To stabilize Akuzai's broken Chrono Core, the group travels to the Hall of Echoes, a forgotten sanctuary hidden within a collapsing timeline. Inside lies a rare phenomenon: memory crystals suspended in paradox—a place where echoes of time's greatest losses linger eternally.
Each warrior must face their greatest personal memory to progress through the hall. Akuzai is forced to relive Aera's final moments. Unlike illusions, this echo talks, breathes, even looks into his soul. She says things he never heard—reminders of her choice, not his failure. It breaks him all over again.
Anuj is forced to see the moment he couldn't reverse time to save his younger sister. Aditya is surrounded by timelines he burned during one of his breakdowns. Abhishek faces a version of himself who abandoned the team in a previous timeline—his worst fear. Tanishk is shown a memory where his rage almost killed innocent people, and Rivan witnesses a future where all his friends die, and he's powerless to stop it.
None of them escape unscarred. But they emerge with a deeper emotional connection. They realize they don't just fight alongside each other—they carry one another's burdens. Akuzai, for the first time, shares his guilt—not as a leader, but as a broken man trying to heal.
Outside the Hall, the sky cracks—the Rewrite has begun.
