Chapter 62 - Chapter 62: You Fight Without Honor!

Fujiwara Shin'nosuke had made up his mind: if he was going to be the scapegoat, he might as well switch sides entirely and align himself with the Huaxia noble houses. After all, as a low-ranking operative, the Gattuso family had every reason to throw him under the bus — better to defect now and survive.

But his accusations completely stunned Cheng Shuangfan.

Collusion? Experiments? Cover-ups?

As the director of the Huaxia Division of the Executive Department, Cheng had never heard of anything like this. For his own subordinates to be involved with the Chen and Gattuso families — all without his knowledge — was unthinkable.

"Impossible! Everyone calm down, this has to be a misunderstanding!"

Cheng Shuangfan absolutely refused to take the fall. No matter how much truth there was to the accusations, admitting it would end his career on the spot.

Rain and cold wind battered everyone's clothes and faces, but the tension at the scene was unmoved.

The Huaxia noble representative responded firmly. "Whether or not it's a misunderstanding is not for the Secret Party to decide. With a direct witness against the Gattusos, your organization is under serious suspicion. Don't interfere — or suffer the consequences."

Cheng bit his lip. "Wait! If your accusations against the Gattuso family come from this witness, then on what grounds are you also accusing the Sigurd family from the Elders' Council?"

The real powerhouses within the Secret Party were the Seven Directors of Cassell College — the heads of seven hybrid families. The Gattuso family, second only to Ange's faction, was the most prominent.

The Elders' Council, meanwhile, included four ancient noble families like the Sigurds. Though highly respected, they no longer held power and played no active role in governance.

Accusing current directors was one thing, but why drag in a retired house?

"Ask yourselves — why was a Norse god found inside the Chen family's industrial park?"

BOOM!

The thunderclap that followed felt like a divine punctuation mark, ripping through the storm clouds.

——

Odin raised his massive lightning blade and narrowed his eyes. "That ancient Kotodama…!"

Across from him, Emiya raised the severed Dragon Platform high. Massive dragon-shaped energy surged from the weapon — half burning, half freezing — forming a spectral beast in the air.

It was Kyūbi no Kotodama (Nine Infant Kotodama), a mysterious and powerful Kotodama so unique that the Secret Party never gave it a formal classification. No one understood its bloodline origin.

Nine Infant wielded the powers of the White King, the Sea and Water King, and the Bronze and Fire King.

This elemental hybrid was as dangerous as Odin's own Ancient Manifestation: Indra's Wrath.

Drawing from water as a medium, the Kotodama spread through the battlefield — first freezing the air, then igniting it. Water and fire danced violently, guided by spiritual energy.

Dragons of water spiraled around Emiya, thick and powerful, their tails enough to smash buildings and tear the earth. They collided with Odin's silver lightning, creating a dazzling, chaotic clash.

Electricity twisted like snakes, bursting from the pressure. The dragon streams advanced, freezing and then setting ablaze all they touched. Even shattered ice became white-hot meteors.

It was a battlefield of ice and fire, of thundering beasts and godlike destruction.

Odin channeled more energy into his thunderblade. It grew taller and brighter, a storm-forged mountain of wrath.

But the Nine Dragons howled louder, twisted tighter — and the lightning blade faltered. Their intertwined bodies froze and burned the blade's very core.

Then came the final blow: Futsunomitama, a divine Japanese longsword, launched from Emiya's bow.

Not only had the Earth Mother given Emiya weapons, but Joude Maiyi had also offered her own.

Odin saw the blade incoming, narrow and fast.

He smirked. Another trick — an explosive alchemy strike? He still had plenty of fight left. Emiya's Kotodama had drained him — but Odin? He could still unleash more.

One more charge, and he'd finish this.

He began opening a Kotodama field to teleport away — to dodge the impending blast.

SNAP!

A boy appeared — Lu Mingze.

Odin wasn't surprised. The hidden hand always plays its card at the last second. That's how a worthy enemy operates.

But Odin had a backup plan.

Even if the Kotodama failed, he would warp the space around him — one of the "Seven Alchemical Kingdoms": Spatial Development.

That's how he'd let the Chen duo bypass external blockades. That's how he summoned his army of Servants. Through hidden alchemical arrays in the park.

This time, it would serve to escape. As the god of war, it was shameful to run — but survival came first.

CRACK!

The space twisted — and broke.

Fire flared. The pathway collapsed.

Teleportation — failed.

Odin's golden eyes blazed like high-powered searchlights. Someone else had destroyed the array.

That fire. That alchemy.

It had to be Norton.

Another one?! Two masterminds, both sabotaging him from the shadows?

"You fight without honor!"
