Kaidon's heart raced into Lydia's ear, and her face flushed. She gently stood up from his body without saying anything. Seeing her flushed face, Kaidon smiled.
Lydia glared at him.
"Why didn't you give it to me when I asked you?" Lydia spoke like she was angry, but deep down, she wasn't. Their position was very awkward, and when she remembered their kiss at dinner, her cheeks flushed deep red.
"You're blushing," Kaidon teased, and she turned her face away from his sight.
"Says who?" she questioned and fanned her face.
"This room is hot and uncomfortable," she gave that excuse and got down from the bed, leaving the room right away.
When she left, Kaidon smiled.
"Don't you think our mate is a little attracted to us?" Kaidon asked his wolf, who chuckled in excitement.
"I think so, but she's just pretending to be tough."
"Hmm… I guess she's just shy. I know with time, she will feel comfortable around us," Kaidon spoke, smiling to himself.
