Ira rested her head on Raksheet's chest and closed her eyes. "He wasn't wrong completely. He was right. I didn't took good care of grandfather. I shouldn't have given those medicines to grandfather when I felt someone has entered in his chamber. I should have been alert. I should have asked someone to investigate about this matter before giving those medicines to grandfather. This all happened because of me."
"No. It wasn't your fault. This all happened because of that intruder." Raksheet said while thinking about punishment he will give to that intruder who caused such a fuss in their peaceful life.
Hearing Raksheet mentioning the intruder, Ira looked up at him with curiosity. "Did you find him?"
Seeing the curiosity in Ira's eyes, Raksheet smiled softly and patted her head "Not yet but soon. I have ordered my personal spy to investigate this matter and find that intruder. Don't worry, i will find him soon. And then, you can give him any punishment you want." He placed a kiss on Ira's forehead.
"Can I give him the capital punishment?" Ira asked, her eyes filled with rage and waiting for Raksheet's answer.
Raksheet was shocked to hear her question. Of course she can give any punishment to that intruder but he didn't expected his sweet petite wife to ask to give such a big punishment.
"C-Capital punishment?" He asked, his eyes wide open in shock.
"Yes, capital punishment." She sat straight to face Raksheet. "If i didn't went to serve food to grandfather on time, his condition would have worsen. It would have affected his life. His life could have been in danger." Tears welled up in her rage filled eyes. "I-I can't let him go easily. How can you expect me to give him a small punishment when he tried to kill my grandfather whom I love so much? My grandfather is the only reason I am here, alive. I can't even imagine what would happen to me without him. I can't tolerate it. You don't know how tough my life was before marrying you. He is the only one who made me smile when i cry. And more importantly, he is a king. He is a guest in Jwalana." Her eyes reddened and her lashes wetted with tears.
Raksheet quickly wiped the tears that fell down from Ira's eyes and pulled her in his embrace. "Don't cry. Ok, you can give any punishment you want to that intruder, even a capital punishment. I will find that intruder soon."
"You must be thinking how cruel i am-" She said, controlling her sob hardly.
"Not at all! You are right. He deserve such a severe punishment for trying to kill a king, when specially that king is a guest in Jwalana." He said, clearing Ira's doubt.
She sobbed in his embrace, holding him tightly.
He rubbed her back and kissed her forehead many times to calm her down.
"Now stop crying and let's go for dinner. Everyone must be waiting for us."
She nod and broke the hug. She wiped her tears and got off from the bed and went towards the bathroom.
Raksheet sighed heavily when Ira entered in bathroom and closed the door. He ran his fingers in his hair harshly. "I have to find that intruder soon." He said to himself.
Raksheet held his wife's hand tightly while walking towards the dining hall as she was playing with her fingers in nervousness and stopping on her place again and again.
"You don't have to be so nervous. I am with you. And there is only our family in dinning hall, you don't have to overthinking. No one will say anything to you. Don't worry."
"I know." She said with a sigh.
"You can hold my hand if you feel uncomfortable. I will be with you."
She nod and took a deep breath before entering in the dining hall.
"It's ok." Raksheet said with a reassuring smile.
She smiled in return and went inside with him.
Both the families were already sitting on their places except for Viraaj. He is in his chamber, sleeping. As always, Raksheet and Ira's place was empty because Ahil already told everyone that these two seats are for his brother and sister Ira. So no one dared to sit there.
Even if Veera wanted to sit next to Ahil, she didn't occupied the seat beside him because one seat is for Ira and on the other one, her father was already sitting there. What she was more unpleasant about that, Ahil offered Dhishva to sit on his place beside Ira but he refused. Ahil got the information about what happened between Ira and Dhishva in the evening, so he thought it would easy the tension between them and help them talk with each other. But because of the evening incident, Dhishva don't want to be involved with Ira in any way. If he wouldn't have refused to sit on Ahil's seat, Veera would have sat beside Ahil.
"Ah, finally you two are here." Ashwant said when he saw Raksheet and Ira walking inside the dining hall. Everyone turned their gaze towards the couple entering in the hall. "Come quickly and sit. Let's start the dinner."
They just smiled and nod in response.
Raksheet pulled out the chair for Ira to sit and then sat down on his seat.
"Let's start the dinner." Abhiveera said.
The maid started serving the food.
