Chapter 13: The Silver-haired Assassin (6)
Squeak.
Apollonia opened the small door and took two steps into the room.
She stopped right in front of the barrier locking the assassin inside and pulled a chair over to sit down. She then gestured to the boy standing with his back against the wall to sit down.
It was the first time they faced each other in such a bright place, so Apollonia was finally able to see him properly. The boy was thinner than she remembered. He seemed like an adult based on his height, but his body was still not fully mature, which almost made him seem even more beautiful.
He looked well, even with a shoulder injured, thanks to being able to rest for a few days.
“I heard that you’ve been eating well, and it seems true.”
The boy, who was sitting on the edge of his bed, simply stared at Apollonia without answering. Apollonia just thought that he was having a hard time trying to think of what to call her and how he should speak.
“What’s your name?”
