Masses of abyssal creatures shattered under what appeared to be a subtle tremor, reduced to streams of abyssal energy. Some of this energy returned to the Abyss Plane, but another portion drifted toward Gu You, becoming part of his power.
As the black hole shrank back, the Black Empress reappeared in plain sight. She raised her head and gazed coldly up at Gu You. Her voice was crisp, cold, and echoed throughout the cavern.
"It's you."
Just two words, yet every member of the Blood God Legion heard them clearly. Sitting at the core of the formation, Xue Yi's pupils contracted noticeably.
He wasn't surprised that the Black Empress could speak. What worried him was that she had clearly recognized Gu You as the one who devoured two Abyssal Emperors.
There were 108 levels in the Abyss—a complete dimensional realm. Losing two layers might not seem like much, but it would absolutely shake the very foundation of the Abyss Plane.
If this continued, even if the Abyss couldn't be destroyed outright, it might be forced to sever its connection with the Douluo Plane, allowing humanity to eliminate this cancerous threat once and for all.

The Black Empress moved. With a slight shift, she instantly appeared within a hundred meters of Gu You. At this close distance, her breathtaking appearance was all the more striking.
Gu You had a fleeting thought: 'Abyssal creatures sure are good at mimicking humans.'
Her cold gaze became an abyss of slaughter. She extended both arms, clawing toward Gu You. Two claws of condensed black mist tore through space. Simultaneously, the black ring of hair behind her head began to rotate. A massive black hole silently opened behind Gu You, isolating him from Zhang Huanyun.
It was the first time Zhang Huanyun faced the Black Empress. Alarmed, he summoned the full power of his Bright Mirror Domain and blasted it toward the black vortex. But the twin claws had already reached Gu You.
With a low grunt, Gu You thrust forth his Golden Dragon Spear. Tens of thousands of spear shadows erupted like lightning, colliding with the claws that tore through space.
Then, strange runes appeared on the spear's surface. They didn't belong to Douluo Continent, resembling dragons but clearly something more profound. Layer after layer of runes emerged and flared.
All the spear shadows merged into a hundred-meter-long tangible lance, piercing through both claws and heading straight for the Black Empress.
She didn't dodge. With a cold snort, she reached out and grabbed the tip of the lance with her bare hand, halting it completely.
A moment of deadlock passed. Gu You felt like he wasn't facing a humanoid being—but an actual black hole.
Just like last time…
At that very moment, the Golden Dragon Spear siphoned a wisp of power through her grasp and fed it into Gu You.
The Black Empress stared at him, eyes blazing with murderous intent.
Her right fist clenched and struck out!
The entire abyssal passage seemed to freeze. The magnitude of that punch felt like it encompassed the tunnel's full diameter.
Gu You triggered his Golden Dragon Armor, which spread across his entire body in an instant.
In truth, he was still far from being on the same level as the Black Empress. Her punch carried the force of a peak Limit Douluo. If a regular Title Douluo were struck, they'd be annihilated—or reincarnated in another world.
Just as the fist was about to land, darkness peeled away behind Gu You. The Bright Mirror emerged overhead. At the same time, a powerful voice boomed around him.
"Heaven and Earth as Law, Douluo as Spirit!"
It was Xue Yi.
As he shouted, nine-colored light beams crisscrossed the sky above the abyss. A massive rune descended from the heavens, slamming down onto the passageway below.
Instantly, every surface of the abyssal tunnel lit up with intricate nine-colored glow. The spinning light halos collided with the Black Empress's punch, causing the black glow of her attack to contract sharply.
This wasn't Cao Dezhi's power—it was the Plane Power of Douluo Continent itself.
To Douluo's dimensional law, the abyssal beings were invaders. From the beginning, they were subject to the repelling force of the native plane. Without that repulsion, humanity would have lost to the 108-layer Abyss long ago.
The original seal that blocked the Abyssal Passage was made possible only by drawing upon this very Plane Power.
Now, through the Blood God Grand Array, Xue Yi was summoning the Plane Power to counter the Black Empress and suppress the abyssal passage.
Without the Blood God Grand Array, how could humanity have suppressed the Abyss for six millennia?
A powerful light swept past above Gu You, transforming in midair three times. It merged with Douluo's Plane Force and struck the Black Empress's punch with full force.
A storm of energy exploded within the tunnel. Gu You's figure vanished amidst the blinding white light.
Such was the wonder of a domain. Zhang Huanyun had drawn Gu You into his Bright Mirror Domain, using his own power and the Blood God Array to clash head-on with the Black Empress.
