Chapter 260 - Chapter 260: Seven-Colored Crystal

She stared blankly at Gu You.

"You... who exactly are you?"

Gu You let out a long sigh and said, "At this point, Silver Dragon King, does it still matter who I am?"

Gu Yue Na fell silent.

"How about this? We each make a deal."

"A deal?"

"That's right. I get what I want, and in return, you can ask me for something too."

"What do you want?"

"The Dragon God's Core."

Gu Yue Na's pupils widened slightly. "Impossible. You know that thing..."

"You really think you can complete the great revival of the dragon race? You really think your so-called plan can succeed?" Gu You gave her a sidelong glance.

"You're doubting me?"

"No, not doubting. It's that you simply can't do it. Even if the true Dragon God returned, it still wouldn't be possible. Humans have already taken root in this world. Destroying them would be equivalent to destroying the world itself. Soul beasts and the dragon race have only one path left—to leave the Douluo plane and seek a new world to survive in."

"Impossible! This is our homeland. We were the rulers of this world from the beginning, and you want us to leave? It's humans who should leave!" Gu Yue Na shouted, a silver spear flashing into her hand.

"That's why I don't count on you. I'm human, yes, but I can tell you this—my feelings toward soul beasts are no less than yours. I've seen the truth of this world and its future. There's only one suitable path. Besides, do you really think you, in your current state, can handle the variables Tang San left behind?"

"There's no point in talking further. I only want the core. The rest is yours."

The silver-haired girl bit her lip gently. Her arms circled once, and she raised her head in a long, clear dragon roar. Her body rapidly expanded. In the blink of an eye, she had transformed into a towering silver dragon a thousand meters tall. Her wings spread wide as she began drawing in the surrounding seven-colored mist.

'Is my true self really so weak?'

Tears streamed continuously from her eyes.

'Is this what humanity possesses, that we do not?'

As the seven-colored mist poured into her, the silver scales on her body gained a radiant, multicolored sheen. Her aura grew stronger and stronger, causing the entire Dragon Valley to tremble.

Her massive dragon head slowly turned, gazing at the youth with violet eyes.

'Is this fate? Was this always destined to be?'

As the Dragon God's soul grew fainter, two diamond-shaped crystals appeared in the position where its core once lay. They floated in midair, one golden and one silver. Ripples of seven-colored light flowed around them.

In the sky, clusters of dragon clouds surged toward the scene. One by one, dragon souls leapt from all corners of the valley like moths to a flame.

They all transformed into streams of seven-colored energy, merging into the immense silver body.

That towering silver dragon was riddled with cracks, but as the seven-colored light continued to pour in, those cracks began to mend. A glazed luster covered her body—one that was not colorless, but vividly multicolored.

Finally, when the last of the seven-colored radiance entered the silver dragon's form, she let out a mighty roar. The deafening sound made the entire pocket world tremble, and the crushing pressure caused the cliffs around the Dragon Valley to collapse.

Her colossal form gradually shrank until she once again became the silver-haired girl. With a flash, she flew to the two crystals, lifted a hand, and grabbed the silver one, pressing it to her chest.

At that moment, Gu You suddenly flashed forward, catching her hand and stopping the fusion.

"Sorry," Gu You said calmly. With a wave of his hand, he took the silver crystal and drew the golden one to himself as well.

With another sweep, he combined the two, forming a radiant seven-colored crystal.

"Let go of me. Are you insane? Do you really want that thing?" Gu Yue Na's beautiful eyes were filled with disbelief.

"I'm not insane. I know exactly what I'm doing," Gu You said as he shook his head.

"You got what you wanted, and so did I. Isn't that fair?"

The seven-colored crystal merged into Gu You's heart.

Gu Yue Na struggled free from his grasp. Her expression was one of stunned disbelief as she looked at him like she was staring at a madman.

In the sky above, the great rift in the small world was trembling.

"We can't hold it much longer. The world's laws are pressing too hard. What do we do, boss?" the towering bald man asked the black-haired man.

The black-haired man snorted. "Even if it costs us our lives, we must hold out. Don't you feel it? The master has found the place. There's no mistake. That's the Dragon God's aura—the place we've been searching for. The place where the last shred of the Dragon God's soul slumbered with the corpses of all dragonkind. Stay focused. Hold it together."

"I hope you're right," Gu Yue Na said, her tone softening as she looked at Gu You.

In the next instant, she turned into a streak of silver light and vanished.

She lifted her head and looked toward the black rift in the sky. Suddenly, she stretched her hands toward it and clawed at the void.

In that moment, the sky seemed to tear apart completely. A massive rift, dozens of times larger than before, opened up.

"Go!" she shouted, and in the next second, she had already soared into the sky, disappearing into the rift.

The six others let out long howls and followed her, transforming into streams of light and vanishing into the massive rift.

The pocket world quivered slightly, and only then did the great rift begin to close.

At the mountaintop of the valley.

Gu You gazed down at the countless dragon bones with helplessness in his heart.

With a casual wave of his hand, countless pits appeared, carved out by his vast spiritual power.

Using his soul power, he condensed a massive hand, lifting the colossal dragon bones one by one and placing them gently into the pits.

This was his task. No—his duty. Tang Wulin could no longer do this. Now, it was up to him.

The bloodline of the dragon race had empowered him. He had no choice but to complete this task of burying the dragons.

Fortunately, as a Soul Sage, he could use his soul power in this world, greatly speeding up the process. It wouldn't take a thousand days.

Two months passed.

On the final day, only one skeleton remained—the largest of all, the colossal remains of the Mountain Dragon King.

The Mountain Dragon King's bones weren't just immense. Each one carried an overwhelming weight and a density that gave them an indescribable presence.
