Chapter 2 - What I Let Hurt

Haiku 1 – Echo

You left days ago,but the way you said my namestill lives in the walls.

Poem: "I Should Have Left First"

I felt it before you spoke. The pulling away. The rehearsed silence. The goodbye folded in the way you blinked slower when you looked at me.

And I still stayed.God, I still stayed.Even when your eyes said goand your mouth said not yet.

Haiku 2 – Detachment

the way you touched me—I misshow I used to feel.

Poem: "Unread Again"

You never blocked me.You didn't have to.You just stopped typing. And I stopped sending. But your name still livesin the search bar, like a wound I dare not tap.

One-line Reflection:

The coldest thing you did wasn't leaving. It was staying silent until I left myself.

Haiku 3 – Restraint

I could've begged once. But my pride loved me louderthan you ever did.

Poem: "Still You"

I hate that you still look good. That I still check. That even now,I find metaphors in your photosand silence in your captions.

You moved on soft.I stayed sharp. But somehow,we both disappeared.

One-line Reflection:

I was never asking for forever.I was just hoping not to be forgotten so quickly.
