Chapter 10: Suspicion and the talk.

With now the reveal of Lunaria being a Willorion, the evolved species of human who have attained the regenrative and aging immortality. Vaelthar now knew, physical attacks were not going to help him against her now that he is aware of her physically indestructible body. Instead he flew a bit back, regenrating his arm back to normal again.

"I see, that I can't harm you, not yet at least." Vaelthar spoke in a cautious tone.

Vaelthar was naturally stronger than the five beings in front of him. Therefore, 'Unshackled Existence' was going to keep him alive, he could regenerate through their attacks due to it and would overtime grow stronger if the fight continues.

But he couldn't kill any of them. Not yet. As he lacked one thing unlike the the five in front.

He still still had not recovered his God Essence from the past. All the things he did until now, was through his own power only. He did not had even some of his 'Unique Essences' recovered, yet. There were some he had recovered now, but only a few of them can help him enough against the five in front of him. The problem was strategy with those few Essences.

The tension among the group was high. Until—

"I am not done yet!" A yell occurred. As Azarine launched himself straight at Vaelthar, furious. Striking his blade 'Eclipsera' right at Vaelthar.

Azarine Nightfall, Wrath Lord, Satanel.

• Main ability 'Satanel': An ability that hits its target with all forms of pain upon imptact.

• The Talent 'Nether': An ability that increases the folds of 'Satanel's effects the more they try to resist it.

• Secondary ability 'Wrath': An ability that increases power the longer a fight goes on for.

• Extra Talent 'Payback': An ability that uses the pain inflicted upon its user to increase the power of their attack. The more wounded they are, stronger will be their attack.

• Ultimate move 'Consume': An ability that burns everything down in a specific level of existence. It also combines the effect of 'Satanel' in it.

The moment the attack connected. Impact occurred.

The impact however this time. Was way worse than the first time it hit Vaelthar. Vaelthar's limbs, they all got torned off. His legs, his arms and even his lower torso. All was destroyed by the impact. The light of the impact, blinding.

The three Eclipsal Lords and Lunaria were pushed back by the force of the impact. They all covered their eyes. Except Thanara, who just stared and mumbled to herself quietly.

"He wants to finish this right now through payback's effect... Huh?!... Understood."

By the time, the light vanished. Most of Vaelthar's body was destroyed. His lower half was gone and bleeding. His both arms and limbs destroyed completely. All left, was just his upper body and head. Both parts covered in dust.

Azarine's state however wasn't any better either. His body had cuts with blood dripping. His arms holding, Eclipsera, trembling. His breathing, heavier and slower. Yet his fire was still there. He clenched the handle of his blade tight, about to attack again. Until—

"Azarine, I command you to halt your movements now!" A commanding yell, flinched into his ears. As Thanara flew over to him and pulled him back through her scythe. "Rest now, you are already way too injured due to the consequences of using Consume earlier. You still haven't recovered, yet."

Azarine tried to protest, furiously. "I can still fig-"

"Do you want your brother to see you like this?" Thanara cut him off with a sincere tone. Azarine halted his words for a moment upon hearing that, as the rush of Adrenaline finally stopped flowing in him. Causing him to pass out.

Holding the now passed out Netherborn with her small body. Thanara glances at Vaelthar and spoke to the others. "Let him go for now..."

Her words caused all of them to be stunned. Bewilderment by her words. Until she explained herself. "Mother just watched at us. Her and the others said to let him go for now. A specific situation only they know of might be related to his arrival."

Vaelthar just stared at them. Suspicious of Thanara's words. But not seeing an option at all to fight all five of the beings in front of them, now that his regenration was slower due to Azarine's attack. He decided to believe Thanara's words.

A space warp portal appeared behind as he slowly hovered back in reverse. Just as Thanara was about to turn back he spoke.

"I have one question for you." Vaelthar questioned. Causing Thanara to turn her glance back at him with a soft 'hmm'?

"Go on." She spoke. But Vaelthar's question was completely unexpected for anyone.

He spoke awkwardly. "Who are you?" That was his question. He remembered a lot. But there was one thing he wasn't aware of. He did not recognised Thanara at all.

The tension in the air soon become awkwardly silent at his question. Thanara was just staring at him with her usual deadpan look. Until—

Twitch!

A vein popped on her head, as she started smiling darkly with a dark gentle look. She was not pleased at not being recognised. "I am a bit annoyed, at that question. However, as you were gone for a long time, you may not recognise me." She started to calm down. "Therefore, I, shall introduce myself to you again."

And then she introduced herself to him once again after millennias. "I, am ThanaraVaelthorne. The Hand of Death. And the Beginning to End."

She started to explain her physical features afterwards. "As you remember what happened during the Third Dawn. I reincarnated once again. However, because of my human like features. I reincarnated as in a child like body." Her explanation was calm. Until—

She made her dark, annoyed smile, again and spoke in a threatening tone. Clenching her scythe hard, it started to release skulls out of its edge. "However, I still retain all my old abilities~ They are weaker than before now. But still capable of sending you to mother's realm~"

It was terrifying not because of her tone. Or the fact she was the Eclipsal Lord of Death. It was terrifying because even as a child, she had the wits of her prime self. Vaelthar upon hearing the words from Thanara's child like figure. Did not wasted a second in leaving from the portal.

