Chapter 15 - Chapter 13: Quiet Warnings

The Jedi Council chamber was solemn and still, the usual murmurs replaced by tense silence. Revan stood before the gathered Masters, his expression steady but grave.

Master Windu was the first to speak. "Master Revan, your visions are troubling. But the Council requires evidence before we can accept such claims. The Sith have been extinct for nearly a thousand years."

Revan met the eyes of each Council member. "I sense the darkness. The encounter on Tatooine was real. I felt the presence of a Sith Lord—powerful, focused, and ruthless."

Ki-Adi-Mundi folded his arms. "Without concrete proof, it is difficult to act on mere intuition. The Republic is already on edge with the Trade Federation crisis. We cannot risk panic."

Yoda's gaze was sharp, his voice low but firm. "Believe you, I do. Trust in the Force, I have. But cautious, we must remain. More evidence, we seek."

Mace Windu nodded slowly. "We will keep this discussion within the Council for now. No need to alarm the Jedi Order or the Senate until facts can be confirmed."

Shaak Ti and Aayla Secura exchanged glances, their faces unreadable. The weight of the situation was clear, but so was the desire to avoid unnecessary fear.

Revan bowed his head slightly. "Understood, Masters. I will continue my vigilance and training. If the Sith are truly returning, we must be ready."

Yoda placed a hand gently on Revan's shoulder. "Strong you are, but patient must you be. The future, not yet written it is."

As the meeting ended, the Council quietly dispersed. Outside the chamber, the stars glittered coldly over Coruscant.

Only Yoda's knowing eyes lingered on Revan as he left—the flicker of belief in a shadowed future.
