezed so tightly in my chest that I thought it would rip apart.
"The pain you felt was because your mates are having an affair with someone else." Cedric said, his eyes flashed to our direction at intervals, staring daggers at us.

Had our stupidity cause Avira any more pain?
