“Huh? How did you…?”
The attendant’s eyes widened in astonishment, and Apollonia couldn’t help the urge to let out a sigh as she gazed into those captivating emerald eyes.
She believed it was only natural for Gareth to lust after Adrianne, considering he had relatively conventional standards of beauty… except he was ogling his own reflection in the mirror.
“You’re not easy to forget. This must be your second visit to the palace with Aunt Petra.”
“Yes, it is.”
“Do you want to avoid sharing a bed with Gareth?” Apollonia didn’t even try to beat around the bush and went straight to her point.
Adrianne was taken aback by the directness and trembled, wondering if that was truly something a sixteen-year-old princess who led a life of luxury would say. Adrianne didn’t know how Apollonia had learned about her situation, but she could sense the sincerity in her words.
