Chapter 38 - to regret

Chapter Thirty-Eight

Silvia and I headed toward the center of the garden, and the closer we got, we saw the shadow of two people standing on a bench. Upon closer inspection, I was able to recognize the two people — Liam and Helen — but their position was somewhat embarrassing.

And maybe because the area was a bit far from people's sight, Liam didn't feel scared and continued sitting in Helen's lap.

I was shocked by the scene in front of me. Do these two people not feel embarrassed at all? Even I would think twice before doing that.

Their lips were pressed together, while Helen's hand was wrapped around Liam's back, pulling him toward her eagerly.

The atmosphere around them was extremely heated before Liam noticed our presence.

"S..Silvia… What are you doing here?" said Liam, his face turning extremely pale.

"..."

"Hey Silvia," said Liam, shocked.

"….."

Silvia didn't pay any attention to Liam before turning to Helen and speaking in a sharp tone, "Do you know what you took from me?"

"….."

"You keep trying to make yourself seem like a noble girl, but you're just a pig chasing after boys," Silvia said with disgust.

"…" Helen didn't speak and kept looking at Silvia.

"And you, Liam. I'm truly disappointed in you."

"I kept trusting you, but all you did was betray me," Silvia said in disgust.

"No... Silvia…" Liam tried to speak, but he couldn't say anything. How could he speak after what he had done? Does he think people are just toys in his hands?

Silvia turned her gaze to Helen again before she spoke, "Since you always make others feel despair, shouldn't you get a taste of it yourself?"

Grab…

Silvia grabbed me by the waist and pulled me to her before she started kissing me. But this time, the kiss was very different — it felt like she was trying to show Helen what she could do.

Silvia's grip on my back was strong, so I couldn't move.

I looked at Helen, and her eyes were burning with fire.

"You bitch!" When Helen saw that scene, she couldn't take it anymore and pushed Liam off her.

That boy in Silvia's arms — he belongs to her and no one else. How could Silvia, that girl, touch what is hers? No, she'll never forgive her and will make sure to teach her a lesson — especially since she remembered how she used to beat Silvia at home three years ago.

She didn't even dare raise her voice back then, and now she plans to teach her again.

"Take this!"... A large fireball shot toward Silvia, but Silvia didn't care and continued kissing madly.

The fireball flew toward us before a large ball of darkness emerged and swallowed it whole.

Suddenly...

A massive black tiger appeared from the ground before Helen fell, bound to the ground.

"Let me go… Silvia!" Helen repeated angrily, but Silvia didn't care at all.

Helen's eyes were full of despair. She always thought she was in control, but in one moment, she became the one being controlled. She had finally found a boy she liked — even decided to get rid of Liam — but now that boy she desperately wanted was in Silvia's arms.

The girl who used to cry at her feet, begging her for food, was now holding what was hers without a shred of regret.

"No, that boy is mine, you bitch," Helen said.

"Silvia…" When I looked at her face, I saw a crazy smile, as if she were living the happiest moment of her life. The goal she had been aiming for became reality.

True, she didn't achieve everything she wanted, but a small grain of victory made her feel ecstatic.

She had returned everything to Helen. Now, she needed to focus on regaining her father's position — and even though it was much harder with her current strength, she believed she could do it.

Silvia grabbed my hand before starting to walk.

"Silvia, please... sobbing," said Liam with pity, but Silvia kept moving forward.

After walking for several minutes, Silvia stopped and looked at me.

"Kim Hyul… umm... let's break up." Even though she felt a tightness in her chest, she thought it was just emptiness after achieving part of her goal.

She never thought she had fallen in love with the boy in front of her — until it happened.

Slap…

Silvia's head turned to the other side, and she felt a tingling sensation on her forehead.

She felt a burning feeling in her chest.

"Hey Kim, do you know what you just did…." Silvia said in an angry and annoyed tone, but that vanished the moment she saw his face.

The pearl-like tears were streaming down his reddened cheeks as he looked at Silvia with hatred.

"Are you saying you were using me all that time...?"

"I should have expected it. But you're no different than those people. You threw me away after using me."

When Silvia saw the look of hatred on the boy's face, she couldn't even speak. She felt like her heart was being torn into thousands of pieces. Even the loving gaze Kim used to give her was now full of hate.

"Kim, no, that's not true…" Silvia tried to grab my hand.

Slap...

I slapped Silvia's hand away forcefully before continuing my words.

"I want you to do just one thing so I can forgive you... sobbing," I said with a trembling voice.

Silvia felt a small glimmer of hope. "Tell me, please…"

She realized how foolish her request was and finally understood her feelings for Kim. She was planning to do whatever he asked her. But when she heard his request, it was a shock.

"Don't come near me again..."
