Chapter 13 - Chapter 11: A Master of Mischief Joins the Mayhem

The Jedi Temple had seen its share of disturbances—Sith threats, political intrigues, and galactic unrest. But nothing quite compared to the controlled chaos wrought by the Temple's youngest troublemakers: Naruto Uzumaki and Ahsoka Tano.

The duo had become a legend. Every Master and Padawan knew to keep an eye out when silence stretched too long or when corridors seemed too quiet. But the latest event sent shockwaves through the Temple not for what happened—but for who was involved.

That morning began innocently enough. Revan was walking beside Aayla Secura after a light sparring session when the silence was broken by a piercing squeal echoing through the east wing of the Temple. Moments later, Jedi Knights and Masters burst from rooms, robes dyed in a bright shimmer of color-changing dye—fluctuating between vivid pink and shimmering gold, depending on their mood.

But the true chaos came when the High Council's midday meditation was disrupted. As the Masters settled into silence, the chamber filled with serene chants. Then, all at once, the room plunged into complete darkness. When the lights came on, the statues of ancient Jedi had been… accessorized. Mace Windu's likeness wore glittery glasses. A bust of Master Odan-Urr had a party hat and a sticker reading "Voted Most Likely to Hug a Sith."

Yoda's statue? Wearing a fake beard and holding a sign that read: "Size matters not—but snacks do."

What shook the Temple wasn't the prank itself—but the fact that Master Shaak Ti, serene and usually above such chaos, had been seen sneaking out of the council chamber moments before the reveal, stifling laughter and dusted in glitter. Someone even claimed she high-fived Ahsoka.

The Temple buzzed. Padawans whispered in corners, Masters exchanged amused glances, and the archives recorded the day as: The Glittering Betrayal.

Naruto, of course, couldn't have been prouder. "Told you she had it in her," he whispered smugly to Ahsoka, who beamed beside him. "She's our secret weapon now."

Shaak Ti tried to maintain her dignity, but it was clear the joy in her eyes wasn't just from a prank well played—it was from being part of something mischievous, something light. Her bond with Naruto deepened that day, not just as a teacher or mentor, but as someone who saw in him a kindred spirit, bright and burning.

Of course, the Council had to respond.

Punishment was inevitable.

Shaak Ti was gently reprimanded but mostly with smiles. Yoda had merely said, "Hard to judge fun… but let us not dye the archives next time, hmm?"

Naruto and Ahsoka were ordered to reorganize the Temple's entire botanical garden, including personally trimming the monstrous root vines that were notoriously temperamental.

"And if the garden smells like pink bantha sweat again," Master Plo Koon said with his filtered drawl, "we will assume you have not learned your lesson."

"But Master," Naruto said with an innocent grin, "we're just enhancing the natural ambiance."

Ahsoka snorted.

Revan watched it all with a knowing smile. He didn't interfere. Not this time. The Temple needed this brightness. And he needed it too. With each laugh, each exasperated sigh from the Masters, he saw the darkness of the galaxy held at bay—if only a little longer.

And through it all, his connection with Aayla and Shaak Ti only grew stronger. They often crossed paths in the evenings, laughter trailing behind them like starlight, conversations lingering into the night. Revan was a Knight out of time—but these bonds made him feel present, anchored, and maybe… even hopeful.
