In the cold, damp basement, a faint light flickered as a stone slab was quietly pushed aside.
"Iggy, Mom's back."
A gentle female voice carried through the shadows. A woman in her thirties, wrapped in a tattered robe, descended the stairs carrying a small tray of food. She quietly closed the slab above her and looked at her son in the dim light.
The boy, about ten years old, had a thin but striking face, his frame frail and undernourished. At her voice, he quickly set aside his book and rose from his straw mat to help.
"Mom… you've worked hard…"
He took the food and gently placed it beside them.
"For you, no matter how hard it is… it's worth it."
She smiled softly, pinching his cheek. But even through her smile, the exhaustion in her face couldn't be hidden.
Iggy looked at her, a storm of guilt and sorrow twisting in his chest.

King Cobra was banished from the Holy Land, and assassins were sent after Yuni and Iggy.
Thorn—his own father—chose to hide them rather than protect them. He sealed them away in a forgotten basement, then abandoned them.

He thought back to the anime. He couldn't recall any characters like them—a forgotten mother and son, hidden beneath Mary Geoise.

"Mom… thank you," Iggy said as they shared the food.
"You don't need to thank me. You're my son."
She smiled and took a bite of a half-steamed bun, her fingers gently brushing his hair.
"Do you… hate that man?" Iggy asked hesitantly, unsure if she hated his father as much as he did.
Yuni paused, her gaze lowering as her eyes welled with tears.
"My name is Nefertari Iggy!" he suddenly declared, loud and firm—cutting all ties to the Celestial Dragons.
Yuni looked up, eyes trembling. Then the tears finally fell, soaking the bun in her hand.
"Iggy… Mom understands…"
She smiled through the tears, pride shining in her exhausted eyes.
