That night, Agares and Milenia were relaxing in the lounge of Milenia's residence. On the table, there were cookies, water, and a bottle of wine kept chilled in a large bowl full of ice to make the wine feel cold without altering its taste.
Milenia smiled, opening one of the three wine bottles stored in the large bowl. With delight, the woman poured the wine into two different glasses, one for herself and one for Agares.
"You could say, a pet is your life companion in a different sense, not a life partner."
"I used to have one, but I lost him," Milenia explained, her eyes fixed on the wine in her glass.
"Since then, I've never formed a pet contract with any pet again. I don't want to replace him."
Agares listened to Milenia's life story, especially about her close bond with her pegasus horse. Unfortunately, Milenia's pegasus was severely injured when they were on floor 66.
