Chapter 399 - Chapter 399 : The Age of Space Navigation Arrives

Not only had Emperor Thanos begun to take action, but even the militant factions under Emperor Doom and the Kang Dynasty had recently started mobilizing their forces in suspicious and unusual ways.

Their blatant movements, along with their aggressive military deployments, did not escape the notice of the top players in the Marvel Universe. From ancient, hidden organizations to rising cosmic alliances like the Guardians of the Galaxy, and even the Avengers, now under the leadership of Sorcerer Supreme Loki, the entire upper echelon was on edge.

Speculation and rumors spread like wildfire. Whispers of a grand conspiracy—one powerful enough to topple the balance of the universe—circulated across every galaxy.

Major powers, including the Collector himself, had issued high-profile bounties: anyone who could find Alex Ray—or someone carrying his legacy—would be handsomely rewarded.

The Collector promised any three items from his vault.

Emperor Doom swore to grant any one wish.

And Emperor Thanos? He made his intentions brutally clear.

"You want my treasures? You want to become the next me? Then bring me Alex Ray—or anyone tied to him. Dead or alive. If you do, everything I possess will be yours."

Suddenly, the entire universe was obsessed with hunting down Alex Ray.

Thus began a new age.

Future generations would call this day the start of the Age of Discovery—a time when the universe was thrown into a cataclysmic vortex. Peace and order collapsed, torn apart by the storm that followed the echo of one man's name.

And yet, Alex Ray himself remained unaware of the full extent of the danger. He knew he was being hunted—but not this hunted.

By then, he had already returned to Hell's Kitchen.

After the main universe versions of Deadpool and Wolverine defeated the Time Crusher, Wolverine—donning his iconic yellow suit—had become a temporal anchor for his universe.

With balance restored, main-universe Deadpool got a new lease on life. His scarred face was healed, thanks to Alex Ray. Tony Stark, intrigued by the device, purchased the remains of the Time Crusher from Deadpool—for a cool billion-dollar price tag.

It was a win-win. Deadpool got paid, and Stark got tech.

Deadpool used the money to reconcile with Vanessa, bought a luxurious house, and adopted a loyal pup named Deadpool Dog.

He even invited his old friend—Blind Al—to move in, so they could finally enjoy a slice of happiness.

(Yes, I've finished filming! But if the money's good, I'll be back!

Don't cry, dear readers! I left a surprise!

See you soon!

—Deadpool, waving goodbye, slapping his own butt before vanishing.)

As for the leader of the Deadpool Corps, leadership had shifted.

Yes—Deadpool of Hell's Kitchen had been positively glowing after hearing that Lady Deadpool had given birth to a child.

He didn't run.

He looked into her eyes and said sincerely: "Let me be the father. From now on, he's our son."

Lady Deadpool was deeply touched. Once Deadpool restored his good looks (with a little help), she eventually gave in.

The Deadpool Corps, however, were furious. Their beloved "big sister" had been stolen.

A few chaotic "friendly sparring matches" broke out between Deadpool and the Corps. After a string of victories and a final promise—he'd take them to Spider-Man's base to visit Peter Parker—they reluctantly accepted him as their new leader.

Now, proud as ever, Deadpool wanted to move the entire Deadpool Corps to Hell's Kitchen.

Alex Ray tried to say no.

After all, one Deadpool was chaos enough. An entire legion of Deadpools?

Hell's Kitchen might implode.

But Deadpool wouldn't stop begging.

And truthfully, the Deadpool Corps were a formidable force.

So Alex compromised.

He assigned a portion of them as security staff for Hell's Kitchen Community College.

Another group resumed work as contract killers, relocated to mainland hotels.

The final portion? They were handed off to the X-Men, tasked with helping construct Hogwarts—a sanctuary in Hell's Kitchen for mutants and the gifted.

With Professor X and the Punisher watching them like hawks, Alex figured the Deadpools wouldn't get too crazy.

Meanwhile, the mutants returning from the Void also began to settle in.

They were stunned.

Hell's Kitchen had changed.

Erica, in particular, wandered around looking dazed—and got lost more than once.

"You sure you actually live here?" teased Gambit, shuffling cards effortlessly between his fingers, the energy crackling at his touch. "You look more lost than us."

Erica offered a helpless smile, tinged with disbelief.

She scanned her surroundings. Everything was alien—new buildings, new faces, even the atmosphere felt different.

Where was the Hell's Kitchen she remembered?

Hell's Kitchen Community College? Hell's Kitchen Inc.? People flying on broomsticks?

And since when was Xavier's School based in Hell's Kitchen?

Magneto lived here now?

If she'd dared provoke this place before, she would've ended up dead.

Even the notorious Hand—the ninja clan—had apparently been wiped out in this universe.

The streets were now filled with sturdy, decent neighbors.

The drug addicts, gangsters, and dealers of old were simply gone.

It was unrecognizable.

Too powerful. Too organized. Too… safe.

She'd heard a rumor that Cassandra Nova was caught the moment she tried to act up.

And honestly?

That was a good thing.

Erica liked this new Hell's Kitchen. It felt secure.

She joined Wanda's company alongside Daredevil.

Blade drank with Wolverine daily.

Alex had originally planned for Gambit to help run the casino—but the man had other ideas. He wanted to perform, to dazzle, and instead became a full-fledged card magician.

X-23, the young clone of Wolverine, had been dumped straight into Community College by Professor X.

Now, Alex Ray found himself chatting with Wanda and Deadpool about a familiar, terrifying figure:

The Dark Scarlet Witch.

"Are you sure you saw her die with your own eyes?" Alex asked, concern etched into his face.

Something didn't sit right with him. Deep down, he didn't believe she was truly gone.

He felt it—they would cross paths again.

And he was right.

Somewhere far from Earth…

The Dark Scarlet Witch laughed maniacally.

"The Reincarnation Space… hahahahaha! I'm not dead! Damn Wade! Damn Logan! I'm coming back!!!!!!!"