In between the dinner, Abhiveera and Raksheet were keep on gazing at Ira, just to see if she is ok. If she is feeling uncomfortable. Raksheet even held Ira's hand sometimes under the table to remind her that he is always there for her and if she is feeling uncomfortable, she can tell him.
Fortunately, her dear brother-in-law didn't let her feel uncomfortable. Because of his childish and funny nature, Ahil was keep on talking about random things and cracking jokes that not only made Ira laugh but easy the atmosphere and gave Veera the reason to admire him more.
'He is so adorable. How I wish I can marry him.' Veera thought while peeking at Ahil again and again.
After having dinner, Ira went to have a look on her grandfather's condition. She asked Raksheet to go to their chamber first because she wanted to meet her grandfather alone.
She entered in his chamber and walked towards his bed. His eyes were closed and he was in a deep sleep. She sat down beside him on the bed and held his hand. She looked at him carefully and checked his temperature. Luckily, his temperature was normal.
She caressed his hand and kissed his palm. She still can't believe that someone tried to kill her grandfather. He never harmed anyone, especially not in Jwalana. He came to Jwalana for the second time only. And the first time he came was only to meet Ira. She is the only reason he stepped in Jwalana. Why anyone would have a grudge against him that he want to kill her grandfather?
Her eyes were moist when she recalled the scene and feelings when she saw her grandfather burning in the fever. With that on thought, all the memories of her childhood with her grandfather flashed infront of her eyes. She rested her head on her grandfather's chest and closed her eyes. She recalls how he used to play with her when her siblings refused to involve her in their game. How he used to teach her selfdefense whenever someone bully her. How he used to feed her with his own hand and make her smile when she was sad. He is the only one who always loved her. Why someone want to separate him from her?
Tear escaped from her eyes but the pain was still there. A hand that always hold her and pull her out from sadness, patted her head gently that made Ira hold him tightly and sob.
Viraaj patted Ira's head and then hugged her while still caressing her head. "Now I feel like my granddaughter is back to me."
Hearing his weak voice, Ira buried her face in his chest and held his shirt tightly. Tears falling down from her eyes nonstop.
"Stop crying. I am here."
"Grandfather, i am scared." She said in a low voice between her sobs.
"For what?" Viraaj asked with a smile "I am with you. And you know you don't have to be scared when your grandfather is with you. Hm?"
Ira's heart ached when she heard her grandfather. The reason she is scared is he himself. She is scared to loose him. She don't want to loose him. He was her only hope to live. Then how can she live without him if something happened to him? She just hummed in response, not wanting to open up her feelings and tell her actual fear.
"Did you had dinner?" Viraaj asked to change the topic so that his granddaughter would stop crying.
Ira broke the hug and sat straight, wiping her tears with back of her hand "Yes. You had your dinner too, right?"
As Viraaj expected, Ira stopped crying and her mind is diverted somewhere else.
"Yes. I took my medicine too." He said while looking at Ira with a smile.
"Good." She smiled "You have to take care of yourself and recover soon. Don't eat your previous medicine, eat the new one that Mr. Chiron gave you."
"Who is he?" Viraaj asked and sat up. Ira helped him sit and placed a pillow behind his back to give him support. He don't know who Chiron is because he was unconscious when Chiron checked him.
"He is our royal healer." Ira replied.
"Our? It means you finally accepted that you are the part of Jwalana. I am happy to hear that." He said with a relieved smile.
"I have accepted it long ago." She rested her head on Viraaj's shoulder and held his hand "And I am happy to be a part of Jwalana and kumar family. They are too good for me. I never expected i will be able to live a happy married life with my husband and can get so much love and respect from his family."
"Now I don't have any fear. I can rest." Viraaj rested his head on Ira's and closed his eyes. "Ira, now you can start your married life as you want. I will not stop you. Raksheet love you and i am sure he will not leave your side ever and same with other family members. They love you and trust you. As long as fate is on our side, there is nothing to be afraid of."
Ira closed her eyes and breathed heavily, recalling how she disappointed her husband whenever he tried to come close to her. But now, her grandfather gave a green flag to her. Now Raksheet don't have to hold himself back. She can finnally perform her duty as a wife.
She nod and a smile appeared on her lips.
"My all wishes are fulfilled which were in my hands to make them come true. Now there is only one left. And only you can fulfill it."
