Alisha stared at Kaidon in shock. So, he really meant what he said about finding his mate? He even dared to act romantically in my presence? She spat under her breath in disgust.
"Kaidon, who is that?" Alisha asked, and Kaidon replied coldly.
"She's my mate. Leave now! She doesn't feel comfortable with you around."
Hearing those words, Alisha's heart ached. Her eyes blurred with tears. This can't be happening!
"Kaidon… I-I came to ask you a question," she spoke, trying hard not to break down.
"Save that question for later and leave now! I won't repeat myself anymore," he responded, and she left immediately, not wanting to be further embarrassed by Kaidon in front of his mate.
Seeing that Alisha had left, Lydia was about to withdraw from the hug, but Kaidon didn't let go.
"Let! Me! Go!" she commanded, and he only laughed at her words.
"It feels so good," he whispered in her ear and finally let her go.
She glared at him, and he chuckled.
