Dave had been in the new world for over 2 weeks now.
His parents had given him the name Siel Van Benserk. They thought that it was a cool name for a cool kid who didn't cry even when he was born.
Lucas and Martha Van Benserk, the parents of Siel, were extremely loving and sort of immature in front of their son.
His mother breastfed him every few hours. At first, he was extremely repulsive and did not want to drink the milk. He didn't want to do it while he was aware of what was going on.
But eventually, he had no choice. He was hungry and thirsty and no one was giving him anything else.
'Listen, I had no choice. A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do'. Siel thought while suckling on the delicious milk oozing out.
This was only for a few months though. After some time, his mother started feeding him from the bottle and also feeding him soft food.
His dad would stay with him a lot and play with him. He thought that his dad was just a careless bum who did nothing all day. Even thought he was the dutch of a territory, he barely went for his duties and stayed with his son the entire time.
His mother was now not as present with him and his father was the dutch of the territory of Silvania, a distant province on the southern side of the kingdom of Leorden.
His mother would often tell him stories about monsters and powerful beasts on the outside who were way stronger than regular humans. She told him that there were also humans who could awaken powers that could fight against the powerful beasts and his dad was one of the most powerful fighters that was protecting the kingdom.
Siel couldn't believe it. The dad who was just a useless bum all day was a powrful beast killer?!
Even though he didn't know it, he was making a really amused face which got the attention of his mother.
"Looks like you don't believe me... Well, once you get older, you're going to have to train as well to become a powerful beast slayer just like your dad" Martha said while coddling her cute firstborn.
Siel was a really pretty and cute child. He had big eyes and jet black hair just like his previous life. However, he was really good looking. His mother knew that when he grew up, he would attract the attention of all the ladies.
As time passed, Siel began to notice something weird. He was always uncomfortable the entire time. He thought that this is how babies felt. But for some reason, the feeling never stopped. However, he didn't pay much attention to it. He thought that the feeling would dissapear eventually.
It seemed as if his parents had also noticed something. Whenever he shifted due to the discomfort, his dad looked at his mom with a grim expression. Siel thought that his parents knew something about was was happening to him
Just like that, time passed. And before he knew it, it was the eye of his first birthday. For some reason, the feeling still hand't stopped.
For his first birthday, his parents had arranged a grand ball in their castle.
Siel was dressed in a really frilly royal suit which was custom made for him by the castle's tailor using luxury silk obtained from a B Class Arachnid's Minion.
There were many other nobels who were attending the ball. His mother said they were all old friends of his father.
The first one who came to meet him was his father's close friend, Matin Von Lumios, the baron of the territory of Lumaria.
"Greetings Martha, how have you been?" Sir Matin said as he came closer to him.
"I am doing very well Sir Matin, what about you?" Martha replied with a cheerful tone.
"Very well, thank you" Sir Matin replied. This was very much the traditional way for greeting people in the kingdom.
Just then, the clock hit midnight. Even though many people didn't notice it, Siel's eyes glowed and stared at a blank space in front of him which wasn't blank anymore.
There were a translucent blue screen with a bunch of stats and skills written on it like they did in games back on Earth.
