Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: Chun-Li and Harribel

After checking the summoning functions, he knew that although the loyalty of those he summoned wouldn't be 100%, they couldn't hurt him.

He also talked a lot with Saeko, mostly discussing this world, as well as the pirates.

The subtle smile she showed when he talked about pirates did not go unnoticed.

He also spoke about Haki and the Akuma no Mi.

"This world is interesting. Looks like I'm going to like it here," she said with a smile.

While he was talking to her, he was also looking at the information on the cards, and one caught his attention.

[Chun-Li (Street Fighter)]

Description:

In her relentless pursuit of revenge for the death of her father at the hands of M. Bison, Chun-Li was defeated and killed by M. Bison.

Skills:

-[Kung Fu]

[Summon] – [Assimilate] – [Recycle]

'She won't be very loyal to me if I summon her.'

At least in the beginning, he knew her loyalty would be lower than Saeko's.

"Hold on a moment, Saeko." Caleb stood up.

Saeko, who was about to say something, nodded: "Okay."

Standing next to the table, Caleb clicked on "Summon."

Even through the "book of cards," he was able to summon her, the card disappearing directly from the book as she began to appear as if being digitized into the real world.

Chun-Li wore a qipao, a Chinese dress. Her outfit was modified to allow a much greater range of motion than a regular qipao. She also wore white combat/boxing boots that reached about mid-calf, and a blue leotard with dark brown sheer tights and a blue thong underneath her qipao.

Her qipao was blue with golden details and a white sash embroidered with a dragon pattern. Large spiked bracelets, with black steel rings and polished white/chrome spikes, were worn on both arms.

When her eyes met his, at first she showed the same confusion as Saeko, but then she took a firm stance.

"Master?" she asked, pointing at him.

"My name is Caleb Saga," he said. "You can call me Caleb. Can you understand me?"

"Huh? Of course I can," she replied. "Isn't it just speaking Japanese? What's so hard about that?"

"Okay, let me rephrase my question, but first, can you hold this rope?" Caleb offered her the end of the rope.

Unlike with Saeko, where he was more aggressive, he wanted to try a different approach this time, but still act cautiously.

"No problem." She reached out and held the end of the Lasso of Truth.

Soon, the rope began to glow golden.

"You were summoned after dying in your quest for revenge over your father's death, correct?" He started with an easy question.

"That's right." She nodded, biting her lower lip.

After averting his gaze from her thigh, he looked back at her face: "You know this is another world and that you won't be able to take your revenge now that you've accepted being summoned by me, right?"

"Yes, although it's a shame, I still wanted to live if possible." She said with calm control: "But, if you turn out to be a damn bastard, even if I can't kill you, if I can't escape from you, I will kill myself."

The Lasso of Truth was still active, which meant she was being serious about it.

Summoned characters:

- [Saeko Busujima / Loyalty: [3.5/5] / Assimilation Slot: [Empty] – Equipped Items: [Gantz Suit]]

- [Chun-Li / Loyalty: [4.1/5] / Assimilation Slot: [Empty]]

'What's going on here?'

He believed she was being sincere in saying that, but then, how could she be even more loyal to him than Saeko?

At first, he thought it was the influence of the Lasso of Truth that forced obedience, but even when he removed the Lasso of Truth, it only dropped to 4/5.

'Does she see me as an authority figure and, because of her disciplined personality, she's that loyal to me, or is it for another reason?'

He didn't ask her about it; if he did, she would realize he had something to measure her loyalty to him if she thought for a moment about how strange that kind of question would be.

'Well, it's a good thing for me that she's so loyal.'

"Okay, wait with Saeko, she'll explain a bit about this world." Caleb said.

Chun-Li nodded, then walked over to Saeko, greeting her.

While the two talked and got to know each other, Caleb picked up another card.

[Tier Harribel (Bleach)]

Description:

Tier Harribel, the Tercera Espada of Aizen's Arrancar army, is a powerful and loyal warrior with a strong sense of honor and protection for her subordinates. During the battle against the Shinigami, she was seriously injured and betrayed by Aizen, resulting in her death.

Skills:

-[Master Swordsman Specialist]

-[Immense Spiritual Power]

-[Cero]

-[Sonído Master]

Equipped Items:

-[Zanpakutō: Tiburón]

[Summon] – [Assimilate] – [Recycle]

With the card in hand, he clicked on summon.

