"Why didn't the bracelet protect Rowena?" Adam asked, since he had given her the form bracelet previously on the ship.
[[It is only capable of protecting her from physical attacks.]]

"Damn, so who did it?" Adam asked as he carefully placed Rowena on the ground before looking around.
[[Six individuals incoming, I suggest you prepare for combat.]]

"Why is that ugly Terran still conscious?" A humanoid female that had a pair of what Adam could only describe as dog ears sticking out of her head, while a dog's tail came out of her trousers rear.

"Who knows or cares? Just deal with him while I recover the target," the male Caninian, who led a group of six Caninians, including the female from before and appeared to be the leader, ordered.
"Kaayyy," the female said playfully as she began to approach Adam.
The leader turned his attention away from Adam and focused on Liluth, who was lying unconscious on the ground near them, while adding, "Teams two and three, eliminate the security detail as we don't want them following us if they wake up."
"Copy that."
"On it."
"Security detail?" Adam wondered aloud as he reached into his pocket and brought out his force staff before saying, "I'm not really one for leaving helpless young girls alone to be kidnapped, so I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask you to leave her alone."
"Oh, and how do you plan to stop us, ugly? With that little stick?" the female, who was approaching Adam, asked playfully, only to stop as she saw the little stick suddenly glow slightly at the end that was aiming at her before she died.
"Not so little, I'm afraid," Adam stated as he spun the universal force staff while extending it as the female Caninian collapsed to the floor with a glowing red hole in her chest as she lay lifelessly under the canopy above her.
[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): Oh shit, he killed her just like that.]
[1000yearsofdeath (Earth): She didn't last long, so much for taking care of him. Kekeke.]
[Justiceistruth (Earth): I didn't even see it happen. All I saw was a red flash of red light.]
"Errr, leader, we may have a problem here," another of the Caninian team suddenly said warily as they turned to investigate the sound and saw their teammate dead on the ground.
"What's the problem? You can't even handle some unconscious security personnel?" The leader asked in an annoyed voice.
"The issue here isn't them; it's the ugly Terran guy that just killed Roxy," the team member snapped back.
"What?" the leader asked in surprise as he and the other three Caninians looked over before their eyes widened in surprise upon seeing what Adam was holding.
"How the fuck did she die so quickly? Useless bitch."
"Useless? Take a look at what that guy is holding, you dumbass."
"A universal force staff? Fuck, no one told us that a Universal Senator's bodyguard would be present and protecting the target," another team member remarked.
"There is no way one should be guarding her; they only guard Universal Senators."
"Then why is he fucking here?"
"Wrong place at the wrong time, maybe? I mean, he was just asking for directions."
"Focus up, you idiots, the target's life monitor will have already sent an emergency signal to the palace about her falling unconscious, so we are on a time limit," the leader barked angrily before instructing, "all team members converge on the Terran, we need to eliminate him as soon as possible."
[Superior4horns (Vinox 3): What's the streamer gonna do? It's a 5v1, and although he has his force staff, he doesn't have his antigravity armour.]
[OfficialLorelie (Felinia 7): I'm sure he has something planned.]
[HackerSu (Trillion): Let's hope you're right.]
"I'm afraid even if you do defeat me, you're still going to have to give up on your target," Adam stated while splitting the force staff in two.
"And why is that?" The leader asked as he watched Adam's actions with a surprised look.
[Lizziethetruepower (Palaxia): Did he just break the universal force staff in two?]
[Whostolemyduck (Earth): Are you supposed to be able to do that?]
[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): I actually have no idea. Only the universal bodyguards know a Force Staff's full capabilities.]

Adam pressed a section on one of the halves, causing four spikes to shoot out of its end before he stabbed it into the ground between Rowena and the young girl.
{Activate energy shield.} Adam thought as he backed away slightly.

The five Caninians and the chat suddenly saw some kind of strange pale bluish light emerge from the force staff half that Adam inserted in the ground, which began encompassing Rowena and Liluth until it formed a perfect half sphere.
[Celebrityhunter69 (Earth): What's that strange light?]

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): I want to say no, but knowing the streamer, it probably is, even though that tech has only recently been made small enough to fit in mobile armour.]
[OracleRomy (Elysium): It's an energy shield. I had no idea that the Universal Force Staff could do that.]
[NonpareilRaphilia (Aaru): I'm not so sure normal ones can, Romy. That's an awesome piece of tech for protecting a universal senator, yet we have never heard of a universal bodyguard using their force staff in this way. It leads me to think that only the streamer's can do it.]
[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): It once again highlights how advanced the streamer's tech is, but I don't get why his universal force staff can do this. I mean, it can't have been made by the same race that created his ship.]

[RealOtaku (Earth): What does the streamer's mech need a shield for? It can absorb energy attacks, which is already anime as fuck.]
[Animefangirl (Earth): I know that, but we have seen that it can't absorb ballistic attacks and no other mech has used an energy shield.]

[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7); it comes down to the issue of size. So far, the smallest things that have energy shields are mobile armours. These are far larger than mechs since mechs are designed with manoeuvrability in mind, while mobile armours are designed with firepower in mind and so can't manoeuvre as well.]
"What the fuck is that?" One of the Caninians asked.
"It kind of looks like the energy shields you see on a ship."
"Energy shields? How the fuck can they be energy shields, shithead?"
"I'm just telling you what they look like. I never said that's what it was, dumbass."
"We can figure it out later; take the Terran out now."
Just as the leader finished speaking, Rowena opened one eye.
A short time ago, just as Adam had gone to ask for directions.
"Hey Spector, can you hear me?" Rowena asked in a hushed tone.
[[Affirmative.]]
"Listen, I know exactly what is going to happen and was only pretending not to remember, as I wish to watch Adam in combat up close to better judge his skills. Is there a way for me to not be knocked unconscious by the stun pellet that's about to hit Princess Liluth and everyone around her?"
[[If you close your eyes exactly when I tell you, then you can avoid being hit by the majority of the flash.]]
"What about the loud bang? Just covering my ears won't be enough, and I don't want to give away what I'm up to."
[[I can release a sound from the earring that will interfere with the stun pellet's loud bang. Close your eyes when you hear it.]]
