Chapter 10 - The One Who Walked Alone

"I don't walk in the footsteps of gods. I make them step aside."

— Rahul, during the Siege of Eternis

Scene 1: Flashback – 7,219 Years Ago

Location: War-Ravaged Galaxy, Sector 0 — Throne of Ashes

Context: A rebellion of god-tier beings — 14 of them — has united to dethrone Rahul, the First Emperor of the Void. He walks into their final fortress… alone.

The sky burned purple.

Ash fell like snow from dead stars. All seven god-tier constellations had aligned — something that hadn't happened in over 50,000 years.

And beneath their cursed light, one man walked through flame… barefoot.

Name: Rahul

Title: Emperor of the Void, First Godslayer, Origin of the Dominion

Rank: Beyond Classification

Status: Invincible

He wore no armor.

His black cloak, tattered by the storms of galaxies, billowed behind him like a flag from the abyss. His eyes—neither red nor gold—glowed like collapsing suns.

A voice crackled from the fortress before him.

"You came alone?"

Rahul looked up. His voice was soft. Calm. Eternal.

"Alone? You think this… is me at my weakest?"

Fourteen beings floated above him. Each a titan of reality.

One with time folded around his spine. One who held two stars in her palms like dice. One who had erased entire pantheons.

Together, they represented 80% of all recorded god-tier power.

Rahul?

Just stood there.

"This is your final warning, Void Emperor," one of them called.

"We rise to unseat you. You were not meant to rule."

Rahul's eyes closed.

"You think I'm ruling?"

He stepped forward. The entire planet screamed.

"I've been holding the universe together. You just never noticed."

Scene 2: Battle Begins – The Slaughter of Gods

A titan descended.

Rilok the Soul-Burner. God-tier. 4th-ranked in raw destructive force.

He summoned the Blade of Suns and cleaved downward—each strike meant to erase existence.

Rahul didn't move.

He raised one finger—

And Rilok's blade shattered like cheap glass.

Before anyone blinked—

Rahul was behind him.

And then…

"You swing stars like sticks. Let me show you what silence can do."

With a whisper of Voidflame, Rilok's body disappeared.

Not burned.

Erased from all timelines.

The other thirteen froze.

One whispered:

"He didn't even touch him…"

Rahul cracked his neck.

"Next?"

Scene 3: One vs. Thirteen

They attacked in unison.

Time froze.

Causality warped.

Gravity reversed.

Even death was suspended.

Didn't matter.

Because Rahul…

Broke time.

Literally.

He pointed upward and said:

"This version of the universe is annoying. Let me rewrite the rules for a moment."

Everything stopped.

Not time.

Everything.

The color. The light. The air. Their thoughts.

And when it resumed?

Five of them were gone.

No one saw how.

No one even felt it.

Only their absence screamed.

Scene 4: Final Three – The Cosmic Trinity

The last three god-tier rebels fused.

Vantheus, the Omnisurge Entity — a god formed from three warlords, a singularity of annihilation. Taller than a planet. Voice made of quantum screams.

"Even you can't fight us like this!"

Rahul looked up, expression unreadable.

"Who said anything about fighting?"

He snapped his fingers.

His shadow grew… until it enveloped the entire system.

And from that shadow, countless ghost-armies of Rahul's past victims rose.

Not as undead.

As memories.

They struck like guilt.

They moved like destiny.

And the entity?

Fell.

Crying.

Because even a fused god can't fight his own forgotten sins.

Rahul watched them die without speaking.

Scene 5: Aftermath — The Silence Returns

Ash fell again.

No one stood against him.

Rahul sat at the steps of the shattered throne. Alone.

Not because he'd won.

But because no one else was left.

Eon Thalor arrived late — much younger, much weaker.

He collapsed to his knees.

"You killed all of them…"

Rahul looked at him.

"No. They chose this."

Eon asked, voice trembling, "Why didn't you destroy the universe while you were at it?"

Rahul smiled faintly.

"Because that would be mercy."

Scene 6: His Final Words (Before the Disappearance)

Later, before he vanished from history, Rahul left behind a sealed message in the Vault of Names.

Only one line could be decrypted:

"Power doesn't define destiny. The courage to carry it does."

And then—he was gone.

No one saw him again.

Until now.

Scene 7: Return to Present – Kaien Feels It

Kaien jolted awake in the Dominion palace.

Sweat.

Voidflame flickering in his eyes.

A single word echoing in his soul:

"Remember."
