Chapter 14 - Brothers of Red Moon

Sheltered in an old Rift cabin, the six warriors—Akuzai and his five friends—reconnect after years apart. Their reunion is bittersweet. Anuj, now a pacifist time-healer, still remembers Akuzai's laughter. Aditya, the fire-wielder with scorched timelines in his memories, hides guilt beneath sarcasm. Abhishek, a shadow-warrior and strategist, is calm and loyal. Tanishk, wielding the unstable Pulseblade, speaks in heartbeats and rage. Rivan, the silent seer, doesn't speak, but his gaze says more than words ever could.

Each of them has fought different battles in different timelines. The Crimson Dawn once trained together, before the Rift Wars and timeline splits separated them. They weren't just friends—they were brothers in every sense. Now, they've returned to anchor Akuzai's unraveling mind. They find him distant, still emotionally frozen. But they don't demand action—they offer understanding.

They tell Akuzai about the Rewrite—a wave sweeping across timelines, erasing and rewriting history. The Godless Prophet, a disciple of Nihlaz, now leads a growing cult to overwrite the multiverse's truth and unmake Akuzai's legacy. But before they fight this threat, Akuzai must find himself again.

That night, around a fading fire, they don't plan war—they share memories. Laughter mixes with pain. Aditya confesses his fear of becoming a destroyer again. Tanishk admits he's afraid of losing control. Abhishek says nothing—just listens. Rivan draws symbols in the dirt. Anuj tells a story about when Akuzai once saved them with nothing but a smile.

Akuzai smiles again. A small one—but real.
