Professor X looked at his younger sister, Cassandra, lying on the ground. Time had left no trace on Cassandra's face, but Professor X now looked like an old man.
When he arrived moments ago, a sudden influx of memories overtook him—memories that didn't originate from his own mind. He had already seen Cassandra in his mental world.
He was certain now—the woman before him was his biological sister.
"I'm sorry I'm late. I've come to take you home," Professor X said gently, with a hint of remorse in his voice.
A flicker of emotion briefly passed through Cassandra's eyes, but it was swiftly replaced by her familiar indifference.
She rose slowly, her eyes sharp and penetrating, as though they could see directly into a person's soul. "You don't have to pretend. I've struggled alone in this world for too long. Do you really think your pathetic show of kindness will make me grateful?"
"And you might not remember, but I tried to strangle you in the womb with the umbilical cord. Unfortunately…"
She circled Professor X's wheelchair, her voice laced with provocation and madness. "My foolish brother, do you think any of this changes anything? I'm thriving in this world."
"You get to use your powers freely, do whatever you want. Isn't that better than going back? You have so much power, yet you let yourself be bound by the whims of ants. You limit your own powers, form your little playhouse team, and hide away in that pathetic school?"
"This is even more humiliating than killing me. In this place, I can be queen. No ants buzzing around my ears like flies. I refuse to be weak like you—afraid of losing control, afraid of destroying the world."
Cassandra held nothing but contempt for Professor X. Though he possessed the same level of power, his indecisiveness and compassion had only brought suffering to mutantkind—and led to near extinction. In her view, the murderers were the very humans Professor X insisted on tolerating.
Her anger spiked just looking at his face. If only mutants had followed her path, they might have at least survived. But under Professor X, they scattered like insects, fleeing only to be exterminated.
Professor X remained unaware of his own true nature, but Cassandra knew the truth. They were two sides of the same coin: he, the embodiment of good; she, the personification of his suppressed evil.
Meanwhile, Magneto stood to the side, his gaze shifting between Cassandra and the dark Wanda, analyzing the escalating tension.
To the Black Witch Wanda, Cassandra's sudden appearance was a complication. Wanda glanced at the heroes surrounding her, calculating her next move. A head-on fight wasn't ideal. Besides, she already had the Sling Ring she needed—there was no reason to remain.
She knew about the Time Crusher. Once she absorbed its energy, she would be unstoppable.
By then, not even Cassandra could stand in her way. No one could.
Without hesitation, Wanda opened a portal and vanished from the void.
Seeing this, the Deadpool from the main universe immediately rushed toward the portal, hoping to follow her back to his world.
Just as he reached out to touch the shimmering light, preparing to leap gracefully through it, fate intervened with cruel irony—the portal shrank abruptly and vanished.
Caught in motion, Deadpool flew through the air in an arc, crashing awkwardly to the floor with a heavy thud. His iconic mask stared up at the ceiling, dust swirling around him, filled with shock and regret.
"FXXXK! FXXXK!" he shouted, his voice echoing through the desolate space, brimming with frustration.
Turning over, he spotted Professor X and Cassandra still engaged in conversation. His irritation boiled over. In truth, Cassandra wasn't chatting—she wasn't even interested in wasting time with Charles!
"I'm telling you two—this is not the time for some lame family reunion! If you want to talk about your tragic childhoods, go to therapy!"
"Hey, Bald Witch! Didn't you see your enemy just left? Aren't you gonna chase her? Wanda—who's bleeding red like a horror movie villain—just went to my world!"
"F**K, my world's already a mess! Now it's got a genocidal witch on top of everything else! This is all your fault, you wrinkled witch! You better take responsibility!!"
"Mother FXXXK! Get me the hell out of here!"
Main-universe Deadpool's curses poured out like machine-gun fire, targeting both Professor X and Cassandra.
The Time Crusher was about to activate, and now Wanda was on the loose in his world. How could he not panic?
Cassandra never tolerated being insulted. She sneered coldly and flicked her fingers. A surge of energy swept toward Deadpool like a tidal wave.
But Professor X reacted immediately, unleashing his own psychic power. The two forces clashed in mid-air and canceled each other out.
"I'm sorry, Wade," Professor X said softly. "I overlooked your urgency for a moment. But don't worry—we won't let your world fall. And I won't let Logan's world be sacrificed either."
Professor X wasn't angry at the outburst. He understood Wade completely.
If the roles were reversed, he might've cursed even more—though he wouldn't have said it out loud.
"Don't worry," Professor X continued. "We've already pieced everything together from the Wade in our world. We'll take care of this."
"But the Professor X and mutants in your world are too weak," Magneto cut in coldly. "They actually died at the hands of humans. I want to see exactly what kind of humans would dare enslave mutants!"
His voice was filled with fury. To him, this proved he had been right all along. Had they followed Charles, mutants would've perished. Fortunately, they now stood with Alex Ray.
Thanks to Alex, they had more than mutant abilities—they had magic, knowledge, and a path forward.
"So, how do we get back? Tell me now!" Deadpool demanded, slightly calmer after Professor X and Magneto's reassurances. Despite his antics, he still respected the Professor.
"Calm down, Wade. You have to trust us."
"It's not like there's only one Sling Ring. We have our own too. Even if you don't trust the two of us, surely you trust the X-Men. Right, Logan?"
"And honestly, Logan in your universe didn't do such a great job either."
