Chapter 1 - The Gifted

In the far future approximately 8 billion years after the creation of the universe , life had flourished across countless galaxies.

‎But within the boundless ocean of stars, there was one world more radiant than the rest: a planet where magic, mystery, and ancient legacy thrived.

‎Its name… Nuvarel.

‎Throughout the eons, Nuvarel had been home to many beings. But one race stood apart: humans.

‎They were not the strongest. Not the fastest. Not the most durable. Yet somehow… they endured.

‎Why?

‎Because of a mysterious phenomenon present since the earliest days of their race a force known as the Divine Gifts.

‎From birth, nearly every human manifested a unique ability some small, some world-breaking. These powers could bend fire, alter gravity, stop time, or even affect reality itself. Each Gift was believed to be a whisper of the gods a fragment of their ancient will, passed through blood and soul.

‎But humans were not alone on Nuvarel…

‎The Races of Nuvarel

‎Elves

‎Born of starlight and silence, the Elves are one of the oldest mortal races. Immortal and wise, they live in crystalline forests and hidden cities woven through magical folds in reality. Their Divine Gifts are subtle, often rooted in nature, foresight, or song.

‎Dragons

‎Primordial titans of power, Dragons embody raw creation energy. Some slumber beneath mountains. Others walk among mortals in humanoid form. Their Divine Gifts are often immeasurable, tied to elements or forgotten laws of reality.

‎Demons

‎Manifestations of desire and chaos, Demons aren't born they form. Born at the edges of reality, their powers are emotional, unstable, and dangerously potent. They are both feared and worshipped.

‎Beastkin

‎Tribal people with the blood of animals and the instincts of predators. Each tribe draws strength from a totemic beast wolves, lions, hawks, or more exotic spirits. Their Divine Gifts enhance physical power, senses, and primal fury.

‎Virellans

‎Translucent beings of light and sound. They communicate in vibrations and emotional frequencies. Virellans shape the world through resonance shattering, mending, or altering it by adjusting its "tune." Their Gifts manipulate energy, sound, and perception.

‎Umbryn

‎Shadow-born nomads from realms hidden beneath light. Their skin glimmers like void-glass, and their eyes reflect stars that do not exist. Umbryn wield Gifts tied to secrecy, teleportation, and memory manipulation.

‎Aetherials

‎Born during celestial storms, Aetherials drift between physical and energy forms. They often appear as robed figures with halos or comet-like trails. Their Gifts manipulate gravity, light, space even fragments of destiny but at great personal cost.

Each race on Nuvarel holds a piece of the world's divine puzzle. But none know that the time of the gods is near once more...

‎The slumber of the Primordials is ending.

‎ "HUMANS, although they are blessed with the Divine Gifts, are far from being the strongest race. Because of this, they constructed enormous walls ,some said to be imbued with ancient magic to protect themselves from the more dominant races, such as the dragons and demons.

‎Throughout Nuvarel, there are many human strongholds, scattered across forests, plains, and floating isles. But none are as famed or feared....as the kingdom of Valeria."

‎"There are many stories about how Valeria was founded, but the most widely accepted and most sacred...tells of a time 3,000 years ago when humanity teetered on the edge of extinction. Crushed by the might of dragons, demons, and other powerful races, humans had not yet awakened to the Divine Blessings hidden within them.

‎In those desperate days, the last human stronghold was under siege by a demon army. Amid the chaos, a mother her spirit broken and body trembling, knew she could not survive. But her ten year old son, her only light in a dying world, still had a chance. With no other option, she placed him in a reinforced barrel, sealed it tight, and pushed it off a cliff into the ocean, praying the currents would carry him far from the massacre.

‎For hours, the boy was tossed by the waves. And then, as if guided by fate itself, the barrel shattered upon striking the ocean floor. Drenched, bruised, and gasping for breath, the boy found himself staring at an ancient object resting beneath the seabed's ruins,a golden crown inlaid with twelve shimmering gems, each pulsing with an otherworldly light.

‎Compelled by something beyond understanding, the boy reached out and placed the crown upon his head. The moment he did, the world shifted. Knowledge.....immense, overwhelming...poured into him. He understood the secrets of life, magic, time, and even the ancient gods themselves. Yet, even with such unimaginable power coursing through him, the boy did not rise to wage war.

‎He was wise enough to know: power without purpose leads to ruin. And so, he waited. He trained, learned, and grew, not as a tyrant, but as a beacon."

‎"Although he now possessed great knowledge and power, the boy also understood how dangerous the crown truly was. It wasn't just a tool....it was a force beyond understanding, and misuse could bring ruin. So, using the resources available on the island and the insights granted by the crown, he carefully crafted a small sealed crate designed to contain it safely.

‎Luckily, the island he had washed up on was rich in food and natural resources. Sheltered forests, wild fruits, freshwater streams, and even scattered ruins offered everything he needed to survive. In this isolated land, he trained his body, sharpened his instincts, and spent years absorbing knowledge

preparing for the day he would return to the world and change everything."
