THIRD PERSON POV
As the moon grew higher in the night sky, Yuta Katsuo, a middle aged, short, scary man with a 4 cm thick lip, large elf like ears and a flat fish like nose, stood at the balcony of his newly acquired mansion. All the sufferings he had endured through out the years were finally paying off. He now had a house, a decent job, a company of his own, and all the money he could even desire, but most of all he had a woman, an extremely beautiful model that every man would dream of. Suki was her name, and indeed she did look like the moon.
"Yuta baby, let's share a drink shall we?" Suki's voice cut through Yuta's thoughts, as she walked majestically towards him, two wine glasses in hand as she swayed her hips from side to side.
"Congratulations to you" She said with a broad smile as she handed him a glass.
"Thank you" He said excited, indeed he deserved a big congratulation after all he just sold his very first app worth half a billion yuan. Now it was finally time for him to kick back, relax and get the respect and love he deserved from on all the people who mis-treated and abused him. All those who humiliated him by asking him to work as a scare crow, all the orphanages that turned him away because he was hideous, like he created himself. Now was finally time to become the world's most loved millionaire.
"Guess what baby. I have a special gift for you" Suki said excited, plaguing Yuta's interest.
"What is it?" He doubted searching her eyes for answers.
"I am going to give you all the husband benefits, you deserve" She whispered and Yuta froze, no it couldn't be Suki was going to let him touch her?. That was impossible, she had a strict no kiss, no hug, no touch policy, and that policy has stood as such since she was introduced to him three years ago by his best friend, Armin.
"Are you saying what I think you are saying?" He asked, nervously swallowing a lump in his throat.
"Yes baby. I am all yours for the night" She said, casually planting a kiss on his cheek. Her kiss took Yuta off guard and he froze since that was his first ever kiss.
"Finish your wine and join me in bed" She added, excusing herself to the bedroom. Yuta immediately did as he was told, he gaggled down the entire glass of wine and rushed into the room, in hopes of breaking his virginity, but for some reason after a couple of steps his eyes began spinning, his stomachs hurt, his body became weak and he fell to the floor.
"Suki" He called out, his mouth begining to feel up with blood "Call a doctor, I think the wine was poisoned"
Suki rushed to his side a worried expression on her face. "You think?" She asked rhetorically, bursting into laughter, "Just figuring that out now. You know for an A classed person, you are pretty dumb"
That was when it all began to make sense. Suki had poisoned him but why?.
"I suppose you want to know my reasons for poisoning you" Suki began, as though reading his mind, "The truth is, you are not in my league Yuta, I was only using you to enrich myself," She said and he froze. His eyes began to water as his already hurt heart intensified it pain tenfold under the weight of her words.
"Don't feel bad Yuta. You of all people should understand, you seen yourself in the mirror, haven't you?" She asked upon noticing Yuta's frown, "You are hideous, you smell awful, your face gives baby nightmares, even your touch disgust me. You should be greatful that I ever dated you"
Yuta's chest felt like exploding, so all he had worked for till date still weren't enough to get him a single person to love him.
He laid on the floor his gaze fixated on Suki's face as he tried speaking but choked on his own blood.
"Yuta don't push yourself to die sooner by speaking, just safe your strength you don't want to die before seeing the true master mind" She teased with a nemesing laugh.
"What... What do you mean..." He asked in-between coughs, his chest hurting like acid, yes he was in agonizing pain but nothing was as agonizing as hearing her fowl words, there were like burning coal to his throat.
"You'll see" She said and just then the doorbell rang and she excitedly ran out the room.
With her out of the room, Yuta struggled to crawl to safety. He laid on his stomach pulling himself towards the door, every breathe felt like he was taking in blades, and yet the pain of breathing was nothing in comparison to the pain of betrayal in his heart.
With every crawl Yuta's determination intensified, eventually he successfully made his way to the door.
"Help!!!" He screamed, but his words were not above a whisper, as he choked on his own blood. He called out a couple of times before his limbs gave up and he became motionless.
Breathing became extremely difficult, speaking almost impossible. He vision began blurring up. It was clear that he wasn't going to survive. He looked up to take in what he thought would be his last glimpse of light only to see a familiar face, it was no other than his best friend Armin, hand in hand with Suki.
Yuta smiled, using the last of his strength he called out in an inaudible tone, "Armin help..."
Armin looked down at him but instead of scrambling to help, his expression turned violent. Armin turned towards Suki, his expression cold and hostile. "Surely he will deal with Suki" Yuta thought but to his surprise what came out Armin's mouth stunned him.
"Isn't he supposed to be dead Suki?" He asked, and Yuta froze.
"I'm sorry baby. This pest just refuses to, but isn't that a good thing at least you get to say your good byes" She said, capturing Armin's lips in a hungry kiss.
That was when it all made sense, they both of them were in a relationship and were only using him.
"You betrayed me...." Were the only words Yuta could muster.
"No, Yuta you betrayed me" Armin said, his voice thunderous as he ducked to Yuta's level, "I have been your friend for years, I have endured the shame that came with associating with you and for what? the moment you hit it big you give me peanuts"
"Peanuts" indeed Armin was an ingrate after all, referring to 50 million as mere peanuts.
"Now I get to say goodbye to your sorry self. Hope you burn in hell" Armin said a nemesing laugh.
In that moment, Yuta lost all his will to fight, his heart rate became slower. He tired forcing air into his lungs but it refused to move and eventually in under seconds his breathing stopped and he gave up the ghost, but not before he made a prayer for redemption.
