"There are different factors," Sirius said, the way he looked reminded Harry of Remus in Harry's third year when the man used to be called Professor Lupin. "some people have theorised that it is based off personality, others say that it is due to physical attributes or even your magic while some have guessed that it is based off your preferences. As for me, well personally I am under the opinion that it is based off a combination of many factors. For example look at me, I was and am fiercely loyal to James, like a dog, I liked dogs, at the time I was decently strong and pretty fast in terms of physical strength, I also loved the idea of being free.
Your dad, your dad was physically the strongest seeing as we do no count Remus due to his added strength from being a werewolf, he also loved prancing believe it or not, he was also a protector. He cared and looked after us, just like how he cared and looked after you and your mother." Sirius smiled for a moment before he continued talking. "As for you, I am not really sure. My initial guess would be probably some sort of bird based off of how much you love to fly, I mean youngest seeker in a century and all so maybe that would make sense. But on the other hand you have been in pretty dangerous situations so maybe you would end up with something a bit more offensive like a predator, oh maybe you can join me in the canine family."
"We will see I guess." Harry shrugged as he thought about it, personally he would be fine with something offensive like a big cat or a dog, but then again he would also like to fly. As long as his animal for had some use then he would probably be fine with it even if it wasn't something he expected. "Alright, let's hurry this up please, Fleur is waiting for me upstairs." Harry said, he knew Sirius was not an idiot and would probably work out that he and Fleur were sleeping together, he figured it would be better to get the conversation out of the way now.
"I feel like I should ask about that actually. I don't know how comfortable I am with letting a girl stay over the night so she can, I was guessing until you confirmed it, sneak into your room at night."
"Ask no questions and I will tell no lies," Harry replied. "besides if I am not going to do it here then I will just do it and her house."
"Fair enough, I know I can't really stop you but for my sakes at least please be safe, there should not be any little Potters running around for a good few years at least."
"Got it." Harry smiled, he was not really experienced with what most adults would be like with finding out that their godson was having sex with someone so he could not really say if this was a normal reaction or if it was just Sirius being understanding and doing his best to keep him happy, either way he appreciated it.
The next day Fleur had left pretty early so after a morning round and a goodbye, Harry had gone down to the kitchen where he sat and enjoyed a lovely meal from Dobby and Kreatcher while the Weasley's apart from Arthur who was at work ate from Mrs Weasley's food. Apparently Mrs Weasley had decided not to make him food, which was no doubt her way of expressing how she did not agree with what had happened to Hermione, but it did not really bother Harry as he had two loyal house elves to cook for him in half the time.
"Hi Harry." Sirius yawned as he arrived in the kitchen.
"Good morning Sirius, you sleep okay? You are up later than usual." Harry replied.
"I couldn't sleep," Sirius admitted as he sat at the table, a plate of food appeared in front of him via the miracle that was Dobby. "I was so excited about today."
"Me too." Harry grinned.
"Excited about what?" Ginny asked, voicing the question on the minds of each and every Weasley in the room.
"Sirius is going to teach me how to be an animagus." Harry grinned.
"You can not teach him that!" Mrs Weasley objected immediately. "That is advanced magic, there is no way he can learn that."
"Why not? I learnt it when I was fifteen and that was without any adult assistance, so did Pettigrew and he was an idiot," Sirius replied. "besides Harry is a lot stronger and better at magic than I was at his age. He learnt the patronus charm at thirteen. I have every faith that he will be able to do it and I will be around to keep him safe and stop anything from going wrong."
"Becoming an animagus is dangerous and..."
"Nothing that I can't handle," Harry cut her off. "I mean I am not like Granger, I know how to listen to instructions."
"Don't you talk about Hermione!" Ron snapped, glaring at him.
"Fine, fine, I will keep your girlfriends name out of my mouth." Harry said, rolling his eyes.
"She is not my girlfriend." Ron mumbled.
"I am still not happy with what had happened to Hermione," Mrs Weasley said to Harry. "that book of yours should..."
"Oh please," Harry cut her off as he stood up. "if she drowned herself because she didn't listen to a lifeguard who said stay out of the pool and jumped in it the second he was unable to stop her then it would not be the lifeguards fault. I told her not to touch my book, as I am sure Mr Weasley told you, she committed a crime that I could have her killed for. I think I am being rather generous, matter of fact if I did not reduce the damage myself then it could have been a lot worse." Harry replied.
"Yes but..."
"Mrs Weasley, could we perhaps have at least one breakfast without some form of drama?" Harry asked, rolling his eyes. Mrs Weasley huffed but stayed quiet.
