Chapter 133 - Chapter 133: Might of the Demonic Wrath

The moment the fire lotus left Xiao Yan's hand, a mouthful of fresh blood spurted from his lips. His palm, now mangled and covered in blood, had been torn apart during the violent fusion of the four Heavenly Flames. Even with his current strength, it had been dangerously taxing to create the Demonic Wrath Flame Lotus. If not for his soul having reached the Spirit Rank and the experience from his previous life, he likely would've been blown to pieces during the fusion process itself.

Of course, this was also tied to his strength. If Xiao Yan were already at the Dou Zun level, fusing four Heavenly Flames wouldn't be nearly as dangerous. Then again, if he really were a Dou Zun, he wouldn't have been forced into such desperate straits by Hun Moli in the first place—any one of his earlier attacks could have already ended her life.

'I'm still too weak...' Xiao Yan thought as he shook his head. He quickly retrieved a few pills from his storage ring and stuffed them into his mouth. As the medicinal strength spread through his meridians, the bloodless pallor of his face eased slightly. Only then did he look up toward Hun Moli, whose expression had become incredibly grim.

Hun Moli, at that moment, was seized by unprecedented fear. Though the brilliant fire lotus floated toward her in silence, she could clearly sense the catastrophic power packed within that deceptively small blossom. If that energy detonated, even her ashes might not remain.

Faced with such a lethal threat, she unleashed her full strength without hesitation. Countless formidable attacks surged from her palms, colliding with the incoming fire lotus. But to her horror, the lotus didn't slow down in the slightest. All of her Dou Techniques were instantly consumed, turned to nothing as they reached the brilliant petals.

"Great Nether Blood Condensation Sword!"

Seeing that her usual attacks were useless, Hun Moli bit her tongue, spitting out a mouthful of blood essence. The blood fused with the surrounding black mist, coalescing into a massive blood-red energy sword over a hundred meters long. As the weapon formed, her face paled drastically—this technique demanded an enormous price, even for her.

"Go!" she roared, forming a hand seal. The blood sword tore through the sky, dragging behind it a pitch-black spatial rift as it hurtled toward the dazzling fire lotus. This was her strongest attack, a peak Earth-Rank Dou Technique that could easily slay six- or even seven-star Dou Zuns.

This was her trump card—one she'd never willingly use unless the situation was truly dire. But now, she had no choice but to use it to block Xiao Yan's Demonic Wrath Flame Lotus. That alone showed how deeply she feared the attack.

When the blood-red sword collided with the fire lotus, the entire world seemed to pause.

Then came the explosion—thunderous and absolute.

The blood sword, along with the space around it, shattered instantly as the lotus erupted in a blinding explosion. It was as if the heavens themselves had split open.

The moment her prized energy sword was destroyed, a layer of black armor surfaced over Hun Moli's body. Immediately after, a terrifying firestorm burst forth from the lotus's detonation point. In an instant, it expanded to over a thousand meters in radius and continued to surge outward with unstoppable momentum.

Even this was merely the residual shockwave. Yet if any Dou Zong caught in it didn't retreat in time, their bodies would be obliterated. Even some weaker Dou Zuns would be hard-pressed to escape unscathed. As for the mountain range surrounding the Demon Flame Valley—it was simply incinerated into molten slag.

The mountains around Demon Flame Valley weren't ordinary. They were composed of obsidian steel, a type of black rock so durable that even a Dou Wang would struggle to chip it. But now, thousands of meters of this black-stone terrain had been reduced to glowing ash.

Everything—the peaks, forests, caves, and hidden valleys—had vanished in the lotus's blaze. Such terrifying destruction couldn't even be achieved by some full-power Dou Zun attacks. And yet, this wasn't even the full force of the lotus—just the aftershock.

The firestorm raged for over ten minutes before it finally began to subside. During that time, every living thing within miles had been wiped out. If not for the strange geology of the area, the damage would have been even worse.

When the flames finally dissipated, Hun Moli's figure emerged from the inferno.

Her condition was dire.

Her entire body was drenched in blood. The black armor covering her was riddled with cracks, countless fragments breaking off and falling to the scorched earth below. Blood oozed from her injuries and mingled with the remnants of her shattered armor.

"That bastard..." she muttered through clenched teeth, her body trembling. The armor she wore had been crafted from the bones of an eighth-rank magic beast known for its exceptional defense. The beast's Monster Core was embedded at its center, and layered with her own Dou Qi defenses, the armor was practically impenetrable.

And yet, under the lotus's explosion, it had crumbled like brittle pottery. She herself had been blasted into a severely injured state.

Her gaze turned toward Xiao Yan.

For the first time, true fear flickered in her eyes.

That fire lotus's power surpassed even most Heaven-Rank Dou Techniques. If not for her armor… and if the difference in their base strength hadn't been so vast… that one attack might have killed her outright.

Xiao Yan, meanwhile, lay flat on the ground, unmoving. He looked half-dead, likely knocked unconscious by the aftershock of his own attack. As a Dou Zong, he was far too weak to endure such a powerful technique. The only reason he'd survived was sheer luck.

Hun Moli didn't waste time inspecting her wounds. She moved toward him swiftly. This boy was simply too dangerous. He needed to be neutralized immediately. If she allowed him to recover, who knew what terrifying technique he'd unleash next?

But just as her hand reached toward Xiao Yan's body, a sharp gust of wind swept in from behind her.

Hun Moli's heart clenched. She whirled around, only to see a faint soul form materializing behind her. The translucent figure bore a mocking smirk on its illusory face.

"The same trick a second time—and you still fell for it? How wonderfully stupid."
