“How many creatures did you say are in here?”
“There are two hundred and thirty-two in the room… No, one more just came in, so it’s two hundred and thirty-three now,” Evangelin replied as she glanced out the window.
Although she said another just came in, Apollonia only felt a gust of wind enter the room, leaving her unable to decide whether to be astonished or find everything just ridiculous.
“This is the core of Mylon’s Eye? All of them?”
“They’re only a portion of them. Many informants don’t come here,” Evangelin answered nonchalantly.
She had kept her promise and began revealing information about Mylon’s Eye that no one else knew, telling Apollonia everything.
“And who are those informants?”
“Humans. My information network can’t rely solely on monsters. I have informants scattered across the continent, so maintaining them costs a pretty penny,” Evangelin explained, tossing biscuits into the air.