The group just stared at where Vaelthar was at just now. Aware that a potential world breaker wasn't far away now.

...

Eyes groggily opened up. But it was soon replaced by an immediate gasp.

"Hn!" Azarine quickly sat up on the medical bed he was at. Looking around, he found himself in the room alone. His arms and body bandaged up. Even his horns were bandaged.

Creak!

The door opened, Lunaria came in. As she sat beside Azarine with a small smile. A glass of water in her hands along with a packet of crackers. A small grin formed with a gentle look on her face.

Azarine stared at her and sighed.

...

Crunch!

The sound of the munching of crackers could be heard inside the room. Azarine was wasting no time when it came eating. He was devouring all of it and drank the water on top of it as his stomach was now satisfied. As he asked "So... What happened whe I passed out?"

Lunaria quietly replied back. "Lady Thanara, told us to let Vaelthar go for now. She said her Mother told him to do that."

Azarine stopped for a moment upon hearing that, before letting out a sigh. "I see... I suppose I can't do anything about that then." Then he started munching again.

Lunaria was a bit surprised by Azarine's calm reaction, considering he was considered the most ragegul Eclipsal Lord. "You are taking this, better than I thought."

Azarine replied back, calmly. "Its Thanara, who told you all to do that. So, I trust her that it must be some sort of plan... Besides, I, can't keep on being the same as how I used to be back then."

Lunaria confused slightly, questioned him again. "What do you, mean by that?"

Azarine looked at her and replied back. "I, am talking about my brother."

Lunaria paused slightly at the reasoning but understood it and let him continue.

"My younger brother, may be really old now. He is older than 3000 years now, but compared to me that's still really young. I, don't care about how old he gets. Its my duty as his older brother to protect him from anything. That's why... I forgot about everything else and was so furious when Vaelthar mentioned about ending my brother's life... " Azarine turned his gaze towards Lunaria. "You can understand how that feels don't you? Considering you already lost one of your siblings... Wouldn't your brother be as old as mine now as well, actually?"

Lunaria got slightly tensed upon that and looked down at her lap slightly. Whispering to herself, quietly. "If only I wasn't so slow in making a decision, during then..."

Azarine looked at her again and sighed slightly. "If I remember correctly... Its been over 2500 yrs now you last saw your brother right?" Azarine recalled and added.

"I'll give you an advice. You cherish your lived one above everything else right? This is your chance. Make a decision, that you know will help everyone. And protect your siblings too. Just because Omnithara can't see where your brother is do not mean anything. He was always undetected by Omnithara's Essence any way. Besides, he is strong... He might still be alive? You have beaten me once, remember? If you can do that, then finding your brother would not be impossible."

Lunaria chuckled slightly at that. "Oh please, you held back a lot during then. I would had lost to you otherwise... But still, maybe... He might still be alive. I want to find him but... The problem is Nyxelle. She loves him the most out of anyone else and his disappearance affected her a lot. If I went away, she might..."

Azarine spoke again. "That was the same with my brother. He disliked it. But he adapted through it. I will give you one advice about siblings. The more they try to avoid you after you and them are seperated from each other. That's them trying to avoid letting the emotions affect them. I am sure your brother must be doing the same. He might be missing you all but can't return because of something and trying to ignore it."

Lunaria thought for a second. "Perhaps, that might be true. I may not know why he left. But I remember how he was like when I first found him... He is still sensitive maybe... Alright then." She mentioned as she remembered what was the situation of her sibling when she first met him before he was taken in into the Caelran Family.

"If I have to do this myself, then I will if it protects those I cherish the most."

"I already lost some dear to me in the past. I can't lose another."

Azarine satisfied munched on another cracker. Speaking with his words barely understandable. "Mm- uggest, mm-to-mm."

Lunaria just stared at him with a deadpan look. "You should finish eating first."

Howis this guy so serious but silly at once? Lunaria thought to herself. Suddenly—

Bang!

The door slammed open with a yell from Seraphine. "Wahhh! Bestie, are you alr-!" Before she could finish her sentence. She gets hit with one of the cracked thrown into her mouth with enough force to cause her to stumble.

"Get out... Before, I throw a meteor next." Azarine threatened with an annoyed glare. Not liking the Angel's presence near him.

Seraphine held the cracked in her mouth and ate it slightly and spoke. "I just wanted to make sure you are alright." As she quietly walks out not wanting to get hit by an actual meteor. Because she knows that Azarine will hit her with one if she pushed hit tolerance further.

"I know very well that idiot just wants to annoy me. That look is obvious." Azarine muttered quietly to himself.

Lunaria also chuckled at the scene. But her thoughts now were deciding whether to think about leaving or not. There were benefits but also worries for her younger sister, Nyxelle. Well aware of how either answer may affect the phantom.