Little by little, she materialized before him. When she opened her closed eyes, she blinked and looked at him.

Harribel has dark skin, green eyes, blonde lashes, and messy short blonde hair with three braided locks. She wears an Arrancar jacket with a high collar that covers the lower part of her face downwards, while showing a good portion of the lower half of her large breasts.

The sleeves of the jacket completely wrap around her arms, ending in black glove-like extensions at the ends, resembling the appearance of a cat's paw.

She carried a sword horizontally on her back. The sword itself is notably wide and short.

[Tier Harribel / Loyalty: [3.1/5] / Assimilation Slot: [Empty]]

"You must be my new master." Her voice was controlled. She didn't seem confused or curious at all.

"New, huh… That's right. My name is Caleb Saga," he said.

"My powers... They've changed," she said suddenly.

"Since this is another dimension, they've adapted," Caleb replied.

"Right," she said. "That voice said something about that. Just as I won't be an Arrancar anymore, but rather, a Shark-Mermaid."

Although surprised by this information, Caleb managed to keep a calm expression.

Meanwhile, Harribel remained silent with her arms crossed.

'This one's tough,' he thought. 'But at least she didn't become aggressive.'

Still, he also stared at her in silence with a simple smile on his face.

Sigh. Minutes later, giving in, she still had her arms crossed when she asked: "What's your goal in summoning me? I presume you're after my strength, correct?"

"My goal in summoning you?" Caleb said. "I want to form a powerful team and roam the world."

"Does it need to be that powerful just to roam the world?" she asked.

"If I want to be free, yes," Caleb replied. "This world is full of stupid things, like nobles who think they're gods. I don't want to bow my head to anyone. That's why I need to be powerful enough—and so do my allies."

"Okay, I agree with your ideals," Harribel said. Then she coldly added: "But I must warn you. What I hate the most is a traitor!"

"What a coincidence, me too," Caleb replied.

"Good." Hearing that, she finally relaxed.

"Now, I'll introduce you to the other two members of the group," Caleb said.

Harribel nodded, shifting her gaze from him to Chun-Li and Saeko.

Looking at the three girls who had started talking, Caleb felt a strange sensation.

Used to sailing all this time in East Blue alone, it was the first time he had so many people who weren't 'uninvited guests' on his ship.

Looking away to the 'Book of Cards,' there was one that was good: 'Akari Shimizu (Solo Leveling).'

However, he felt more like recycling her than summoning or assimilating.

Although she has healing abilities, still, he has the strong urge to recycle. Summoning wasn't even an option.

'A few days left until next month, when I have enough points, I'll decide.'

**

Two days later, with nothing but sea, with only them on the ship to talk to, naturally, they started to get to know each other.

Although Harribel was quieter, she still didn't exclude herself from the group.

The truth was that, although she seemed cold, she was warmer than she appeared to be.

On the table, a newspaper was open.

Each of them read the newspaper's content.

"So this world is controlled by this so-called World Government that serves the World Nobles, also known as Celestial Dragons," Chun-Li said. "What nonsense, why would 'Gods' need protection if they're so powerful? What kind of power do they even have to be at the top of the world?"

"I don't think it's that strange," Saeko said with a smile. "In my world, the ones who ruled countries were people you only had to glance at to know they were unworthy. Either they were very arrogant, using military power to do whatever they wanted, or they simply drowned in corruption, making the poor even poorer."

"Well... In my world, it wasn't much different," Chun-Li said in a low tone.

Then, the two looked at Harribel.

"In my case, it was different. After all, I'm not human. Although I've been to the human world before," she said. "I didn't stay long enough to understand them or to know better what their situation was."

"Oh right, you mentioned something about being an Arrancar," Saeko recalled.

"Yes, but apparently—" She pulled up the zipper that opens from bottom to top, showing her face that no longer had the Arrancar mask: "—since I was summoned, my species seems to have changed."

"Shark-Mermaid, right?" Chun-Li asked rhetorically.

"That's right," Harribel confirmed, saying, "Back to the previous subject. If we don't want trouble, we should avoid these World Nobles. Although I don't like that."

Chun-Li's expression grew somber. Deep down, she knew Harribel was right to say that.

...

Unaware of the conversation the girls were having, Caleb, who was steering the ship, saw something while using binoculars.

A smile formed on his lips as he locked the helm and jumped to the prow of the ship.

Holding the Tessaiga, his Haki began to be absorbed.

