Kiara's expression changed as Philip drove into a breathtaking estate.
"Is this where your villa is located?" She asked, her mouth agape.
"Oh yes. We haven't reached my villa yet though," he replied, smiling as he noticed the excitement on Kiara's face.
"Wow. But why have I never heard of this estate before?" She inquired.
Without waiting for his response, she added, "The buildings don't look newly constructed; I would have assumed it's a newly developed estate. So, what happened? Is it reserved for government officials?"
"You're right. The estate has been around, although not fully active. It was closed off for a few years..."
"Why?" She interrupted, staring at him with curiosity.
"Is the owner still alive? Or was the estate seized by the government?"
Kiara found it hard to believe that such a beautiful estate could remain inactive for even a day, let alone years, with the owner still alive.