"Ittoryu..."

The blade of the Tessaiga turned black, a golden-silver aura surrounded the blade: "Sakana o kiru."

As the words left Caleb's lips, he slashed horizontally.

"Whoosh!"

It was also at this exact moment that a loud sound of something emerging from the water echoed.

With only its head out of the water, a bluefin tuna with a head the size of Caleb's ship jumped out of the water, but in the air, the tuna's head separated from its body.

"BOOM! BOOM!"

When the two parts of the bluefin tuna fell back into the sea, it created currents that rocked the ship a lot.

Some of the waves that formed almost reached the height of the ship.

"What was that?"

From the second floor, coming out of the room's cabin, Chun-Li appeared.

Right behind her, Saeko and Harribel also came out.

Turning to them, Caleb smiled: "I just caught a big fish. We'll have bluefin tuna for lunch~"

"Bluefin tuna? The King of Tunas!?" Chun-Li started drooling.

"Yes, it looks delicious," Caleb replied, looking toward the tuna.

He wanted to grab a hook and pull the tuna toward them, but Harribel interfered.

"Leave that to me." Without even waiting for a reply, she was already above the two parts of the tuna and simply controlled the water to float it toward her, grabbing the huge head with one hand and the other part by the caudal fin with the other.

Saeko went to the prow and asked Harribel, "Do you want me to do that again?"

"Better." Harribel agreed, throwing the tuna's body part toward the ship.

Saeko closed her eyes. Soon, she opened them, and her gaze became as sharp as a razor.

Her feet flexed as she took a sword attack stance.

With her left hand, she held the sheath and with her thumb, she pushed the sword slightly while holding the hilt with her right.

"Haahh."

Letting out a spirited shout, she appeared in the air and, when she unsheathed the sword, she swung it very fast.

"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh...!"

Each slash was clean and precise.

As she began to fall, the huge headless tuna body was split into several parts, but leaving the spine portion intact.

"I still have a lot to learn..." she murmured upon seeing that some pieces were still stuck to the tuna's spine.

Meanwhile, the sliced parts were separated in the air, directed straight to fall on the spacious back part of the ship.

"Bang! Bang! Bang...!"

The pieces fell, lifting the ship into the air, but none of them were shaken, keeping their feet stuck to the ground as if there were glue on their soles.

"Isn't that good enough for you?" Chun-Li held back her urge to roll her eyes at Saeko's comment.

"Would you be satisfied if instead of being able to kick someone 100 times, you managed 99?" Saeko asked with a smile.

"Actually, yes. 99... just one less than 100, isn't it a kind of romance?" Chun-Li replied.

"... Okay, I lost." Saeko raised her hands in the air.

"Hahaha." Chun-Li laughed.

Meanwhile, Harribel, who was 'standing on air,' asked toward Caleb, "What shall we do with this huge tuna head?"

"It must be delicious to make a stew out of that, but..." He sighed upon seeing that even though their ship wasn't small, it wasn't big enough to fit a pot that could hold a tuna head that large.

"Just throw it toward me, I'll store it for us to eat later." Caleb replied.

"Won't it spoil?" Saeko asked.

Looking at her, Caleb calculated their time until the next destination, then sighed as he thought it could still take a few days: "Change of plan, just throw it into the sea."

"Okay." Agreeing, Harribel simply threw the giant tuna head into the sea with great force.

"BOOOOOM!"

When the head hit the water, the tuna's head shattered from the impact.

And even though she had thrown it far, the force used was enough to create waves that were reaching them.

Sighing, Caleb jumped, standing on the ship's railing, then he calculated with the "Sage" and managed to find the "Wind Scar."

When the Tessaiga absorbed enough Haki from him, once again an aura became visible while the sword's blade turned black. Then, Caleb swung the Tessaiga horizontally.

"Whooosh!"

As if it opened a rift in space, the attack came out in a crescent shape, covering a huge area, shooting in the direction of the large wave that was coming toward them.

"Whooosh!"

"Ahhhh!"

When the attack hit the wave, a very loud high-pitched sound made Saeko and Chun-Li scream with their hands over their ears.

The sliced wave began to collapse, but it still advanced—however, it was no longer a threat.

When it hit the ship, it only made it rock.

"Sorry, I'll be more careful next time." Harribel apologized after that small crisis had passed.

"Don't worry about it." Caleb replied, not taking it seriously.
